"The Obama administration knowingly allowed at least 16 admitted MS-13 gang members into the country in 2014, according to documents obtained by a top Republican senator.
Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., chairman of the Senate Security and Government Affairs Committee, said at a hearing Wednesday that a whistleblower turned over the documents from the Customs and Border Protection agency detailing known gang members not being deported, but rather shipped to juvenile homes throughout the country.
“CBP apprehended them, knew they were MS-13 gang members, and they processed and disbursed them into our communities,” Johnson said."

"The media didn’t gaudily broadcast the bomber’s name, religion or ethnicity in their headlines, but at least they finally coughed up the information. He was Salman Abedi, son of Libyan “refugees.”
Apparently, the media think you can’t be trusted with that information. You might notice that the West is deliberately importing people who enjoy killing kids.

According to ABC News, the bomber’s father, Ramadan Abedi (not to be confused with Huma Abedin) was a member of an al-Qaida-linked Islamic group in Libya. For this, he was accepted as a “refugee” by the British government.
Liberals’ main reaction to the attack was not to demand the toppling of the terrorist-friendly British government, but to worry about an upsurge in Islamophobia. They say there’s nothing we can do about terrorism and we probably shouldn’t do anything anyway, because we deserve it."

"Judge Roy Moore, the same Chief Justice who stood for marriage being between one man and one woman and who is also known as the "Ten Commandments Judge" has a commanding lead in Alabama’s Senate race. Judge Moore stands for the Constitution and Godly principles. If there is any true God-fearing conservative that will stand against the millions of dollars and lies of the "Establishment", it is Judge Roy Moore.

http://constitution.com/voter-fraud-vir ... s-counted/

"Virginia has an entirely different type of voter fraud to contend with: The eligibility of 5,500 undocumented immigrants to cast votes.

“When Maureen Erickson registered to vote in Prince William County, she listed her home address as a street in Guatemala, in what should have been a very strong indication that she wasn’t a regular Virginia resident.

“Yet she remained on the voting rolls for years, and even cast ballots in 14 different elections, up through the 2008 presidential contest. She was only purged in 2012, just ahead of the election, after she self-reported as a noncitizen, according to a new report released Tuesday by the Public Interest Legal Foundation.

“Ms. Erickson was one of more than 5,500 noncitizens who were registered to vote in Virginia this decade, and were only bumped from the rolls after they admitted to being ineligible. Some 1,852 of them even managed to cast ballots that were likely illegal, though undetected, the PILF, a conservative voter integrity group, said in its report.

“Just as troubling, the PILF said, was Virginia’s efforts to try to hide the information from the public — a problem foundation President J. Christian Adams said began at the very top, with Gov. Terry McAuliffe.
“’At the instruction of Governor McAuliffe’s political appointees, local election officials spent countless resources to prevent this information from spilling into the open,’ Mr. Adams said in a statement releasing the report. ‘From NoVa to Norfolk and all urban and rural points in between, alien voters are casting ballots with practically no legal consequences in response.’
Terry McCauliffe’s name may ring a bell with many election watchers: The long time buddy of democratic failure and corrupt career politician Hillary Clinton restored voting rights to 60,000 felons in the state of Virginia just in time for 2016’s election. His blatant, and frankly disturbing obsession with stacking the deck in favor of anyone on the left is truly pathetic. McCauliffe’s inability to curb illegal alien voter fraud in his state has proven once again that the inept governor is nothing more than a lapdog for the deceitful democrats."

http://www.toddstarnes.com/column/city- ... y-marriage

http://www.gopusa.com/?p=25224?omhide=true

"The Tennes family has been farming in Michigan for generations. They grow all sorts of crops at the Country Mill Farm – organic apples, blueberries, pumpkins, sweet corn. And for the past seven years, Steve Tennes and his family have sold their produce at the farmer’s market owned by the city of East Lansing. But this year – city officials told the devout Catholic family that their blueberries and sweet corn were not welcome at the farmer’s market – and neither were they.
Last year, someone posted a message on Country Mill’s Facebook page inquiring about whether they hosted same-sex weddings at the farm. Tennes told the individual they did not permit same-sex marriages on the farm because of the family’s Catholic belief that marriage is a sacramental union between one man and one woman.

City officials later discovered the Facebook posting and began immediate action to remove Country Mill from the Farmer’s Market – alleging the family had violated the city’s discrimination ordinance. "It was brought to our attention that The Country Mill's general business practices do not comply with East Lansing's Civil Rights ordinances and public policy against discrimination as set forth in Chapter 22 of the City Code and outlined in the 2017 Market Vendor Guidelines, as such, The Country Mill's presence as a vendor his prohibited by the City's Farmer's Market Vendor Guidelines," read a letter the city sent to the family.

It also did not seem to matter to city leaders that the farm is located 22 miles outside the city limits – and had absolutely nothing to do with the business of selling blueberries at the farmer’s market. “We were surprised and we were shocked,” Steve told me. “My wife and I both volunteered to serve in the military – to protect freedom now we come home and the freedom that we worked to protect – we have to defend in our own backyard.”

