"Traditional corporate America has taken a left turn.
Democratic officials have their hands as CEO’s and business partners in stocks and corporations, and the political influence has been affecting the average consumer.
Although not all corporations support leftist values, the general trend is more fall to the left and Democratic manipulations.

Chick Fil A is one major corporation, however, that holds traditionally conservative values.

Kellogg’s has recently rescinded their ad campaigns with the conservative news organization, Breitbart, stating that their viewpoints do not align, without further explanation.
Breitbart News reports:
Kellogg’s decision was spurred by efforts from left-wing pressure groups, who unleashed a social media campaign to pull companies away from advertising on Breitbart by accusing the news network of racism and antisemitism.
Though the loss barely affected Breitbart’s revenue, the news organization issued a petition to boycott the company and their many products.
Conservative readers banned together, and the petition gained over 250,000 signatures in just under 48 hours.
Kellogg’s issued a simple statement that left Breitbart with little answers to the loss of ads, other than leftist criticisms.

Breitbart News reports:

“We regularly work with our media-buying partners to ensure our ads do not appear on sites that aren’t aligned with our values as a company,” said Kellogg’s Kris Charles, who failed to mention exactly how Breitbart failed to “aligned” with Kellogg’s values. “We recently reviewed the list of sites where our ads can be placed and decided to discontinue advertising on Breitbart.com. We are working to remove ads from that site.”
The left has long since had their hands in corporate America, including bribing politicians and asserting leftist values to the mainstream populace.
Corporate ad campaigns are out of touch with the average American, asserting that all Americans are part of the elitist left.

Breitbart News reports:
For instance, here’s a revealing November 21 headline in The Wall Street Journal: “Advertisers Search for Middle America: Trump’s win spurs concerns that ad agencies are out of touch with consumers.” As the Journal explained, well-off ad men and ad women had been making the narcissistic mistake of believing that all their customers were like them, or wanted to be like them: “Too much advertising falsely assumes that all U.S. consumers desire to be like coastal elites.” And so to fix that problem, the smarter ad companies are now seeking to spread outside their bicoastal enclaves, so that they can stay in better touch with their customers.

The Kellogg’s company once supported charity organisations that would help children and those in need: however, the company today focuses on promoting leftist values.
Breitbart News reports:
In recent years, however, the focus of the Foundation has drifted away from just helping children toward promoting left-wing political issues.
Examples of such funding include a direct grant to George Soros’s Open Society Institute, which received $200,000 from the Foundation to “eliminate racial inequities in the juvenile justice system and promote racial healing through community-based conferences, policy changes, and communication strategies.”
Corporations such as Kellogg’s, who now impose their values on Americans, is yet another force adding to the divisiveness in America recently.

Conservative values are under attack as more public companies are bought out by Democratic elitists who discriminate against rightist views."

Not only are Kelloggs products processed and not healthy, it is also a concern that their profits support immoral agendas including homosexuality.

The nonprofit arm of Kellogg’s – America’s cereal and sweets giant – is reportedly a major donor to the Leftist billionaire George Soro’s Open Society Institute and the ultra-liberal Tides Center.

Listed as the seventh largest philanthropic foundation in the United States, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation also registers as one of the largest institutional funders in the world – with most of its assets going to causes on the far Left.

Not the same Kellogg’s… Tapping into the proceeds made from popular household brands such as Frosted Flakes, Eggo waffles, Pop Tarts and Special K, the Battle Creek, Michigan-based foundation used to donate its profits to help the average American – not overtly progressive special interest groups.

“As the United States sunk into the [Great] Depression [of 1929], W.K. Kellogg declared, ‘I’ll invest in people,’” the W.K. Kellogg Foundation’s website states. “He split shifts and hired new employees to work them. He also founded the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, whose mission – to help children realize their potential – complements that of the Kellogg Company to this day.”

To the chagrin of many conservatives today, the Foundation has drastically shifted from its founding principles of helping children – as championing anti-family, politically correct agendas with its pocketbook is now the name of the game for the nonprofit charity.

“Examples of such funding include a direct grant to George Soros’s Open Society Institute, which received $200,000 from the Foundation to ‘eliminate racial inequities in the juvenile justice system and promote racial healing through community-based conferences, policy changes and communication strategies,’” Breitbart reports. “Two other far-Left groups, the Tides Center and Tides Foundation – both based in San Francisco – are also top recipients of funds and support from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. A search of the grants given by the Foundation for ‘Tides’ yields over 120 results.”

Somewhat ambiguous at the surface …Donating $2,150,000 to the Tides Center last month, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation insisted the lucrative amount was given to “scale up farm-to-school benefits for vulnerable children through continued expansion to early care and education sites and diversification of partnerships, ensuring equitable access and institutionalization.”

A $380,000 grant given earlier this year to Tides by the Foundation was said to “provide updated publications/tools describing the state of grantmaking with a racial equity/racial justice lens, including insights to support grantmaking considerations at the program officer and institutional levels, through support of the Philanthropic Initiative for Racial Equity.”

Portraying the programs as being beneficiaries to the oppressed, the descriptions do a good job of masking the extreme political activism behind the groups that are being funded.

One such instance is George Soros’ vision for “open societies,” which is more candidly described by the conservative news media.

“Soros’s charitable contributions can be characterized as “pro-one world government, pro-abortion, pro-government controlled media, pro-drug and even pro-euthanasia and against the very institutions that stand for traditional values such as family and faith,’” Fox News reported.’

Deep ties.. It is pointed out that the true relationship between Tides and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation is about much more than money gifts – but about changing the political and social landscape of the entire world.

“In a section of the Tides website called ‘Expanding Your Reach,’ Tides explains to community organizers and would-be grant recipients how they can be part of a ‘partnership’ with the W.K. Kellogg Foundation and other top institutional Left funders to get more of the billions of dollars available for issues ranging from elections to immigration reform and foreign policy,” Breitbart’s Lee Stranahan informed.

Tides describes its inner-workings ambiguously, at best. “In partnership with institutions like The California Endowment, The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, Open Society Foundations, W.K. Kellogg Foundation, Gates Foundation, Ford Foundation, and many others, we have granted hundreds of millions of dollars,” its website states. “With Tides, your foundation can ease administrative burden, expand programmatic capacity, collaborate effectively, and increase the impact of your grantmaking programs.”

But in fact, a more candid rendition of Tides’ activism shows that it sponsors everything President Barack Obama and other Left-leaning politicians fight for on a daily basis,

“Tides is a platform for funding collaboratives that address issues as diverse as global disability rights, election administration reform, and state-based LGBT advocacy,” Stranahan asserted. “Funders also start innovative programs with Tides that cross multiple issues, such as the integration of reproductive health with AIDS/HIV treatment in Africa. Tides also provides vehicles to support funding advocacy on critical policy issues like immigration reform, health care and U.S. foreign policy.”

Founded 40 years ago, Tides links back to the same controversial organization that President Barack Obama served with back in Illinois – years before moving into the White House.

“One important institutional Left figure who is part of Tides is Wade Rathke, whose official biography on his own blog lists him as ‘founder of ACORN, chief organizer at ACORN International, author of Citizen Wealth, Global Grassrootsand The Battle for the 9th Ward,’” Stranahan noted.

The biographical account goes further highlight Rathke’s involvement in far-Left endeavors.

“Wade is also the Chair of the Organizers’ Forum, which brings together labor and community organizers for two dialogues per year – one domestic and one international,” the description reads. “The Organizers’ Forum is a project of the Tides Center. Wade was a founding board member of the Tides Foundation and continues to serve as senior advisor of the San Francisco-based organization and for a number of their entities including the Paradox Fund and Frontera Fund.”

Coming out of the cereal box …Only hints of the extreme Leftist leaning of Kellogg’s have been given through its advertising.

“In 2014, the Kellogg Company was criticized by some for an ad featuring its Frosted Flakes Tony the Tiger character saying, ‘Wear your stripes with pride,’ to promote the company’s sponsorship of a gay pride march in Atlanta, Georgia,” Spanahan pointed out.

Playing the race card has also been an integral part of the Foundation’s giving.

“The W.K. Kellogg Foundation has put over $75,000,000 into an initiative to “combat structural racism in America,” Breitbart reported earlier.

According to the nonprofit’s website, it is deeply entrenched in supporting a wide array of Leftist causes – ranging from the LGBT agenda to the federal funding of just about everything in America.

