I'll gladly apologize if I'm wrong on Mitt. So, IF he wins the presidency AND he turns to the constitution and becomes a righteous leader.. then I will gladly admit I was wrong. Do you have the courage to do the same if you are wrong and IF he wins the presidency and he continues the decline of our nation that you will admit you were?

So, just remind me in 4 years if our country isn't completely a waste by then. No need to "DEMAND" anything from me... or is that your style? You like to bully just as much as you claim others do?

And you my friend, have buttons that are easily pushed. I have no problem admitting when I'm wrong. But I'm not.
If the time comes, I will. You are the bully who responds with anger. I've tried to be your friend and was just discussing.

Ok, y'all, this thread started out as an idea of who the VP nominee would be for Romney and has become another thread of bashing each other. Yes, yes...we either love or hate Romney, but he will be the GOP candidate.

Can you get back to an intelligent, civil discussion on a VP candidate for Romney? Ideas? Comments.

Brad, I've stated several times that I refuse to vote for a Demoista, X( as Juliette suggested, "try and keep up!" :)

Brad, I simple grew weary of the RP supporters continually attacking Mitt even though it was obvious he would be the Republican nominee. You guys are still trying to talk us out of voting for Mitt! Why?

Brad, we who support Mitt are wondering why simply because a vote for someone who has no chance of winning is in effect a vote for Obama. And Brad, we do not understand that mindset. Therefor, we see paulistas as secretly supporting Obama by encouraging Mitt voters to vote for Ron Paul, or some other loser. Your paulistas declaring "self-righteousness" because of anti-Mitt votes holds no water with we who support Mitt. We see those attempts as nothing more than failed Obama political noise and propaganda. And yes, I expect to see more of it, we members of the true Church need be tested!

I'll take my chances with the Priesthood thanks!

I think Rubio, though I like him, will not pan out well for Romney. His background as LDS will certainly cause a stir. Though he's not active they will play the "2 Mormon's in the white house" angle. Take on top of that Rubio converted to the Catholic faith and here you go again with the "he will recieve guidance from the Pop" angle.

So Romney will be receiving direction for the President of the LDS church and Rubio from the Pope. Ow yeah I see that making for ammo when that is announced!

I don't know at this point who would be a candidate. A woman will never get it and frankly I don't want to see a woman in that position.

Yes. You know that everything that is seen as "bad" that Romney will do in his time in office will be the churches fault. They are waiting till they are closer to the elections to bring up the polygamy topic in heavy doses.

Why do we care what the anti-Mormons say? It's been proven time and time again that the honest in heart investigate the Church with renewed vigor after such attacks! The more vicious the antis get, the better it is for increased baptisms. Are some of us concerned about the strength of our own testimony?

I haven't yet decided who I'd like to get the nod at VP, I like several of the potential candidates. But since Mitt is the one deciding and he hasn't ask me my opinion, I'll defer to him!

Bob, you really have no problem with Mitt endorsing the NDAA, the bogus 'war on terror', wanting to expand the empire and more funding for the MIC when we're already bankrupt, saying he wouldn't need to go to Congress for war against Iran, giving his stamp of approval to the most corrupt institution on the planet (Federal Reserve), flip-flopping on the issues or saying 'I don't know that anyone has talked to God since Moses'? Really? :ymapplause: :o)

Umm... no it's not. You're the one that early stated it would be detrimental to his campaign. I'm just concurring that it would be.

Juliette wrote:The woman ticket doesn't work, never has.

And if you recall I countered that argument earlier. Not that I don't think it would never work... just that it won't work right now for Americans still because we on average to way too closed minded about all aspects political.