I reached out to city leaders but they did not return my calls seeking comment. “Whether you are a Jew, Muslim or Christian – people of faith should not be eradicated from the marketplace simply because they don’t share the same thoughts and ideas that the government is choosing to promote,” Steve told me.

So they have decided to fight for their constitutional rights. Alliance Defending Freedom filed a federal lawsuit Wednesday alleging East Lansing violated the constitutional rights of the Tennes family.

“All Steve wants to do is sell his food to anyone who wants to buy it, but the city isn’t letting him,” said ADF Legal Counsel Kate Anderson. “People of faith, like the Tennes family, should be free to live and work according to their deeply held beliefs without fear of losing their livelihood. If the government can shut down a family farmer just because of the religious views he expresses on Facebook—by denying him a license to do business and serve fresh produce to all people—then no American is free.”

I warned you about this kind of attack in my new book, “The Deplorables’ Guide to Making America Great Again.” The attacks on religious liberty did not end just because a Republican is in the White House. There is a concerted effort by the Left to silence free speech and eradicate Christianity from the public marketplace. The only course of action is to stand and fight. I commend the Tennes famly and Alliance Defending Freedom for filing a lawsuit. Don’t let up until every last kernel of sweet corn has been restored to its rightful place in the farmer’s market.

Shuck it to the cob, America!

Marching Orders

1. Contact the City of East Lansing and the Farmer’s Market. Be sure to let them know what you think of their unconstitutional behavior.

2. Contact the Country Mill Farm on Facebook. Be sure to leave them an encouraging message and thank them for standing firm in the faith.

3. Pray for the Tennes family and their attorneys."

"The anti-conservative leanings of America’s academia is becoming more and more apparent every semester.
With universities such as UC Berkeley effectively banning conservative free speech by giving into New Fascist liberal protesters, it was only a matter of time before these trickle-down censorships reached the high school level. After all, high school is a near perfect reflection of whatever it is that the media is attempting to inflict on our nation. The youth and vigor of high school students is the perfect test market for trends of thought, and you can almost hear television executives foaming at the mouth when selling advertising space to the next acne treatment company or digital device manufacturer.
The consumption of mainstream media by these young people has also pushed many within their ranks directly into looney liberal land, as evidenced by the recent exclusion of the pro-life club from one high school that had already allowed LGBT-themed groups to exist.
“A high school in Allentown, Pennsylvania, is under fire for banning a pro-life club as being too controversial and political, but allowing pro-gay clubs. High School senior Liz Castro talked to Tucker Carlson Friday on Fox News about what school officials told her about her attempt to organize for the pro-life cause.
“’They told me that we couldn’t have our club because it was too controversial and too political at the time,’ Liz Castro explained.
“’So just anything that other people disagree with is not allowed, do you think you were singled out for that?’ Carlson asked.
“‘I think they were definitely discriminated against us because we were pro-life,’ Castro said.
“According to Life Site News, Parkland High School allows a gay-straight alliance club, a political science club, a fashion club, a chess club, and other groups.”
Democrats have long believed that their future lies with the youth of our nation, and have thusly thrust themselves into embarrassing and predictable bits of the media landscape in order to “connect” with these students. It is this undying need for young and under-educated voters that has liberals attempting to influence high schoolers in any way possible, including by disallowing conservative concepts of thought to be shared in the halls your local institutions."

“The Paris Agreement handicaps the United States economy in order to win praise from the very foreign capitals and global activists that have long sought to gain wealth at our country’s expense,” Trump said Thursday.

“The same nations asking us to stay in the agreement are the countries that have collectively cost America trillions of dollars through tough trade practices and, in many cases, lax contributions to our critical military alliance,” Trump added."

"Parents are furious after children as young as 5-years-old were exposed to a man’s erotic drag show performance at what was supposed to be a school district talent show.
The New York Daily News described the lewd performance as “complete with gyrations, tongue gymnastics and a flashed G-string.”
The May 25th performance shocked and enraged parents who could not believe the school district would allow a grown man to spread his legs and display his crotch to wide-eyed children."