“Since the birth of America, racial privilege and structural inequities have influenced the nation’s policies and social systems, from healthcare, education and child welfare to media, food consumption, justice and countless other facets of everyday life,” the online article reads. “In America, those who differ from the majority because of race, color, sexual orientation, religion, gender, weight and other characteristics face a deluge of outright discrimination and unconscious bias.”

http://constitution.com/facebook-use-le ... ews-sites/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

"With the left’s newest war cry of “fake news” now always at the ready to deploy as a weapon to quash any right of center news outlet, Facebook has announced that it will use three left-of-center organizations to “review” conservative sites to see if they are producing “fake news.”
Facebook insists it is doing its part to torpedo those “fake news” sites that so many liberals claim gave Trump the White House. But this is all just a smoke screen.
In fact, this effort has nothing whatever to do with making sure “news” is truthful. All it really is, is just another attempt by liberals to re-instate their once indisputable status as the “gatekeepers” of the media, an assumption that created a screening process through which only their approved, liberal “news” could get past. It was this “gatekeeping” wall that caused the loss of Vietnam, for instance, as the entirety of the liberal media lied to Americans that the war was lost and the U.S. should get out of Vietnam despite that the U.S. military won nearly every engagement it ever entered into during that conflict.
Facebook is being fueled by calls from such losers as Hillary Clinton who wants to quash the “fake news” that got Trump elected. Early in December, the two-time losing Democrat presidential candidate delivered a speech assailing “malicious” fake news hyperbolically claiming that its growth has “put lives at risk.”
And so, according to The Wall Street Journal, “Facebook said it has identified several markers of sites that consistently peddle fake news, and it will demote posts from those sites in people’s news feeds.”
But the social media giant is not quite setting itself up as the sole arbiter of which conservatives sites should be banned from any list of legitimate news sources.
It is also eliciting the help of three liberal “fact checking” groups to help out.
“The fact-checking organizations — Snopes.com, PolitiFact, ABC News, Factcheck.org and the Associated Press — will sift through the problematic stories to determine if they are fake,” the Journal reported.
Facebook chief Mark Zuckerberg, a huge donor to Hillary Clinton and a well-known left-winger who pushes illegal immigrant “rights,” posted about his company’s new policy on Thursday saying in part, “Facebook is a new kind of platform different from anything before it. I think of Facebook as a technology company, but I recognize we have a greater responsibility than just building technology that information flows through.”
“While we don’t write the news stories you read and share, we also recognise we’re more than just a distributor of news,” Zuckerberg continued. “We’re a new kind of platform for public discourse — and that means we have a new kind of responsibility to enable people to have the most meaningful conversations, and to build a space where people can be informed.”
Naturally, as soon as the new policies were announced, the news was met with alarm from the very people Facebook is looking to destroy, namely anyone with an opinion that tends center right.
A list of conservative writers and pundits reacted with grave suspicion of the left-wing Zuckerberg’s decision to use left-wing organizations to determine what news is “fake.”
“This is a disaster for news coverage,” wrote the Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro. “It’s an attempt to restore gatekeepers who have a bias as the ultimate arbiters of truth. If these organizations begin questioning articles and penalising outlets for simple political disagreements rather than outright factual falsities, conservatives will have to go elsewhere for their news.”
Shapiro also pointed out another problem the media has. For instance, it reported as straight and factual news everything Senate Democrat leader Harry Reid ever uttered despite the fact that Reid is a notorious liar. Even as it is provably true that Reid lied on the floor of the Senate day and and day out, the media always uncritically reported his words as if they were all true.
After all, it is as much what the liberal media leaves out as what they actually say.
Other conservatives also remarked on Facebook’s new effort to screen out “fake news.” Mark Hemingway, a writer at the conservative Weekly Standard had a visceral reaction to the Facebook announcement writing simply, “OH HELL NO.”
Seth Mandel, an op ed editor at the New York Post, also slammed the move in a Thursday tweet saying, “Smart leftist propaganda: They call their partisan opinion bloggers “fact checkers” so when you argue they say ‘look, they object to facts'”
And they are right to worry over Facebook’s decision to become the arbiter of what is allowable discourse in America. After all, during the late campaign for president the website Gizmodo.com reported that Facebook’s trending news team — the group of humans who were responsible for creating the Facebook lists of hot news stories — were all liberals who had purposefully kept stories from conservative news sites off their list.
So, why should anyone believe that Facebook will be fair and balanced with this newest effort to quash news Facebook doesn’t like? Especially considering the fact that a liberal’s idea of what constitutes “fake news” is highly suspect to begin with. As I wrote a few days ago, the left invented fake news long before there even were any politically conservative news outlets out there to counter the left’s lies.
Sadly, the “news” media is entirely programed by fake news. Since the advent of the Internet a handful of liberal groups powered by Clinton-aligned leftists have determined what the media report on. The websites Media Matters for America, Alter-Net, the Daily Kos, Think Progress And Huffington Post have set the ground rules for what other media outlets will cover. These site publish stories that suddenly become the party line on the rest of the news from the big three TV networks to newspapers like The New York Times and magazines like Time.
Certainly Zuckerberg’s problem is that he is preparing to let three left-wing “fact checkers” become his researchers. All three of the “fact checking” organizations Zuckerberg has hired have been caught peddling left-wing opinion as “facts.” And this in and of itself is undermining good journalism.
“By undermining media credibility with opinion disguised as objective truth-telling, “fact-checkers” have actually widened the trust gap between audiences and newsrooms,” the Washington Examiner’s T. Becket Adams wrote Wednesday.
Adams went on to quote Current Affairs’ Nathan Robinson:
“Fact-checking” websites “are ostensibly dedicated to promoting objective truth over eye-of-the-beholder lies, but … often simply serve as mouthpieces for centrist orthodoxies, thereby further delegitimizing the entire notion of ‘fact’ itself,” he wrote. “[W]ebsites like PolitiFact frequently disguise opinion and/or bulls—t as neutral, data-based inquiry.”
He continued, adding, “such websites frequently produce meaningless statistics, such as trying to measure the percentage of a candidate’s statements that are false.”
“Fact-checkers [frequently] claim that while claims may literally be true, they are nevertheless false for giving ‘misleading’ impressions or missing crucial context,” he added.
This creates an obvious problem.
“The fact-checkers might think that by going beyond the literal meaning of statements, and evaluating the impressions they leave, they are in fact doing a greater service to truth and reality,” he wrote. “In fact, they are opening the door to a far more subjective kind of work, because evaluating perceptions requires a lot more interpretation than evaluating the basic truth or falsity of a statement. It thereby creates far more room for bias and error to work their way into the analysis.”
Sadly, the very “fact checkers” that Facebook is claiming should be the arbiters of what should be allowed to be seen by the American people have been caught lying to push liberalism in their “fact checking.”
Snopes, for instance, has been caught repeatedly pushing left-wing ideology and liberal talking points as “facts.” Jus to name a few cases, this year the site was caught trying to cover for the lack of American flags at the Democrat National Convention. In another case it played semantic games to let Hillary off the hook for defending a child rapist when she was a young lawyer. And in yet another case, Snopes was found lying about Obama’s Iran ransom payments in order to give Obama cover for his lies.
PolitiFact is no different. It has been caught numerous times pushing a liberal agenda as “fact” and using its platform illegitimately to smear Republicans as liars. PolitiFact has been caught lying about Hillary Clinton’s gun control agenda, Lying about Donald Trump, and was even caught trying to hide the fact that it originally rated as “true” Obama’s wild lie that we could keep our doctors and healthcare plans if we liked them — a claim that was proven to be an outright lie once Obamacare was passed and nearly everyone’s insurance was canceled and/or materially altered (and for the worse in every case).
So, these are the organizations that Mark Zuckerberg and Fakebook intend to use to quash right of center news sites."

http://www.wnd.com/2016/12/secret-isis- ... -holidays/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

"The Islamic State has allegedly published a secret list in Arabic of thousands of churches in all 50 states and called on its followers to attack them during the holidays.
ISIS, according to a report by Vocativ.com, posted the list late Wednesday night in the group’s “Secrets of Jihadis” social media group using the encrypted app Telegram.
A user going by the name of “Abu Marya al-Iraqi” posted an Arabic-language message calling “for bloody celebrations in the Christian New Year” and announced the group’s plans to utilize its network of lone wolf attackers to “turn the Christian New Year into a bloody horror movie,” Vocative reported.
The names and addresses, distributed in a number of posts, were all previously available online and include a public directory of churches across all 50 states.
‘Sons of Islam’ exhorted to attack large gatherings
In another group post, a member summoned “the sons of Islam” to target “churches, well-known hotels, crowded coffee shops, streets, markets and public places,” and shared a list of addresses in the United States, as well as in Canada, France and the Netherlands.
Of course, none of this should come as a surprise. Last month, the St. Peter and St. Paul chapel of the Coptic Christian Church in Cairo, Egypt, was bombed by Muslims, killing 25 Copts and injuring several more.
In July, an elderly Catholic priest had his throat slit on the altar while he was saying mass in Normandy, France. ISIS claimed responsibility for that attack by two of its “soldiers.”
Then on Monday, a Christmas market was targeted by a Muslim jihadist from Tunisia who stole a truck and rammed it into the crowded market. Christmas, as a Christian holiday, is a symbol of Europe’s and America’s Christian identity, regardless of whether many Christians in these countries still take their faith seriously, terrorism experts say.
ISIS claimed responsibility for the Christmas market attack in Berlin that killed 12 and injured 48, while the suspected jihadist, a Muslim migrant who entered Europe from Tunisia, is still on the loose.

