And Obama was twice shown coming down Air Force One's GOLDEN stairs. They said he was there to talk about green energy and jobs. I think that's code for communism and idleness.

Chip - I am disgusted by the opulence and paranoia that surrounds US Presidents. However, the steps on the plane look like regular steps to me - they have a gold hue because of the lighting. There was a flash that briefly overpowered the ambient lighting, and the steps looked aluminum to me. Not that that changes any of the other points you made, especially about the blockade and security. Yes, he must be loved by the people to need that kind of protection.

Eternity is a long time. How long do you think it takes for them to get sick of their 72 virgins? (And how long do they maintain virgin status?) Once the honeymoon is over, it could be pretty awful.