http://www.wnd.com/2017/06/stunning-sen ... t-dissent/
"The U.S. Senate, in an extremely rare moment of action without any opposition, has adopted a resolution calling on President Trump to abide by a 1995 law that calls for the U.S. Embassy to be in Jerusalem.
The vote actually was 90-0, with Sens. Michael Bennet of Colorado, Cory Booker of New Jersey, Tammy Duckworth of Illinois, Jeff Flake of Arizona, Bob Menendez of New Jersey, Jeff Merkley of Oregon, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Dan Sullivan of Alaska, Thom Tillis of North Carolina, and Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania –– an assortment of both Republicans and Democrats –– not voting.
While the Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995 calls for the move to Jerusalem, which would be seen worldwide as a resounding affirmation of Israel’s link to, presence in and responsibility for Jerusalem, it also provides for six-month waivers that presidents could use if they felt that politically they should not make the move.
That waiver has been used by both Democrats and Republicans ever since, including President Trump just days ago.
However, at the time he renewed his commitment to moving the Embassy, he just said it would not happen right now.
So while the call for the law to be followed is seen by many as a call for the establishment of the Embassy in Jerusalem, technically it simply states that the law should be followed.
Make THIS year the year to see Jerusalem, in the 2017 WND Tour led by Joseph and Elizabeth Farah and featuring vitis with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. Ambassador David Freidman.
Now the senators, on a 90-0 vote, commemorated the 50th anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem by adopting S. Res. 176.
This marks the 50th year since the city was reunified under Israel management in the Six-Day War, and it notes the continuous Jewish presence in the city for three millennia.
“Be it resolved, that the Senate (1) recognizes the 50th Anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem and extends its friendship and hopes for peace to the residents of Jerusalem and the people of Israel; (2) reaffirms its support for Israel’s commitment to religious freedom and administration of holy sites in Jerusalem; (3) continues to support strengthening the mutually beneficial American-Israeli relationship; (4) commends Egypt and Jordan, former combatant states of the Six Day War, who in subsequent years embraced a vision of peace and coexistence with Israel and have continued to uphold their respective peace agreements; (5) reaffirms that it is the longstanding, bipartisan policy of the United States Government that the permanent status of Jerusalem remains a matter to be decided between the parties through final status negotiations towards a two-state solution; and (6) reaffirms the Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995 (Public Law 104–45) as United States law, and calls upon the President and all United States officials to abide by its provisions.”
The resolution notes that for 3,000 years, there has been a continuous Jewish presence in Jerusalem, and it has been Judaism’s holiest city and the focal point of Jewish religious devotion.
It’s also been a holy city for Christians and Muslims more recently, Christians for about 2,000 years and Muslims since Islam was created seven or eight centuries later.
WND reported only days ago when Trump, following a provision of the 1995 law, signed a waiver delaying the creation of a Jerusalem Embassy for another six months.
Netanyahu said he was disappointed that the U.S. Embassy, now in Tel Aviv, will not move to Jerusalem immediately. But he’s grateful that President Trump has committed to doing exactly that in the future.
“Though Israel is disappointed that the embassy will not move at this time, we appreciate today’s expression of President Trump’s friendship to Israel and his commitment to moving the Embassy in the future,” a statement from Netanyahu’s office said.
“Maintaining embassies outside the capital drives peace further away by helping keep alive the Palestinian fantasy that the Jewish people and the Jewish state have no connection to Jerusalem,” he said.
Israel, he said, believes “that the American Embassy, like the embassies of all countries with whom we have diplomatic relations, should be in Jerusalem, our eternal capital.”
While President Trump signed a waiver to an existing U.S. law putting the Embassy in Jerusalem, meaning it won’t move there for the next six months, he said that result will happen eventually.
A statement posted on the White House website, when he signed the document delaying for at least six months any move, said, “No one should consider this step to be in any way a retreat from the president’s strong support for Israel and for the United States-Israel alliance. President Trump made this decision to maximize the chances of successfully negotiating a deal between Israel and the Palestinians, fulfilling his solemn obligation to defend America’s national security interests. But, as he has repeatedly stated his intention to move the embassy, the question is not if that move happens, but only when.”
Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama all had used such waivers.
On October 23, 1995, Congress passed the Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995, recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and requiring the U.S. Embassy to be moved there by May 31, 1999. The law passed the Senate by 93-5 and the House by 374-37. Yet the law was never implemented because of opposition from former Presidents Clinton, Bush and Obama. Each president took advantage of a waiver provision in the Jerusalem Embassy Act, enabling them to certify, every six months, that it is not yet time to move the U.S. Embassy.
The move by Trump brought disappointment to the large constituency of voters who identify as evangelical Christians who support Israel.
Penny Nance, CEO of Concerned Women for America, immediately released a statemet: “CWA’s members are very disappointed that the president chose to sign the waiver in direct contradiction to his campaign promise to move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem. In 1967, Arab armies declared war on Israel. Until that time, Jordan had occupied east Jerusalem for 20 years, destroyed most synagogues, and did not allow religious freedom. Israel won the 1967 war and liberated east Jerusalem, thus re-uniting their ancient, 3,000-year-old capital. Under the Israelis, Muslims, Christians, and Jews enjoy religious freedom.”
She pointed out, “Israel is the only country in the world that does not have the U.S. Embassy in its own designated capital. It’s an unjust anomaly. We believe it is a mistake to tie the U.S. Embassy move to any possible peace agreement, since Palestinians remain unwilling to negotiate directly with Israel.”
The bottom line, she explained, is this: “In my presence, both U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman and Israel’s Ambassador to the U.S., Ron Dermer, said the move is 50 years overdue. (The 1967 Six-Day War gave Israel the old city.) Eight-one percent of evangelicals voted for President Trump, and the vast majority also support the Jerusalem Embassy Act. In December we will once again ask the president to keep his word when this waiver expires.”
Mat Staver, chief of Liberty Counsel, had encouraged Trump to simply leave the law alone, which would then require the move.
Just before the decision by Trump, he explained, “Congress signed the Jerusalem Embassy Act in 1999. Eighteen years waiting is more than enough. It is beyond time for the United States to move the Embassy to Jerusalem. To not recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel contradicts the Bible, history, present-day reality, and is anti-Semitic.”
Eugene Kontorovich wrote at the Volokh Conspiracy blog that while the decision to sign a waiver at this point certainly is a disappointment for Trump supporters, “it will not be the end of the show.”
“He will have seven more waivers ahead, with mounting pressure as his term progresses. Under Obama, speculation focused on what actions he would take or allow against Israel (and even these waited until very late in his second term).”
He explained the waiver “does not waive the obligation to move the embassy. That policy has been fully adopted by Congress in the Act (sec. 3(a)(3)) and is not waiveable. Of course, Congress cannot simply order the president to implement such a move, especially given his core constitutional power over diplomatic relations.”
WND reported last month when Christian leaders representing 60 million members of the faith across America sent the president a letter asking him to move the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to the country’s capital, Jerusalem.
The non-profit Liberty Counsel reports the letter called for the move – which was directed by Congress in 1995 – to be made “at long last.”
The letter, signed by about five dozen Christian leaders, stated, “The time has come, at long last, to uphold American law by moving the U.S. Embassy to Israel’s eternal indivisible capital city of Jerusalem.”
“The Republican National Convention’s official 2016 platform rightly stated, ‘We recognize Jerusalem as the eternal and indivisible capital of the Jewish state and call for the American embassy to be moved there in fulfillment of U.S. law. Moreover, we were honored and grateful that you pledged to specifically uphold this policy in response to a request from the American Christian Leaders for Israel coalition during your campaign. Many of our constituents cast their vote for you due to this commitment,'” the letter said."