Surveillance of churches reported

Former FBI counter-terrorism agent John Guandolo’s Understanding the Threat blog has received reports in the last several weeks from law enforcement, pastors and citizens that Muslims are conducting pre-operation surveillance inside U.S. churches during services.
The information received by UTT from multiple states indicates the manner of the surveillance is similar in each case.
Guandolo says two Muslim males will enter during the service and sit together in the back of the church. They will often take pictures and record video. When approached by concerned ushers, they will either tell their questioners they are “interested” in becoming Christians or they will run.
“This information has been passed to the appropriate law enforcement officials, and UTT is aware of a joint investigation between local police and the FBI in at least one of the cases,” according to Guandolo.
One planned attack already foiled… In February, the FBI interrupted a plot to pull off a mass shooting at one of Detroit’s largest Catholic churches in a case reported by WND involving a Muslim convert, Sebastian Gregerson, who had amassed an arsenal of military-grade weapons including AK-47s, a howitzer and tactical knives similar to those used by ISIS. Gregerson, who changed his name to Abu-Rayyan, reportedly received money to acquire the weapons from an imam in Maryland. Court documents showed the FBI was concerned that imams could be financing similar plots around the country.
Dr. Mark Christian grew up in a prominent Muslim family in Egypt and converted to Christianity as an adult.
Dr. Mark Christian, a former Muslim imam from Egypt and expert on the Muslim Brotherhood, said churches need to take precautions.
Big churches will be seen as the most prime targets, he said, as ISIS will be looking for the highest number of casualties they can inflict.
“To be honest, in every place where there are public gatherings, there are metal detectors at the front, and I hate to say it but I feel it is time for movie theaters and churches too, they need to have that, to detect guns and knives and explosives … I think it’s time to do it,” said Dr. Christian, who changed his name from Muhammad Abdullah and converted to Christianity in 2005.
“It’s going to be very expensive for a smaller church, so you have to have volunteers in those churches,” he said, adding that these volunteers should be proficient in defensive actions up to and including handgun usage.
“Metal detectors are not expensive for larger congregations, and they are a must at this time, along with trained volunteers” he said. “You are talking about a couple of grand for a metal detector, but they will save lives.
“We live in a time where, even if you are going Christmas shopping, you need to pack heat when you go. This is not the way you should have to live,” he added. “But we have awakened the giant. We give them the space to run and to expand, so I hate to say it but this is the beginning of this kind of threat.”
The invasion of Iraq and Obama promoting radical Sunni religious regimes in Syria, Egypt and Libya have helped to awaken the sleeping giant, but Christian says that’s not the only problem. After all, America was attacked on 9/11 even before the invasion of Iraq.
The biggest problem is the Islamic texts and Muslims who are taught to emulate their seventh-century prophet, Muhammad, a warlord who is seen as the “perfect man.” He advocated taking slaves, raping women, torturing and slaughtering men and taught that Islam was to reign supreme over all other religions whenever the numbers in a society were in favor of Islam. Christians and Jews, if they were allowed to live at all, were to be subjugated as second-class “dhimmis.”
Until imams stop teaching doctrines modeled after the seventh-century warlord’s example, violent jihad will always be a problem, he said.
“So there has to be a multi-level approach to fix this problem. You can use extreme vetting and require a strict assimilation, cleansing the educational and religious institutions of Islam of radical elements,” he said. “You can’t do one and not the other, or it will just get worse.”
Too many foreign imams entering U.S.?
“If you do extreme vetting and let the imams preach hatred in the mosques, they are going to create more feelings of victimhood, and you will have more attacks,” Christian said. “You have to block those not worthy of coming here, and then you have to set some rules and regulations on the institution of Islam itself. I would recommend educational programs for imams to understand our Constitution and what America stands for. Then you have to monitor the religious leaders who come here from other countries to preach.”
Christian said nearly 70 percent of the clergy in American mosques are supplied from countries in the Middle East. Most come from Egypt’s Al Azhar University, but some also come from Saudi Arabia, Syria and other nations.
“This is the way imams want to make some money and come to America. The Coptic Church does the same thing, but we don’t have a problem with the Coptic Church,” he said. “For an imam to be an imam, he has to study Islamic law from a university. … Harvard and a few other places have these Islamic studies programs, but the majority come from Egypt and some from Saudi Arabia.”

"After tweets, news articles, and even petitions questioned the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's participation in the inaugural celebration, Church spokesman Eric Hawkins made an announcement in response.

The Mormon Tabernacle Choir, dubbed "America's Choir" by Ronald Reagan during his first inauguration, will sing at Donald Trump's inauguration on Jan. 20, the president-elect's team and the choir announced Thursday morning. Trump's polarizing campaign and history, however, left the LDS Church trying to balance strong reactions of pride in the choir's participation in a meaningful act of American pageantry and patriotism with a backlash of anger that it might be seen as a statement of support for the controversial president-elect.

“Response to the announcement has been mixed, with people expressing both opposition and support," church spokesman Eric Hawkins said in a statement. "The choir's participation continues its long tradition of performing for U.S. presidents of both parties at inaugurations and in other settings, and is not an implied support of party affiliations or politics. It is a demonstration of our support for freedom, civility and the peaceful transition of power.”

"Apparently unbeknownst to liberals, black criminality is a huge problem that needs to be dealt with far more expeditiously than alleged inequities of the criminal justice system.

But the media fails to report black-on-white crime like the vicious murder by Tyfine Hamilton and Brandon Smith, both 15, of upstanding Philidelphia family man 51-year-old James Patrick Stuhlman.

He was discovered by police on the night of March 12, lying in a pool of blood alongside his heartbreakingly frightened dog, who according to Lt. John Walker appeared to be in complete shock.Stuhlman had been out walking the poor pup, when the teens, including a yet unidentified 14-year-old, grew bored from a game of basketball and decided to rob a random stranger. They chose Stuhlman, who proceeded to beg for his life.

“He said, ‘Please don’t shoot me, please don’t shoot me,’ and they still shot him one more time,” Philadelphia Police Captain James Clark said at a news conference Thursday.

Had his 13-year-old daughter, who usually accompanied him on walks, also been present, she would likely also be dead right now. Thankfully, Stuhlman had urged her to remain home because it had been getting late outside. Two of the suspects have since been apprehended, but a third one, Tyrine Hamilton, still remains at large and is suspected to be “armed and dangerous.”

Mad World reported that “the teens have all been in trouble with the law in the past.”

So what we have here is yet another case of bored, undisciplined and out-of-control black teens causing mayhem and thus not only ruining their own lives — but also ruining the lives of others, including Stuhlman’s daughter, who must now live her life without a father.

Yet the slimy liberal mainstream media shamelessly shuns this story, because God forbid they stop paying attention to fake cases of so-called racial discriminationand start paying attention to real cases of black-on-white crime."

"2016 has been one of significant accomplishments for AFA, and highlights include:
Launching the Target Boycott, over 1.4 million people joined AFA’s boycott of the nation’s second largest retailer. The boycott was initiated after the retailer publicized its policy to allow men to use women’s restrooms and changing facilities.
Informing and equipping the electorate, AFA offered resources, information, and tools necessary for Christian citizens to impact the political process.
Expansion of American Family Radio, AFR began broadcasting to a potential 2.5 million more listeners through new radio stations in Baton Rouge, Houma, and New Orleans, Louisiana; Corpus Christi, Texas; Jacksonville, Florida; Lexington, Kentucky; Memphis, Tennessee; and Montgomery, Alabama.
Producing a landmark documentary. By the end of this year, American Family Studios will complete the first production phase of a landmark feature-length documentary titled The God Who Speaks.
If you want to see just how effective AFA has been this year, you can read about our numerous successful campaigns here in our report "It's never too late to do what's right."
The Lord has called us to make a difference in the culture, to stand for His truth and His righteousness.
AFA is one of a small handful of groups actually fighting back against the secularists and the humanists in an organised fashion and making a real difference."

"Throughout history, many dog breeds have come and gone. Some disappeared when the work they were bred to do was no longer needed. Others gradually morphed into easily recognizable modern day breeds. Here are just a few examples:

Alpine Mastiff

The extinct Alpine Mastiff is an ancestor of today's Saint Bernard, and a significant contributor to the modern Mastiff and other closely related breeds.

The names Alpine Mastiff and Saint Bernard were used to describe the same group of dogs in the early 19th century. The Alpine Mastiff was one of the earliest giant dog breeds and one of the first true mastiffs, originating in northern Europe before 500 B.C.

It is believed some of these dogs reached nearly 40 inches at the shoulder and weighed as much as 350 pounds or more — larger than both the modern Saint Bernard and English Mastiff.

Chien-gris

The extinct Chien-gris, also known as the Gris de Saint-Louis (Grey St. Louis Hound), originated in medieval times. The breed was known to be headstrong and willing to pursue quarry to their death. By the 19th century, the Chien-gris was impossible to find.

Dogo Cubano

The extinct Dogo Cubano, also known as the Cuban Mastiff, originated in Cuba. This rare breed was developed from several varieties of bulldogs, mastiffs and cattle dogs. The Dogo Cubano was bred to capture runaway slaves (cimarrones) in Cuba. After the abolition of slavery, the breed ceased to exist.

Russian Tracker

The extinct Russian Tracker, also called the Russian Retriever, was a domestic dog used for hundreds of years to protect and herd flocks of sheep. The Tracker stood as high as 30 inches at the shoulder and weighed up to 100 pounds or more. Despite their size, these dogs were fast and flexible, able to defend their flocks from wolves and other predators. The Russian Tracker was also an intelligent dog. His closest surviving descendent is the Golden Retriever.

Tahltan Bear Dog

The probably extinct Tahltan Bear Dog was indigenous to Canada, and was bred to hunt bear. Small and light, these dogs could move quickly over packed snow following bear tracks. The Tahltan Bear Dog was friendly and gentle with people and small animals, and lived in tents with their humans.

There are no known living descendants of the breed past the 1960s to 1970s, and no modern breeds have any known genetic relationship with the Tahltan Bear Dog.”

He certainly could have, but David picked up the stones. David worked the sling. David cut off Goliath's head. He did those things with faith God would help him, but it was David's work. God may have helped guide the stone, but it was David who took the steps he did, in faith.

"Throughout 2016 I wrote several articles in defense of the Restored Gospel. They attracted quite a bit of attention from both the LDS and ex-Mormon communities. I received more hate mail than you could imagine, while also getting to hear from sincere brothers and sisters in both camps.
But nothing I have written can hold a candle to what I am about to share.
This time, I’m not really going to defend the Restoration, so much as I intend to expose what anti-Mormonism is and what its objectives really are.
Sometimes we just need a good dose of clear hard truth, to see why the doubts that sometimes seem so monumental are more illusion than anything else.
I know that we are used to reading a lot of fluffy and light-hearted articles, but I’m asking you to buckle your seat-belt and read this post carefully. There’s an important “aha” moment in point #4 that you won’t experience unless you’ve carefully read everything that comes before it.
So, let’s get to it:

1. There’s Only One Credible Alternative to the Restored Gospel
Most members have probably never considered what they would do if they lost their testimonies of the Restoration. Would they still be Christians? Would they convert to Presbyterianism or Catholicism? You might expect so, but in reality ex-Mormons generally can’t find a believable Christian alternative to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
It is simply impossible to leave the Restored Gospel for another version of Christianity without realizing that you have lost so many of its essential elements. What happened to prophets, revelation, temples, priesthood authority, the plan of salvation, the doctrine of Eternal Man, etc.? And how could the God of the Bible suddenly decide that everyone should be free to interpret scripture as they wish, creating a church for every opinion?
Perhaps even more important, however, is that basically every reason to doubt Mormonism is a good reason to doubt Christianity. Not enough archaeological evidence of the Book of Mormon? Feel like some of the archaeological evidence might contradict the Book of Mormon? The same is true of the Bible.
Don’t like polygamy or that two of Joseph’s plural wives were 20 years his junior? You’ll see the same trend for the prophets of old.
Joseph Smith offends Western sensibility? Not nearly as badly as prophets such as Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Joshua. A quick gander at the Old Testament shows that Joseph Smith has a relatively immaculate record (based on Western standards) compared to many of the prophets who came before him.
And so we find that arguments against Joseph Smith are really arguments against all the prophets—the messengers from whom we learn of Christ and of whom Christ testified. Which is why everyone I know who has left the Church has become some version of an Atheist. And it is why a large poll of ex-Mormons found that fewer than 1 in 10 ex-Mormons convert to another Christian religion.
You see, at first they decide that Joseph Smith couldn’t have possibly been called by Christ. Then they find that they can no longer believe that Christ is really the Son of God.
So, for LDS members (particularly RMs and life-long members), Christianity itself hinges upon the question, “Was Joseph Smith really a prophet?” When Joseph Smith’s role as prophet is called into question, so is Christ’s role as the Redeemer.
Anti-Mormonism isn’t just about getting people to lose faith in our Church, it’s about getting people to lose faith in God, in Christ, in revelation, in religion. Once you’ve tasted the sweetest and most perfect form of Christianity, where else will you go when you leave? If you really understand the teachings of the Restored Gospel, deciding that Mormonism is false means accepting some form of Atheism (including Agnosticism, Humanism, and Non-religious spiritualism).

2. Crises of Faith in LDS Communities Are Really Just a Symptom of a Larger Problem
*Note: When I refer to Atheism in the rest of this article I also refer to its cousins—Agnosticism, Naturalism, Humanism, etc.
There are many critics who love highlighting the Latter-day Saints who choose to leave the Church. They say that the rest of us are in denial, that we belong to some kind of crazy and fraudulent cult and have our heads too deep in the sand to see how many people are drawing that very conclusion.
They want us to look at our friends and family members who are leaving the Church and feel alerted to the idea that there is something wrong with the Mormon Church.
But if you look at the extensive survey data PEW has collected on religion in the U.S.—what you see is that like never before, people (especially Millennials) are abandoning the religion they grew up in.
While Mormons are much more likely than other Christians to become Atheists when they leave their childhood faith, the number of Christians who are becoming unaffiliated with religion is growing dramatically.
The most concerning trend is among Millennials:
Across the board (in LDS and other Christian Churches), approximately 1 in 3 Millennials are leaving the faith they were raised in for something else. For Mormon Millennials, that something else is generally a form of Atheism, and for other Millennials it is largely a mix of Atheism and Non-Denominationalism (what you might call a gateway to Atheism).
So, to be clear, it’s not that we have discovered new information about Joseph Smith that has suddenly changed a lot of people’s minds about the Restoration. The criticisms you hear today are the same criticisms that have been peddled for decades and longer.
No, crises of faith aren’t a Mormon problem. They’re a Humankind problem, a civilizational problem. Faith itself is weakening in Western society.
Perhaps we have learned so much through science that we feel silly relying on beliefs that we can’t confirm scientifically. Perhaps with all the temptations that abound, it’s just easier not having to worry about a God who will hold us accountable for our choices. Perhaps it is something else.
But what I do know is that before He died, Christ told a parable about relying on God versus relying on man. Luke writes that the purpose of this parable is to remind us to “pray always and not faint.” And after telling the parable, Christ asks, perhaps with sadness in his voice: “When the Son of Man cometh, will he find faith on the Earth?”
Maybe we’re starting to witness what Christ was concerned about when he posed that question.
So, why might the Adversary lay the foundation for plunging Western society into Atheism? The reason goes deeper than you may have ever expected.
Now that we understand the central role that Atheism is playing in the crises of faith for both Mormons and other Christians, it’s time to understand the profound implications.

3. Post-Modern Atheism Is Paving the Way for a New and Destructive Moral Order
To be clear, people who become Atheists don’t suddenly become moral monsters. Their moral views shift, but they probably have more in common with the moral beliefs of their religious friends than they have in contrast.
However, one of the problems with the rise of Atheism is that it comes with delayed consequences. Like the frog in the pot of water who doesn’t jump out because the heat only gradually rises, most Atheists are unaware of where their belief system will lead society.
The reason for this is simply that most Atheists have had a religious upbringing and live in an environment that has been deeply influenced by Christianity. It is one thing to reject revealed religion, and another to abandon mindsets, attitudes, and values which you don’t even realize have been socialized into you since birth. Thus, many Atheists don’t realize that while they have rejected God, everything about the way they see the world is still deeply influenced by religion.
For now, many Atheists can look around and say “we are freed from the foolish traditions of our fathers” and feel content that nothing drastic has changed in the process. But in the long-run, much will change in a society driven by Atheism.
Fortunately, following the logic of Atheism to its natural conclusions is far from an impossible task.
For 150 years, pioneering Atheist thinkers and philosophers have been describing the moral order that naturally emerges from post-modern Atheism. Among post-modern thinkers—both Atheists and Theists—there isn’t a lot of disagreement about the general direction that Atheism will take us.