"The recent firing of incompetent FBI Director, James Comey, by President Trump caused quite a stir amongst his leftist critics…
But as the unrepentant worldwide Jihad continues, it makes a whole lot of sense to examine just why America’s internal enemies are so unhappy about Comey’s firing.
With two more terror attacks occurring in London and Paris in recent days, it is now high-time to look at the shameful history of Barack Hussein Obama’s FBI and how it empowered everyone from ISIS to the average wannabe Jihadist in the streets of Boston, Paris, London, or any place else.

10 Ways Obama’s FBI Supported Islamic Jihad

1. Prior to bombing the Boston Marathon on April 15th, 2013, with the aid of his brother Dzhokhar, Robert Mueller’s FBI interviewed Tamerlan Tsarnaev but let him go.
The FBI was acting on information provided by Russian intelligence, which knew Tsarnaev to be an Islamic Jihadist from his time in Chechnya.
Upon Tsarnaev’s release, the Russians sent the Obama Administration a second warning, but Robert Mueller’s FBI opted against investigating him again.
If you look up Tsarnaev, you will find him mentioned as a “Russian-American”, yet the fact that he had been an openly radicalized Muslim since 2008 is conveniently dismissed.

2. Shortly after the NSA scandal exploded in 2013, the FBI was exposed conducting its own data mining on innocent Americans; the agency, Bloomberg reported, retains that material for decades (even if no wrongdoing is found).
This, too, is a great example of treasonous activity as the FBI has never functioned in a surveillance capacity against rank-and-file American citizens.
Their work has always focused on criminals, or at least, those heavily suspected of continuous and heinous criminal activity.

3. The FBI had possession of emails sent by Nidal Hasan, the Fort Hood terrorist who killed 13 and injured 32 more, saying he wanted to kill his fellow soldiers to protect the Taliban...
Yet still chose NOT to intervene, leading many critics to argue the tragedy that resulted in the death of 31 Americans, in total, at Fort Hood could have been prevented.
This of course, is pure nonsense.
The FBI willingly chose to ignore Hasan, because their leadership was either too dumb or too traitorous, to do anything to stop him. There is no argument.

4. During the Obama Administration, the FBI claimed that two private jets were being used primarily for counterterrorism, when in fact they were mostly being used for Eric Holder and Robert Mueller's business and personal travel.
Mueller was Comey’s predecessor and crucial in the Fast and Furious affair during which millions of surplus US military firearms somehow found their way into the hands of Mexican Drug Cartels.

5. When the FBI demanded Apple create a "backdoor" that would allow law enforcement agencies to unlock the cell phones of various suspects, the company refused, sparking a battle between the feds and America's biggest tech company.
What makes this incident indicative of Director Comey's questionable management of the agency is that:

a) The FBI jumped the gun, as they were indeed ultimately able to crack the San Bernardino terrorist's phone, and

b) Almost every other major national security figure sided with Apple (from former CIA Director General Petraeus to former CIA Director James Woolsey to former director of the NSA, General Michael Hayden), warning that such a "crack" would inevitably wind up in the wrong hands.