So, this is what we know:
For thousands of years, morality has been based on beliefs about human purpose, the immortality of the soul, and other transcendent truths—all beliefs that are religious in nature, as they cannot be scientifically evaluated. However, post-modern Atheism rejects all of these notions, in the long-term, for the same reason that it rejects religion—they cannot be studied or confirmed by scientific inquiry.
Instead, Atheism replaces the foundations of morality with what can be seen, heard, touched, or otherwise measured. Since this eliminates notions of God and the interplay between good and evil, we can stop looking outward to ask, “what do God’s laws or the Universe’s laws require of us?” And instead, we can begin looking inward and ask more fully than ever before, “wait, what do I want?”
Rather than morality being driven by belief in standards of right and wrong, good and evil, and other such dualisms, morality will eventually be driven solely by human desires, cravings, and impulses—as these are actually palpable. Simply put, society will be governed completely by what individuals think they want and need—as opposed to a sense of duty and obligation to some higher truth about good and evil or directives from Heaven.
To understand what all this means, we must identify the principal need that drives human sociality. The answer, according to the great thinkers of the ages is this: respect. More than anything else, people crave respect. They may want sex, but sex from someone who thinks nothing of you is unsatisfying. They may desire love, but to be loved by someone who doesn’t see you as an equal is demeaning. They may crave empathy, but without respect, there is no real empathy.
The reason that status, wealth, and power all matter so much to so many people is because they gain you the respect of others.
This desire for respect is the same reason that studies have shown that people would rather take a low salary if it is higher than most of their peers rather than accept a high salary that is lower than their peers. They would rather struggle financially than be the low man on the social totem pole. They value respect over even money.
And why did Cain commit the first murder? Because Cain couldn’t stand that God “had respect unto Abel and to his offering. But unto Cain and to his offering [God] had not respect.”
This powerful desire for respect is held in check by a belief in God, but it is unleashed once the last vestiges of religious influence are eliminated from society.
To understand what I mean by this, consider the recent campaign to legalize same-sex marriage. Proponents of same-sex marriage loudly proclaimed that “love wins.” But this was never about love. Same-sex couples already had the right to love whomever they wanted. They could have been content with anti-discrimination laws or civil unions, but it wasn’t enough. No, what they really wanted was for their union to be just as respected as anyone else’s. Marriage was an honor afforded only to heterosexual couples and same-sex couples were going to feel slighted until that changed.
You see, when people begin rejecting moral codes (because they are based on transcendent truths), they shift from feeling ashamed about falling short of moral standards and become angry that anyone would condemn their actions in the first place. They begin to feel indignant that any person or institution in society would dare to say that one choice, one lifestyle, or one belief has greater moral merit than another.
The consequence is that society begins to gravitate around radical equality. That is, people will fight and fight until society cannot and will not recognize that any choice is better than another, that any lifestyle, belief, or action has more moral merit than another.
Post-modern Atheist philosophers, following the logic of Atheism, say that all differences, such as gender and family hierarchy must be eliminated in the process. They claim that once the forces of radical equality are unleashed upon the old system of traditional morality and institutions, our world will be transformed into something that even they cannot fully conceive.
What is clear, is that every time society allows one choice, one lifestyle, one belief to be honored above another, someone must feel dishonored. And nothing creates more anger and unrest than to be dishonored, to be respected less than your peers. And so, an Atheist society will continue to struggle and struggle under the banner of equality until the world cannot tell a moral difference between two choices.

4. The Book of Mormon Powerfully Responds to This Mindset
Do you remember when Lehi says “There must needs be an opposition in all things”? Latter-day Saints often associate that sermon with the purpose of trials and hardship. But there is far more to it than that.
In a recent conference talk, Elder Oaks affirmed that Lehi wasn’t just talking about opposition in the sense of difficulty, but more particularly about opposition in the sense of differences, or opposites.
With that understanding, watch how Lehi’s words respond to the goal of post-modern Atheism:
“And to bring about [God’s] eternal purposes in the end of man…it must needs be that there was an opposition; even the forbidden fruit in opposition to the tree of life…Wherefore, the Lord God gave unto man that he should act for himself. [But] man could not act for himself save it should be that he was enticed by the one or the other.”
Lehi explains that for agency to work, man must not only have freedom, but choices. The goal of Atheism, however, is to destroy the moral distinction between choices. Or, in other words, the goal of Atheism is to destroy the agency of man. At least, to the extent possible. Ultimately, this is what anti-Mormonism intends to accomplish.
“For it must needs be, that there is an opposition in all things. If not so, righteousness could not be brought to pass, neither wickedness, neither holiness nor misery, neither good nor bad. Wherefore, all things must needs be a compound in one; wherefore, if it should be one body it must needs remain as dead, having…neither happiness nor misery, neither sense nor insensibility.
“Wherefore, this thing must needs destroy the wisdom of God and his eternal purposes…”

5. An Important and Final Conclusion
If you have struggled with doubt, or you know someone who has…so too, have apostles and prophets before they became such. Doubt is not faced by the weak alone.
I have personally experienced overwhelming doubt. In my darkest moments, when I felt like I was losing touch with reality—no longer knowing what was real and what was true—the only thing that enabled me to hold on a little longer, was what I just finished sharing in this article.
In my moments of desperation, this is what I imagine:
I see myself looking out into a dark and stormy world where two paths lie before me. I feel confused as to which I should take. I have no way of really knowing which path I would want to take, for I cannot be sure where either leads. As confusion settles in, I look to see where the path on the left seems to lead. As I look out into the distance, there appears to be a dark and horrific abyss. And it seems as if this path will lead me there.
But as I turn to the right, I look to see where the other path leads. There appears to be nothing in the distance. But suddenly, I see what looks like a flicker of light. It seems as though it might be just a small flame from a single candle stick. It’s hard to know if it’s just my imagination, but something tells me that it is real, and this fills me with hope.
Ultimately, I must decide to take one path or the other. Either way, the decision is really a question of faith: which path do I believe will lead me to where I want to go, which path will bring the happiness I seek? I am left to choose between the path that seems to lead to an immense abyss or the path that seems to lead to that flicker of light.
And as I have chosen to move closer to that flickering light, despite the confusion and doubt that sometimes assails, I invariably catch a better glimpse of the light, and I see that it is no candlelight, but a blazing star of gigantic proportions. Through the haze and darkness, it was just sometimes hard to see.

I add my testimony to millions of others that Christ lives. I have had too many experiences with both the flickering light and the blazing star to believe otherwise. I believe humankind has a purpose. I believe that there is a right and a wrong, and I believe that there is a God and an eternal law. And because of these things, I am a Latter-day Saint. For the alternative, is the Atheism that would guide our civilization into the abyss if ever we give it the chance.

It is unlawful to sell, trade or buy motor vehicles on a Sunday in Michigan due to religious reasons. According to the Wolverine State, time is better spent with family, friends or at church.

"Authorities have captured a violent gunman who went on a shooting rampage around 1pm today at the airport in in Fort Lauderdale. Five people were killed and at least eight others were wounded when gunman Esteban Santiago opened fire inside of the airport.
The shooting occurred in the baggage claim area of Terminal 2, and authorities are not yet assigning any motive to the attack. However, they are certain that Santiago acted alone and are not currently searching for any accomplices.
According to CNN, the gunman had flown into the airport with a gun checked in his baggage:

The suspect flew to Florida from Alaska, the sources said. When he arrived at the airport, he retrieved his bag at baggage claim, he took out the gun and started firing, the sources said. One source said he went to the bathroom to get the gun out of his luggage and emerged firing."

"After witnessing disarmed French civilians cowering before a few Islamists rampaging through Paris with illegal guns, top officials in the Czech Republic are determined to ensure that similar tragedies do not strike in their own country. Following recent comments by Czech President Miloš Zeman urging citizens to arm themselves in preparation for a potential “super-Holocaust” perpetrated by jihadists flooding into Europe, senior government ministers in the Eastern European nation are now proposing a constitutional change authorizing the use of firearms by citizens against terrorists. However, reports suggest the proposal might also be used as a vehicle to comply with unpopular and illegitimate new European Union decrees attacking gun rights and law-abiding gun owners.
The Czech Republic is already home to nearly a million “registered” guns, and has less infringements on gun rights than most European nations despite maintaining a list of gun owners. The right of citizens to defend themselves and their property using a firearm is already protected, too, with the stipulation being that the self-defense measures must be proportional to the threat. If approved, though, the change to the Czech Constitution would expand the authorization for the use of firearms to cover defense of the state as well, something that is included in many state constitutions in America. That would allow citizens to take action against terrorists in the event of an attack, even if the citizens were not directly threatened.
Citing recent jihad attacks in Europe that have produced hundreds of casualties using illegal guns, bombs, and even trucks, Czech officials say the public is rightly concerned. “The terrorist attacks we have seen in Western Europe and elsewhere have increased security concerns among the public,” said Czech Interior Minister Milan Chovanec, the man behind the proposed constitutional amendment to authorize citizens' armed defense of the state. “More Czechs are getting firearms licenses and I think that if the situation does not improve in the coming months, then the number of firearms holders will grow.” He is hoping for parliamentary approval of the changes ahead of elections in October.
The Czech Republic, like other Eastern European nations, has stood firm against the ongoing tsunami of Islamic migration swamping Western Europe. In fact, the nation is actually home to only a handful of Muslims: Estimates suggest that less than 5,000 Muslims reside in the nation of 10 million. And like several other like-minded governments, Czech authorities have been vehemently opposed to a plot pushed by the EU super-state to force national governments to accept a quota of Islamic refugees and migrants pouring into Europe from Africa and the Middle East.
However, the nation shares a border with Germany, which admitted millions of Muslim migrants just over the last few years, with more continuing to flood in on a daily basis. The Czech Republic also shares a border with Austria, another nation that has been flooded with Islamic migrants in recent years amid what political leaders said was a “treasonous conspiracy” by globalist “fanatics” to undermine Christianity, Western civilization, and the nation-state. And with internationalists having all but abolished borders across the continent, terrorists can and do easily travel throughout the EU bloc unmolested, making all EU member states vulnerable.
The growing danger led Czech President Zeman — a leftist politician and self-styled former communist — to warn that jihadist terrorists could seek to unleash a “super-Holocaust” against Europeans. “The experience of western European countries which have ghettos and excluded localities shows that the integration of the Muslim community is practically impossible,” he said in a TV interview, arguing that Muslim migrants needed to be sent home.
He has also compared Muslims to Nazi-era Germans — even if many are decent now, they can quickly be radicalized, he argued, drawing fire from critics. “The radicalization of the — until these times — moderate Muslim population might be like the case of the German population,” he argued, saying regular Germans became “Nazis, even fanatic Nazis,” in a period of just a few years. “It might be easier than the German population, [because] you have a very radical ideology based on a religion.”
While a far cry from the United States, where the inalienable right to keep and bear arms is protected from infringement by the U.S. Constitution and is considered necessary to the security of a free state, the Czech Republic has relatively few infringements on gun rights — at least compared to most of its more totalitarian-minded fellow EU member states. Today, a Czech citizen who is of age, without a criminal record, and who can pass a knowledge test can apply for and receive a “shall issue” firearms license. Hundreds of thousands of licenses are already in circulation, and the number is growing quickly.
Of course, those infringements are far more stringent than in most American states, few of which even require a license to exercise the fundamental human right to own a gun. But by European standards, Czech citizens enjoy a great deal of freedom when it comes to firearms. Following strict gun control imposed by mass-murdering National Socialist (Nazi) and Communist regimes, infringements on gun rights were drastically relaxed, to the point where the Czech Republic today has some of the least restrictions on civilian gun ownership in Europe. Having suffered under so much murderous tyranny, citizens largely understand the benefits of gun rights — though apparently the lesson about gun registration abuse has never sunk in. Like in the United States, gun sales in the nation have been soaring.
Speaking in August after a series of Islamist terror attacks rocked Europe, Zeman explained how his views on the subject of gun ownership had shifted over time. “I really think that citizens should arm themselves against terrorists,” he said in an interview, adding that if victims had been armed, they could have fought back. “And I honestly admit that I changed my mind, because previously I was against [citizens] having too many weapons. After these attacks, I don’t think so [anymore].” More terror attacks have happened since then, including one in Berlin last month in which a jihadist mowed over shoppers at a Christmas market.
But authorization for citizens to use firearms against terrorists is only part of the solution, according to Zeman and other Czech leaders. They say the Islamic “invasion” must be stopped and reversed. Zeman especially chastised radical German leader Angela Merkel, herself a “former” communist, for seeking to use the EU to coerce other nations into accepting the millions of Muslim migrants she invited in. “My first sentence in the meeting with Madam Chancellor was: If you invite somebody to your homeland, you do not send them for a lunch to your neighbors,” Zeman was quoted as saying in the far-left U.K. Guardian. “Very polite sentence, isn’t it?”
Despite opposing the German government's bid to export its rapidly growing Muslim population across Europe, Zeman has argued that what he called “an organized invasion” of Europe by the growing number of Muslims — including “moderate Muslims” — poses a major threat to the West. The Czech leader has also claimed that the Muslim Brotherhood, designated even by some hard-line Islamic dictatorships as a terrorist group, was the mastermind behind the “invasion” of Europe.
Zeman has said publicly that the Islamic migrants will never assimilate into European society and that they should be promptly deported, or at least housed on an uninhabited island until they can be returned home. “Let them have their culture in their countries and not take it to Europe, otherwise it will end up like Cologne,” he was quoted as saying, a reference to the mass sexual assault of women in the German city on New Year's Eve that authorities tried to cover up.
The seemingly pro-gun rights developments in the Czech Republic run counter to the trend across much of Europe, where governments and the EU have consistently exploited terror attacks and the immigration tsunami to curtail individual rights and liberties across the board. In fact, even the EU super-state, despite its lack of legitimacy and its lack of authority over gun rights, exploited the recent wave of jihad terror attacks to impose further infringements on citizens' rights to privacy, self-defense, and more. The EU has also exploited the attacks to further centralize power in Brussels.
In addition to opening its borders to the Third World under various guises, the EU has also viciously and lawlessly attacked the gun rights of all European citizens. Last month, citing terror attacks perpetrated by terrorists who ignore gun regulations and even murder laws, the unelected EU Commission released new decrees purporting to ban numerous firearms — including many that are in wide circulation in the Czech Republic and other EU nations. The scheme, which the Czech government opposed, also purports to require “psychological evaluations” for all gun owners, with the results entered into an international database.
Unsurprisingly, the EU's latest totalitarian demands are unpopular in the Czech Republic and other firearm-friendly nations. The Czech government voted against the new EU gun-control regime but was overruled by other, more totalitarian-minded governments and bureaucrats. And so, it seems, according to news reports, that certain Czech politicians are hoping to use the proposed constitutional changes authorizing citizens to fight terrorists as a tool to sneak the new EU decrees into law domestically. Whether they will succeed remains to be seen.
But with the explosion of terrorist attacks targeting helpless Europeans disarmed by their own governments, the surging public interest in guns and self-defense is likely to grow. Indeed, having witnessed the pathetic spectacle of hundreds of disarmed victims in Paris cowering in front of a few jihadists with illegal guns, more and more Europeans have been rushing to buy weapons for self-defense. And no matter what the EU decrees, the growing demand for guns, gun rights, and self-government is only going to keep escalating — perhaps culminating in the collapse of the totalitarian EU altogether."

Justin Trudeau promised to pursue a “constructive working relationship” with President-elect Donald Trump, but assured Canadians that he will continue to make equal rights a top issue for his own administration.

“Canada is a separate country from the United States and there are things that we hold dear that the Americans haven’t prioritized,” the Canadian prime minister said at a town hall event on Thursday. “I’m never going to shy away from standing up for what I believe in, whether it’s proclaiming loudly to the world that I am a feminist, whether it’s understanding that immigration is a source of strength for us and Muslim Canadians are an essential part of the success of our country today and into the future.”