6. In 2015, the FBI conducted a controversial raid on a Texas political meeting, finger printing, photographing, and seizing phones from attendees.
Some in the group believe in restoring Texas as an independent constitutional republic.
As was common during the Obama years, the press spun the victims into villains here, by claiming that the peaceful meeting was an “Anti-Islamic Rally”.

7. During its investigation into Hillary Clinton's mishandling of classified material, the FBI made an unusual deal in which Clinton aides were both given immunity and allowed to destroy their laptops.
This, of course, was done prior to the news becoming public.
There still remains no evidence of judicial support for this action, meaning that (this wouldn’t be the last time), FBI Director Comey fundamentally declared himself Attorney General.
Interesting that nobody in the White House said a thing about it…isn’t it.

8. The father of the radical Islamist who detonated a backpack bomb in New York City in 2016 alerted the FBI to his son's radicalization.
The FBI, however, cleared Ahmad Khan Rahami after a brief interview. Again, Comey’s (and Obama’s) fingerprints are nowhere near the evidence.
However, as the shameful support of Hillary Clinton by the entire Obama Department of Justice came to light during the latter parts of the 2016 Presidential Election, a behind-the-scenes-coup was allegedly under way at the FBI, due to precisely these sorts of irresponsible politically-motivated shenanigans.
Namely, good cops were pissed off that they weren’t allowed to investigate properly and ended up looking like fools in the public eye, while the likes of Obama and Clinton could freely continue accepting Islamist dollars through their various foundations and charities.

9. The FBI also investigated the terrorist who killed 49 people and wounded 53 more at the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Fla on June 12, 2016. Despite a more than 10-month investigation of Omar Mateen -- during which Mateen admitting lying to agents -- the FBI opted against pressing further and closed its case.
Of course, Mateen is also defined as “an American mass murderer” instead the Islamic Jihadist he is, by reputable media sources.

10. CBS recently reported that when two terrorists sought to kill Americans attending the "Draw Muhammad" event in Garland, Texas, on May 3, 2015, the FBI not only had an understanding an attack was coming, but actually had an undercover agent traveling with the Islamists, Elton Simpson and Nadir Soofi.
The FBI has refused to comment on why the agent on the scene did not intervene during the attack.
It is this last example, which we must observe with the greatest scrutiny.
It is also the best example of how to deal with Islamic Jihad.

The fact that Obama’s FBI (under the guidance of Comey) had the ability to end the attack before it started, yet still left it up to the (thankfully armed) citizenry attending the event teaches us two valuable lessons:

1. We have so many traitors in our government, that it is safest not to trust government agencies at all. President Trump may be trying, but it’s foolish to think that all of this accumulated leftist scum will simply disappear.

2. Arm and protect ourselves as The Founding Fathers intended us to do.
It wasn’t red hats or stripes that made America great…
It was the blood spilled for freedom…
And the willingness to spill a whole lot more of it, if it meant protecting our loved ones from harm…
Whether it be here at home or halfway across the globe.
We pray for peace, we hope for good, but at the core we know that, given an excuse, most men can become bad and can only be subdued by force.
The past eight years have painted a very clear picture of how easily we can all perish. Let us think more carefully about what it will take to survive in these challenging and rapidly changing times.
Love thy neighbor, but KNOW thy enemy!"

http://constitution.com/marco-rubio-pro ... y-hearing/

"On Thursday, former FBI Director James Comey was more open about the past few months than he has been at any point before today. The liberal media is focusing on the fact that Comey twice called President Trump a liar, but they’re ignoring the fact that Comey was saying Trump was lying about “why” Comey was fired. On every other aspect of the chaos swirling around the President Comey managed to vindicate the President and prove most of the media furor wrong.
One Senator expertly unmasked every angle of Trump-phobia and used Comey’s own words to prove that the President has done nothing wrong (except maybe lie about why he fired Comey, which is Comey’s opinion). Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) dissected Comey’s lengthy statement to Congress, and then dove in and applied his testimony to as many of the “fake news” Trump stories as he could… and the result was clear to anyone paying attention; President Trump did nothing wrong.

Rubio expertly reveals that there are really only 3 major issues at play here, and only 3 things that should concern us about anything the President has done over the last few months:
Trump asked for Comey’s “loyalty.”
Trump asked Comey to let the “Mike Flynn thing go,” a sentiment he repeated in the media the very next day.
Trump asked Comey to tell America what he had already told Trump and Congress – that he wasn’t under investigation.
The first issue on this list was heavy-handed and something that President Trump should have known was the wrong thing to do. The second issue, according to Comey’s on testimony, seemed to be a matter of a friend advocating for a friend, and not an attempt to pressure Comey to not pursue justice. According to Comey’s testimony the President truly believes that Flynn did nothing wrong, and was simply a victim of the witch hunt against Trump. Finally, the last request makes perfect sense, especially since the media was constantly arguing that Trump was indeed under investigation.