"A heinous crime has been committed in Chicago as a gang of four young African-American youths — two male and two female — kidnapped and tortured a mentally handicapped white teenager from the streets one of America’s most dangerous cities roughly a week ago.
Making the incident worse than the racial aspects of the case are the fact that the perpetrators broadcast their sickening actions on Facebook in real time and taunted their 18-year-old victim, demanding he repeat the words “F*** Donald Trump” and “F*** white people” over and over in addition to cutting him with a knife and forcing him drink water from a toilet bowl.
Throughout the kidnapping — which took place over the course of two days, the perpetrators used the word “n****r” to refer to their victim, even though he’s white. Ultimately, the perpetrators demanded $300 as a ransom payment from the victim’s mother via cell phone before the victim escaped as police arrived.
The four people charged with the crime are Brittany Covington, 18, Tanishia Covington, 24, Tesfaye Cooper, 18 and Jordan Hill, 18. They’ve been in custody since January 6, two days after the graphic video was shot and parts were broadcast on television networks across the country.
Outraged community and political leaders in Chicago and across the United States denounced the perpetrators, but some stopped short of calling the actions a hate crime while others made excuses, saying that police brutality has justified some violent actions of young people both white and black.
Former Chicago Police Superintendant Garry McCarthy believes the crime is evidence that America is becoming more divided and that partisan politics may be partially to blame. “Unfortunately, this is becoming the new normal,” McCarthy said on Fox News’ America’s Newsroom. “The more outlandish the incident, we’re horrified, but there’s no reaction to it.”
On CNN, African-American host Don Lemon was discussing the crime with Democratic strategist, CNN guest commentator and former Bernie Sanders press secretary Symone Sanders (no relation), who is also black. Lemon argued, “I can’t say that it’s a hate crime because Chicago police won’t say it. They’re saying they’re still investigating; they’re not done with their investigation. But when you look at this, Symone, they’re saying, ‘F white people, F Trump’ — how can you say it’s not a hate crime against a white person?”
Sanders retorted, “This is sickening, but I’m going to say something that’s probably not very popular. We cannot callously go about classifying things as a hate crime. Motive here matters.” Sanders attempted to say that the perpetrators may have committed their crime out of hatred for the things Trump has said, rather than their hatred of the victim’s race.
“So, was this for hate of Donald Trump — for the president-elect [and] for the things he has said?” Sanders asked. “Or pure hate of white people? That matters because if we start going around, and anytime someone says something or does something really egregious, really bad and as sickening as this in connection with the president-elect, or Donald Trump, or even President Obama for that matter because of their political leanings, that is slippery territory.”
Sanders claimed, “That is not a hate crime; hate crimes are because of a person’s racial ethnicity, their religion, their gender, their disability — your political leanings — because someone doesn’t like your political leanings, they do something bad to you; that is not a hate crime.”
In November, Sanders was also questioned about hate crimes after another video from Chicago showed a mob dragging a white man out of a car and beating him because they believed the man was a supporter of Donald Trump. At that time, Sanders said, “Hate crimes and protesting are not the same thing,” Sanders said. “A hate crime is a crime that is committed against somebody because of their religion — because of what they look like, because of their sexual orientation. That’s not the same thing as protesting.”
Another guest on that program, former Navy SEAL and Trump supporter Carl Higbie, asked Sanders, “Then what do you say to the people who are — who dragged a poor white guy out of a car and beat him?”
Sanders then mocked Higbie’s concern sarcastically, saying, “Oh my goodness, poor white people. Oh my — stop. Stop it, Carl.”
Obviously, these are cases where the mainstream media was attempting to be politically correct. However, they ignore statistics that say that the nationwide rate of black-on-white homicide has been approximately twice as high as the rate of white-on-black homicide for the last 10 years.
In this case, many media sources revealed most details of the case as soon as they came in. But CBS Radio did something else.
In a shocking twisting of the truth, the network wrote the story so as not to reveal the racial identities of either the perpetrators or the victim and even worse, made it seem as if the races were reversed. A transcript of the story, which is a prime example of the current phenomenon of “fake news,” reads as follows:
The viral video of a beating and knife attack in Chicago suggests the assault had racial overtones. CBS’s Dean Reynolds tells us the victim is described as a mentally-challenged teenager.
In the video, he is choked and repeatedly called the N-word. His clothes are slashed, and he is terrorized with a knife. His alleged captors repeatedly reference Donald Trump. Police are holding four people in connection with the attack.
Media observer site Mediaite quickly commented on the CBS report, calling it “technically correct, but widely misleading… By noting the attackers used the N-word during a racially-motivated attack while ‘referencing’ Donald Trump, the clear implication is that the victim was black and his attackers were racist Trump fans.”
Thomas Lifson of the website The American Thinker agreed, writing, “This may be the single most despicable act of media bias I have ever encountered. Now consider for a moment how difficult it must have been for CBS News employees to make themselves bulletproof (in their minds, at least) by being factual, yet create a counterfactual message in the minds of its listeners. This is the sort of lying that takes skill and practice.”
Indeed, the way the report is written — leaving out the races of the people involved — is so purposeful in its obscuring of the truth that one has to wonder what (or whose) agenda was at work when the assigned editors wrote the story. CBS has since neither named nor fired the story’s editor, nor even issued a correction.
The four young people named in the attack have since been charged with two hate crimes (since they targeted the victim based on his race and his disability) as well as other charges, including aggravated kidnapping, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, unlawful restraint, burglary and possession of a stolen motor vehicle. The two men involved in the incident each have prior arrest records and one has spent time in jail. They were all ordered to be held without bail by Cook County Judge Maria Kuriakos Ciesil.
In the meantime, the victim has received medical treatment and was released from a local area hospital. Neal Strom, the attorney handling his case, stated, “The family is huddled around him morning, noon and night, but he needs help.”

Re: THAT's LIFE...

"Last weekend's "women's marches" (which actually should have been called "left wing women's marches") had many elements that should make us shudder...
They were filled with embarrassing lewdness and obscenity.
They allowed speakers like actress Ashley Judd to make fools of themselves and showcased politically senile retreads like Jane Fonda and Gloria Steinem.
They were accompanied by violent mobs that trashed shopping centers and fought with police.
Janadele, they might have been dressed up in light heartedness, but the silly hats couldn't disguise the fact that they were hatefests in action.
But this shouldn't surprise us. Hatred is the lifeblood of the Left and has been since the French Revolution. Hate is the Left's political homeland and its reason for being.
And that's why the Freedom Center is excited to announce a new e-book by our own John Perazzo titled Left Wing Hate Groups.
One of the biggest of the Left's Big Lies is that conservative political groups and movements are universally motivated by hatred – of blacks, Hispanics and other ethnic groups; of homosexuals, transsexuals and other gender minorities; of immigrants, Muslims and others who are "marginalized" and therefore vulnerable.
This Big Lie is an exercise in what Freud called "projection" and which psychologists define as denying abhorrent emotions in oneself by attributing them to others.
There are indeed haters on the Right, but for the most part they are on its fringe – demented individuals or tiny groups whose political apparatus consists of little more than an obscure post office box and a toxic website.
For the Left, however, hatred is a mass movement. Left hate groups swim successfully in the American mainstream.
And because of the Left bias in our culture and media, their followers, like those at the women's marches, can posture as idealists and protectors of the downtrodden while spewing hate. For them, hatred is no fault.
But Left Wing Hate Groups warns about what lies ahead during the next four years – which is why I urgently need your help to get this book into the hands of politicians, law enforcement, concerned media and ordinary citizens, these groups don't operate in the dark. They spew their hate every day as proud members of the vast leftwing network that supported Barack Obama's efforts to "radically transform America" and they've already declared open war on the Trump administration.
Just look at the Southern Poverty Law Center that raises millions of dollars every year attacking respected conservatives like Charles Murray as "racists" and anti-Islamist intellectuals like Ayaan Hirshi Ali as "Islamophobes..."
Or how Black Lives Matters hate-filled rhetoric has had deadly consequences for police officers...
And let's not forget Students for Justice in Palestine, which has become the chief organizer and sponsor of anti-Israel hatefests that have become common occurrences on our campuses! you can read about these – and other hate organizations – in Left Wing Hate Groups.
Your support will help warn people about left wing hatred, which will now ratchet up as "progressive" Democrats no longer have control over our political system – AND you'll receive your very own copy.
Thank you for your vigilance and your help!

Sincerely,
David Horowitz

Quebec Terror Suspect Alexandre Bissonnette Charged with Six Counts of Murder

Image

Media reports paint him as a Trump-supporting misogynist.

Police have charged Laval University student Alexandre Bissonnette with six counts of first-degree murder in relation to the Quebec City mosque shooting.

Bissonnette, 27, was arrested after Sunday night's terrorist attack at Centre Culturel Islamique de Québec that left six men dead and another 19 injured, including two who remain hospitalized in serious condition.

He has also been charged with five counts of attempted murder.

The names of the dead have been released by the Quebec coroner's office:

Mamadou Tanou Barry, 42
Abdelkrim Hassane, 41
Khaled Belkacemi, 60
Aboubaker Thabti, 44
Azzeddine Soufiane, 57
Ibrahima Barry, 39

According to multiple media outlets, investigators searched Bissonnette's home in Cap-Rouge today. He reportedly called police on himself and was arrested on Île d'Orléans Bridge, about 12 miles from where the shooting took place.

Media reports paint Bissonnette as a loner with right-wing views.

According to La Presse, Bissonnette is a political science student at Laval University, who was known to troll a Facebook group for refugees. Group administrator François Deschamps told La Presse that Bissonnette was generally xenophobic and used the term "feminazi."

The Globe and Mail reported that Bissonnette also expressed support for French nationalist Marine Le Pen, who has compared Muslims praying in the street to a Nazi "occupation."

Two men who knew Bissonnette told Journal de Québec that he was a Trump supporter.

One, Éric Debroise, said he informed police Bissonnette is an "ultra nationalist white supremacist," while one of Bissonnette's classmates, Jean-Michel Allard-Prus, said "he has right-wing political ideas, pro-Israel, anti-immigration. I had many debates with him about Trump. He was obviously pro-Trump."

Several acquaintances also said Bissonnette didn't have many friends and was bullied in high school.

Another man who police originally described as a suspect, Mohamed Belkhadir, is actually a witness who La Presse reports was helping a shooting victim at the mosque when he ran away thinking a policeman was an attacker.

Belkhadir, 29, an engineering student originally from Morocco, said he was giving his friend first aid when he spotted someone with a weapon and fled to the mosque's parking lot, not realizing the person he saw was a cop.

"They saw me flee, they thought I was suspicious, that's normal," he told La Presse. " For them, someone who flees is a suspect."

Congressman Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) has withdrawn legislation that would have upheld his oath of office and the Constitution by returning land back to the people from the usurpation of the central governmentand the Bureau of Land Management, apparently under pressure from “groups” he “supports” believing that it “sends the wrong message.”
Chaffetz’s legislation was introduced in January and called on the Department of Interior to either dispose of or sell 3.3 million acres of “public lands.”
However, it appears that he is facing pressure from conservationist groups who claim the legislation “sends the wrong message.”
“I’m a proud gun owner, hunter and love our public lands,” Chaffetz posted. “The bill would have disposed of small parcels of lands Pres. Clinton identified as serving no public purpose but groups I support and care about fear it sends the wrong message.”According to The Washington Post, “The Disposal of Excess Federal Lands Act, which would have shifted federal holdings to state governments in Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon and Wyoming, prompted an outcry among hunters and anglers’ groups. Introduced three weeks after House Republicans enacted a rule change to make it easier to sell off federal land, the measure prompted two separate rallies in Santa Fe, N.M., and Helena, Mont., this week that drew hundreds of people opposed to the measure.”

The Salt Lake Tribune reports:
The legislation details swaths of Bureau of Land Management acreage over 10 Western states cited in a 1997 Clinton administration report as not otherwise set aside for oil, gas or mineral extraction, listed for wilderness protection or designated for Native American groups. That includes 132,931 acres in Utah.
The findings, though, note that some of the lands identified may have other conflicts, including disposal costs, the existence of cultural resources or hazardous conditions. The study was requested by Congress at the time as part of an exchange plan to restore the Florida Everglades.
Chaffetz has introduced the bill every year since 2010, but it has never passed or gone forward to a committee hearing. The legislation accords with other Republican efforts in Utah to take control public lands, which account for about two-thirds of the state’s area.
“While there are national treasures worthy of federal protection, there are lands that should be returned to private ownership,” Chaffetz said in 2011.
The move to drop the legislation, though, was lauded by public lands conservation groups.
Chris Saeger, director of Western Values Project, said Chaffetz deserves thanks for withdrawing the “irresponsible bill.”
“If he values public lands enough to abandon this plan,” Saeger said in a prepared statement, “he should refrain from interfering with the land protected by President Obama’s Bears Ears monument.”
That step is not likely. Chaffetz has been a staunch opponent of the December monument designation in San Juan County, calling it “a slap in the face to the people of Utah.”

Of course, it’s a slap in the face of the people of Utah Congressman! However, it’s a bigger slap in the face that the central government “owns” a ton of land it never acquired per the Constitution, through state legislatures! Yet, you claim your legislation “sends the wrong message.” However, you never tell us what that message is. Is it that the DC government should not own or manage that land? That is the right message, Sir! Is it that some people who support you want the Constitution violated concerning “public land,” something that the Constitution clearly limits?
From what I can see, so-called “conservatives” are ok with this kind of lawlessness when it benefits them. Alex Robinson of Outdoor Life elaborated on conservationists and hunting groups having concerns that selling off small portions of land to private interests could cut off public access to national forests for hunter or campers.
Well, again, where is that in the Constitution, friends? If you want land to hunt on, get a friend that has the land and ask to hunt, or buy property!
I know what some are saying, “Tim, it’s not that simple.” Oh yes, it is. It’s as simple as the central government coming in and in one quick swoop usurping constitutional authority, growing government to enforce that usurpation and even threatening and imprisoning those who would seek to correct the injustice.
Thanks for nothing on this one Congressman Chaffetz.

"A good question from one of Iraq’s most important Christian leaders, Catholic Archbishop Basar Warda. The archbishop was speaking the Catholic website, Crux, when he voiced support for President Donald Trump’s immigration posture towards the nations of the Middle East and said that Iraq’s Christians “celebrated when Trump won” because they hoped it meant that the USA would finally offer support for their suffering.

The entire interview is a treasure trove of information about the plight of Christians in the Middle East (Iraq in particular) and is well worth your time to read.

On whether or not he (and other Iraqi Christians) agree with President Trump’s new immigration policies:

I don’t know what the president knows about security risks as they relate to the “countries of concern” and refugees from them…

It is terrible to live with terrorism. My country lives with terrorism daily. And if the United States wants to have a strong vetting process, I can understand and appreciate that. Some people are quick to forget that Europe has tried to slow down the refugee flow too. The EU has done its best to keep the refugees in Turkey, and has paid Turkey to keep them there. Obviously, in the era of terrorism, people are concerned about who is entering their country and that is understandable…

I fear that all the media discussion on this travel issue will place the focus completely on those who are in the migration process, and forget those who are still attempting to live and survive in their legitimate homeland.

One other thing: Christians and other minorities have been largely ignored by the American government before now, so even if this step had a bumpy start and required clarification, we in Iraq appreciate that an American administration understands that we are here and wants to help the minorities here who have suffered so much.
On the protests happening in America against Trump and his immigration order:

From my perspective in Iraq, I wonder why all of these protesters were not protesting in the streets when ISIS came to kill Christians and Yazidis and other minority groups. They were not protesting when the tens of thousands of displaced Christians my archdiocese has cared for since 2014 received no financial assistance from the U.S. government or the U.N. There were no protests when Syrian Christians were only let in at a rate that was 20 times less than the percentage of their population in Syria.

I do not understand why some Americans are now upset that the many minority communities that faced a horrible genocide will finally get a degree of priority in some manner…

Most Americans have no concept of what it was like to live as a Yazidi or Christian or other minority as ISIS invaded. Our people had the option to flee, to convert, or to be killed, and many were killed in the most brutal ways imaginable. But there were none of these protests then of ISIS’s religious test.

Our people lost everything because of their faith – they were targeted for their faith, just like the Yazidis and others too. Now these protesters are saying that religion should not matter at all, even though someone was persecuted for their faith, even though persecution based on religion is one of the grounds for refugee status in the UN treaty on refugees.

From here I have to say, it is really unbelievable.

It is exactly this reasoning, that religion should not be a factor at all in American policy, that has resulted in Christians and other minority communities being overlooked by U.S. and UN aid programs. We are too small to matter, our communities are disappearing from constant persecution, and for years the American government didn’t care. Now when someone tries to help us, we have protesters telling us that there can be no religious basis for refugee status – even though the UN treaty and American law say that religious persecution is a major reason for granting the status, and even though ISIS targeted people primarily on the basis of religion…

But it is very hard for me to understand why comfortable people in the West think those who are struggling to survive against genocide, and whose communities are at extreme risk of disappearing completely, should not get some special consideration. We are an ancient people on the verge of extinction because of our commitment to our faith. Will anybody protest for us? The religious minorities of the Middle East deserve special protection, not because they are more valuable than the Muslim population, but because they’ve faced more danger, hardship, and persecution than their Muslim neighbours."

"Freedom of speech and freedom of religion are both dying painful deaths in the once-Christian West. Over the last couple of years we’ve brought you a handful of stories about Christians being arrested for saying Christians things, and yet it just keeps happening more and more often. The latest example may be one of the most egregious yet.
Gordon Larmour is a 42-year old Christian who has been street preaching for seven years. This past summer he was handing out leaflets and saying, “Don’t forget Jesus loves you and He died for your sins.” One of the men passing him asked, “What does your God say about homosexuals?” Mr, Larmour responded by quoting Scripture and telling the questioner that God created Adam and Eve to produce children, which sent the young homosexual man into a rage and he began chasing the preacher.

When the police arrived they arrested Larmour (who was the one being threatened) and accused him of threatening or abusive behavior, which was ‘aggravated by prejudice relating to sexual orientation,’ even though the preacher had not used any foul language or made any offensive remarks. Larmour was forced to spend a night in jail and the six months of court cases and legal trouble before finally being cleared of any crime by the local sheriff.

Mr. Larmour still can’t believe what happened to him, telling the Scottish Mail, “I can’t see why I was arrested in the first place – it was a massive overreaction and a waste of everyone’s time. The police didn’t listen to me. They took the young homosexual guy’s side straight away and read me my rights. “I feel they try so hard to appear like they are protecting minorities, they go too far the other way. I want to be able to tell people the good word of the Gospel and think I should be free to do so. I wasn’t speaking my opinions – I was quoting from the Bible.”

Larmour believes that the police acted wrongly and points to the court case where the young man’s friend testified that Larmour had really done nothing wrong. “I think the police should have handled it differently and listened to what I had to say. They should have calmed the boy down and left it at that. “In court the boy’s friend told the truth – that I hadn’t assaulted him or called him homophobic names. I had simply answered his question and told him about Adam and Eve and Heaven and Hell. Preaching from the Bible is not a crime.”

The local courts found Larmour innocent of all charges and cleared him of all wrong doing, but it doesn’t change the injustice of this situation happening at all. Cases like this are becoming all too common in the UK and across Europe and Canada where saying the “wrong” thing can lead to arrest and fines. The world is a dangerous place for Christians (Christianity is the world’s most persecuted religion), but it’s even becoming dangerous for Christians living in the supposedly “Christian” West."