Comey agreed that these were the core issues at play here, which is when Rubio asks “This investigation is full of leaks… did you ever wonder why, of all the things in this investigation, the only thing that has never been leaked is the fact that the President was not personally under investigation…?”
Of course, Comey didn’t have a clear answer, but it was perhaps the most important moment of the hearing as it perfectly unmasks what is REALLY happening in D.C. right now; there is an establishment directed witch hunt aimed at President Trump and they are attempting to do everything they can to undermine his administration.
In fact, Rubio’s questioning of Comey proved something else about the rumors swirling around on the Trump-Russia connection. It proved that there is no reason to doubt the President’s honesty on the Russia issue. According to Comey, Trump didn’t try to stop the Russia investigation, he actually encouraged Comey to go further and find everything there was to know about what happened!
Comey’s testimony proves that “the worst” thing the President did over the last few months was ask for Comey’s “loyalty,” which should barely register in the media with the world in as much turmoil as it is."

"Bill O’Reilly castigated former FBI Director James Comey for taking it upon himself to leak a government document to the press to seek to vindication, and the former Fox News personality also faulted lawmakers on the Senate Intelligence Committee for not reacting more forcefully to the revelation.
“It was almost beyond belief that James Comey calmly stated in front of the world that he leaked a written assessment of a private meeting he had with the president of the United States, and a dozen Senators who were questioning him sat there with no reaction,” O’Reilly wrote in an op-ed for The Hill. “I mean, it was bizarre.”
In light of the content of former FBI director’s memos regarding meetings with President Donald Trump receiving wide circulation in the press, Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, asked him during Thursday’s hearing if he had shown copies of them to anyone.Comey informed the senator that he had, explaining he wanted to get his side of the story out.
“My judgment was I needed to get that out to the public square,” Comey said, so he asked a friend who is a professor at Columbia Law School to pass it along to the press.
“I thought that might prompt the appointment of a special counsel,” Comey added.O’Reilly was shocked Comey’s response did not stir a reaction from the senators on the committee.
O’Reilly said the admission is stunning.
“Let me paraphrase the Comey attitude about the memo: ‘Oh yeah, it was great. I woke up and said gee, I have to get my side of the story out after I was fired,” O’Reilly wrote. “‘So why don’t I give a copy of a very private memo that may implicate the leader of the free world in a possible cover-up regarding the Russian investigation? I know, I’ll give it to a friend of mine!
"Yeah, that’s the ticket. I’ll pass the very private memo, favourable to me but damaging to the president, to my pal who will then give it to The New York Times, a newspaper that despises President Trump to a degree rarely seen on this planet.’”“Not one of them said, ‘You did what?'” O’Reilly said. “Instead they just ‘moved along’ without challenging the former FBI’s director’s incredible admission.”
Fox News host Bill Hemmer asked Collins about the exchange Friday morning, wondering if she anticipated Comey’s response.
“I was stunned by the answer,” the senator replied. “I never guessed that it was Comey himself who leaked the memo.”
“Obviously, it had the result that Mr. Comey wanted. It prompted the appointment of a special counsel,” she added. “He has made some real mistakes in judgment, and this would qualify as one of them in my book.”
The senator said regardless of what the former FBI director contends, those memos do not belong to him, but were created in the official course of business on government time, using government equipment, and therefore are subject to federal law pertaining to their handling. “They are not his private papers,” Collins said.
CNN reported Friday that Trump’s outside counsel plans to file a complaint with the Justice Department and the Senate Judiciary Committee regarding Comey’s leaking the memos.
Trump claimed “total vindication” from Thursday’s hearing during which Comey stated the president never directed him to end the Russia investigation and confirmed he told Trump on three occasions he was not the subject of an FBI investigation.O’Reilly concluded his assessment of Thursday’s hearing by asking a question. “The Senators on the Intel Committee fell over all themselves praising Mr. Comey’s patriotism,” he wrote. “But whatever happened to honor and forthright behavior? Isn’t that part of the patriotic equation?”

"June 1, 2017 (LifeSiteNews) — The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services has instituted sweeping changes to its policies and procedures in caring for children who experience gender dysphoria that essentially weed out all employees and volunteers who cannot in good conscience support and promote transgender ideology.
llinois now "requires that all LGBTQ children and youth be placed in an affirming safe housing, receive LGBTQ competent medical and mental health services, and have equal opportunity and access to care."
However, in order to assure consistent achievement of that goal, the new policy requires "any person who is involved with DCFS children/youth will complete mandatory training in LGBTQ competency." This will be an integral part of DCFS core training and will be a requirement to attaining a child-welfare license.
Purging transgenderism’s non-believers
According to attorney Mary Hasson, a fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center in Washington, D.C, “The new DCFS policies are less about safety and well being and more about using state power to ‘overrule’ basic, empirical (and common sense) truths about human beings and to replace them with ideological assertions that validate adult feelings rather than benefit children.”
The revised procedures command, "In no instance should LGBTQ children/youth be placed with a non-affirming caregiver who is opposed to sexual orientations that differ from the caregiver's own. Nor should LGBTQ children and youth be placed with caregivers who are unwilling/unable to support children and youth whose gender identity or gender expression differs from traditional expectation.”
The revision goes further, insisting that “The child/youth's chosen name and preferred gender pronoun (including gender-neutral pronouns such as ‘they’ or ‘ze/hir’) must be respected.”
Guided by left forces
The new procedures and standards were created under the guidance of the American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois (ACLU), Pride Action Tank and other pro-gay and transgender organizations. While the ACLU had sought, but was not granted, the right to review the final version of the policy revisions, the progressive rights group said it was “pleased that DCFS incorporated nearly all of the changes requested by the ACLU.”
Peter Sprigg of the Family Research Council observes that, “While this portrays itself as being based in science, it is 100 percent ideological.”
Laurie Higgins of the Illinois Family Institute agrees. “There is no research proving that children are best served by having gender dysphoria affirmed. Quite the contrary, the best research to date suggests that if gender dysphoria is not affirmed in young children, it diminishes over time,” she explained. “Does the DCFS believe it’s better for children to endure castration or double mastectomies, a lifetime of cross-sex hormone-doping with its unknown health risks, and social struggles than to accept their immutable sex?
In a landmark report published last year, authors Lawrence S. Mayer, M.B., M.S., Ph.D., scholar-in-residence in the Department of Psychiatry at the Johns Hopkins University and a professor of statistics and biostatistics at Arizona State University, and Paul R. McHugh, M.D., professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, found that only a minority of children who express gender-atypical thoughts or behavior will continue to do so into adolescence or adulthood. There is no evidence that all such children should be encouraged to become transgender, much less subjected to hormone treatments or surgery.
Mayer and McHugh added, “There is little scientific evidence for the therapeutic value of interventions that delay puberty or modify the secondary sex characteristics of adolescents, although some children may have improved psychological well-being if they are encouraged and supported in their cross-gender identification. There is no evidence that all children who express gender-atypical thoughts or behavior should be encouraged to become transgender.”
Discrimination Over Diversity and Care
Beyond being harmful policy, the new directive is, according to Sprigg, “Discriminatory against anyone with traditional moral values, in particular, Christians” and “will hurt children” by limiting available resources.
Illinois Family Institute’s Higgins added, “Denying people of ... faith the opportunity to foster or adopt children constitutes the antithesis of a commitment to diversity and puts the lie to DCFS’s claim to care about the needs of children. The number of available foster and adoptive families will decrease.”
The revised procedures will have “a chilling effect on DCFS staff, volunteers, foster parents, and others whose ‘speech and behavior’ will be monitored and evaluated according to ideological criteria by the state of Illinois,” Hasson said.
She continued, “Forget the democratic process. Forget free speech, freedom of religion, and the conscience rights of American citizens. Forget the welfare of vulnerable children. The state of Illinois heels to the commands of LGBTQ activists; it has embraced a new creed based on the LGBTQ vision of the human person. The only winners are progressive activists and lawyers eager to fill their litigation dockets. The losers? Illinois’ most vulnerable children.”

"Early Wednesday morning Congressional Republicans were at a local D.C. softball field practicing for the upcoming annual bipartisan softball game. Apparently, the practice was the perfect opportunity for an angry (and probably crazy) leftist to attempt to hurt the GOP in any way he could. Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) recounted an “odd” encounter he had as he was leaving the field just minutes before the shooting: “There was a guy that walked up to us that was asking whether it was Republicans or Democrats out there, and it was just a little odd,” DeSantis told Fox News. The shooter has been identified as James T. Hodgkinson of Belleville, Illinois. Hodgkinson is 66-years old and was a staunch supporter of Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign, even going door-to-door for the socialist politician.
House Majority Whip and GOP leader Steve Scalise(R-LA), several officers and a congressional staffer were wounded in the attack. Because Scalise is a Congressional leader the Capitol Hill police were in attendance providing protection, so when the shooting started they took over and were able to subdue the gunman, alive, within a few minutes. Even with police presence, Hodgkinson was able to get off about 50 rounds from his rifle, so one can only imagine the chaos that could have ensued had the police not been present.
Just a few hours after the attack Virginia’s liberal Governor Terry McAuliffe (D-VA) took to the media to argue that Virginia had to get more serious about their gun laws and gun control. It doesn’t matter to McAuliffe that D.C. has some of the strictest gun laws in the nation, or that Hodgkinson is from Illinois which also has very strict gun laws. It doesn’t matter to McAuliffe that the attacker was a left-wing Democrat who was out to kill as many Republicans as he could and would likely have found another means of attack if he didn’t have a rifle. Instead of focusing on the underlying cause, namely Democrats overly aggressive and blatantly violent rhetoric these last few months… McAuliffe decided to hammer home gun control.
The reality is that if any of these Congressmen were allowed to carry firearms to defend themselves the situation would have likely been less dangerous. It was the guns of the Capitol police that stopped the shooter, not the gun laws of Washington, D.C."

If the killer had driven on the field with his car he might have killed even more people as he swerved all around the place to run over them. We should make steering wheels illegal so a car has to stay straight on the strait and narrow and can never hurt anybody.

The shooter is now deceased. He was James T. Hodgkinson of Belleville, Illinois, a staunch supporter of the Southern Poverty Law Centre and of Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign. He belonged to a number of anti-Republican groups, including one called “Terminate the Republican Party.” recently posted on his Facebook, “Trump is a Traitor. Trump Has Destroyed Our Democracy. It’s Time to Destroy Trump & Co.”

"The hospital where Rep. Steve Scalise is recovering after being shot says the congressman remains in critical condition and will require several more operations. MedStar Washington Hospital Centre is also providing a more detailed description of Scalise’s wounds. The hospital says he was shot in the left hip, after which “the bullet travelled across his pelvis, fracturing bones, injuring internal organs and causing severe bleeding.”

"In a dramatic turnaround, a federal judge has ruled that permits to complete the Dakota Access Pipeline must be reconsidered, and the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe has demanded the flow of oil through the pipeline be stopped. Completion of the controversial pipeline was stopped by the Obama Administration last December, with a call for an environmental-impact statement to assess risks. However, the judge wrote in his ruling, “As we all know, elections have consequences, and the government’s position on the easement shifted significantly once President Trump assumed office on January 20, 2017.” President Trump called on the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to issue the permits, which it did shortly after he took office. Completion of the pipeline swiftly followed, as contractors drilled under a lake formed by a dam on the Missouri River, to hook up the two ends of the pipeline. The flow of oil began June 1. But on Wednesday, U.S. District Court Judge James Boasberg for the District of Columbia said in a 91-page decision that the Corps did not adequately consider the impacts of an oil spill on the tribe’s fishing rights, hunting rights, or issues of environmental justice when it issued the permits needed to complete the project. The Corps must now reconsider those aspects under the judge’s demand that the agency substantiate its decision to issue the permits. Boasberg was appointed by President Obama. “This is a significant victory,” said Jan Hasselman, attorney for EarthJustice in Seattle, representing the tribe. He said the tribe in a status conference before the judge next week will also demand that the flow of oil be stopped while the remand is underway. Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Chairman Dave Archambault II said in a statement: “We applaud the courts for protecting our laws and regulations from undue political influence and will ask the court to shut down pipeline operations immediately.” The developer, Energy Transfer Partners, could not immediately be reached for comment. Hasselman said the court found three separate violations of legal standards when the Corps issued the permits to complete the pipeline. An analysis of the potential for spills by an outside analyst was not adequately addressed. The Corps also didn’t consider risks to hunting and fishing rights reserved by the tribe in waters of Lake Oahe, formed by the damming of the Missouri River, where the pipeline crossing was drilled. Finally, the environmental-justice concerns raised by the tribe were also not adequately addressed, nor the highly controversial nature of the project. While the tribe lost on other points it raised, “These are not minor, paperwork transgressions,” Hasselman said, who called the ruling a “major victory for the tribe.” If the judge won’t shut down the flow of oil as the Corps does its reconsideration, the tribe will demand a deadline for its work, Hasselman said. “If pipeline operations are suspended, they can take all the time they want,” he added. The decision will turn on how disruptive turnoff would be, and the likelihood that the deficiencies in the Corps’ review can be remedied, Boasberg wrote in his ruling. The $3.8 billion pipeline runs for 1,168 miles across North and South Dakota, Iowa, and Illinois to carry more than half a million gallons a day of Bakken crude to hook up to other pipelines in Patoka, Ill. The tribe argued the pipeline, routed within a half mile of its reservation, puts its water supply in the Missouri River and tribal lands, including sacred sites, unduly at risk. Its fight against the pipeline was joined by tribes from around the Northwest and the nation, as well as opponents from all walks of life from around the globe. Energy Transfer Partners has argued the pipeline is safe and preferable to either tanker trucks or oil trains for the transport of an essential commodity."

Newt Gingrich: ‘A President Cannot Obstruct Justice’ (He Voted That Bill Clinton Obstructed Justice)

Speaking before an audience at the National Press Club Friday, Newt Gingrich claimed that special counsel Robert Mueller is investigating President Donald Trump for a crime that an American President cannot possibly commit.

“Technically, the president of the United States cannot obstruct justice,” Gingrich said (via Marketwatch). “The President of the United States is the chief executive officer of the United States. If he wants to fire the FBI director, all he has to do is fire him.”

Those words, of course, do not square with perhaps the most famous vote Gingrich ever cast as a member of Congress — a vote in favor of the impeachment of then-President Bill Clinton.

Article III of that bill plainly states:
In his conduct while President of the United States, William Jefferson Clinton, in violation of his constitutional oath faithfully to execute the office of President of the United States and, to the best of his ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States, and in violation of his constitutional duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed, has prevented, obstructed, and impeded the administration of justice, and has to that end engaged personally, and through his subordinates and agents, in a course of conduct or scheme designed to delay, impede, cover up, and conceal the existence of evidence and testimony related to a Federal civil rights action brought against him in a duly instituted judicial proceeding.
This is just the latest flip-flop for Gingrich, who slammed Mueller on Twitter after previously calling him “a superb choice.”
