So, in the privacy of your own home, as you teach and instruct your own children, you would be forbidden by law to teach them what the Bible said about homosexual practice. And how, pray tell, was the government planning to monitor this?
In 2015, Dawn Stefanowicz, herself the child of a gay father who died of AIDS, raised her voice as well. The headline to her article read, “A Warning from Canada: Same-Sex Marriage Erodes Fundamental Rights.” She wrote:
“I want to warn America to expect severe erosion of First Amendment freedoms if the U.S. Supreme Court mandates same-sex marriage. The consequences have played out in Canada for ten years now, and they are truly Orwellian in nature and scope.
“In Canada, freedoms of speech, press, religion, and association have suffered greatly due to government pressure. The debate over same-sex marriage that is taking place in the United States could not legally exist in Canada today. Because of legal restrictions on speech, if you say or write anything considered ‘homophobic’ (including, by definition, anything questioning same-sex marriage), you could face discipline, termination of employment, or prosecution by the government.”
She was not exaggerating. In fact, she may have understated her case. The latest headlines from Canada announce something even more Orwellian: “Canada’s New Law Lets Government Take Children Away If Parents Don’t Accept Their Gender Identity.”
“A Canadian province has passed a law that gives rights to the government to take away children from families that don’t accept their kid’s chosen ‘gender identity’ or ‘gender expression’.
“The Supporting Children, Youth and Families Act of 2017, also known as Bill 89, was passed in Ontario by a vote of 63 to 23, The Christian Times reported.”
This is beyond mind-boggling. It might even be beyond Orwellian. Really now, would even Orwell have predicted that the government could seize your 8-year-old boy if you wouldn’t let him dress like a girl or if you refused to affirm his perceived female identity?
For good reason, Jack Fonseca, a political strategist for Campaign Life Coalition, slammed the new bill in no uncertain terms:
“With the passage of Bill 89, we’ve entered an era of totalitarian power by the state, such as never witnessed before in Canada’s history. Make no mistake, Bill 89 is a grave threat to Christians and all people of faith who have children, or who hope to grow their family through adoption.”
And it is not just an era of totalitarian power. It is an era of misguided totalitarian power.
Not only is it saying that the government, not the parent, knows best. It is saying that the child, not the parent, knows best. It is saying that it is impossible that little Johnny is confused and that one day, he will outgrow his belief that he is really a girl.
No. If he’s convinced he’s a girl and his parents don’t affirm this, he could presumably tell his teachers at school, who would then report this to the government.
Soon enough, there’s a knock at your door, and government agents are taking your son – yes, your very own child – and putting him in a new environment where he can live as Jane.
As nightmarish as this scenario sounds, it is now the law. And it was passed with ease by a vote of 63 to 23.
Soon enough, Johnny will be taking hormone blockers to stop the onset of puberty, and before you know it, he’ll be a lovely young lady, sex-change surgery and all. And there’s nothing you can do to stop it. Nothing.
There’s a reason that so many of us have been raising our voices so loudly for so many years. It’s not because we hate gays or transgenders. It’s because we foresaw the disastrous consequences of LGBT activism and have been standing as watchmen on the wall, sounding the alarm. I urge you from the bottom of my heart: Please don’t hit the snooze button again.
And please don’t console yourself by saying, “Well, that’s Canada, not America.”

Third, already in America, “A federal district court judge just dismissed a mother’s lawsuit, essentially upholding Minnesota’s very harmful and unconstitutional ’emancipation statute’ that allows minor children – with the aid of outside groups – to leave their families whenever there is conflict, as long as the child is living independently and can support himself or herself.”
In the case at hand, the mother’s minor son had “decided to be treated with hormones in an effort to ‘change’ his biological sex and to change his name.” The mother opposed this, which was one of the reasons the child sought “emancipation.” Now, the government (here in America!) is helping to underwrite his “transition,” and there’s nothing his mother can do to prevent it.
Recently, the flagship gay publication The Advocate celebrated an 8-year-old drag queen – meaning, a boy who identifies as a boy but who likes to dress up as a girl. (Interestingly, the boy lives in Canada.)
Yes, “Montreal’s newest drag superstar has the poise of someone four times his age.
“A new girl on the Montreal drag scene is making the city’s other queens look geriatric by comparison. That would be Lactatia – a.k.a. Nemis Quinn Mélançon Golden, an 8-year-old who started getting into drag at the ripe old age of 7.”
In this case, the boy’s parents are highly supportive of him (that’s bad enough). But if they weren’t supportive of him, since this is part of his gender expression, the government could remove him from his home.
This madness must be stopped."

Yeah and the government is totally fine with Islamic honour killings and child marriages.
It feels like some insane farce to me, I mean I don't care if adults want to be gay or have a stupid piece of paper saying they're married, but letting kids decide everything about gender (at 8 all I cared about was Pokemon and Hockey, I couldn't even grasp how far things were in relation to anything else). And people think kids understand gender perfectly?
That's insane and utterly cruel.
I never set out to be so against social justice and the modern culture but, besides its raving hatred for me as a white male with right wing leanings, it has become something vile and miserable.
These people are ugly inside and out and want the whole world to be that way.

A father in the US was murdered in front of his two children while attempting to purchase a puppy advertised on Facebook.
Scott Bowman responded to an advertisement on the social networking website by a man, who has not been named, that was looking to rehome a puppy.
The man insisted on delivering the dog to Mr Bowman's home in Jacksonville, Florida, according to KRON-4.
Once inside the home, Mr Bowman's fiancée claimed the man started behaving in a drunk and volatile manner.
A fight broke out between Mr Bowman and the man, while his two children were nearby.
Mr Bowman was then fatally shot in the chest.

A Pakistani man has been sentenced to death after an allegedly blasphemous argument on Facebook with an opponent who turned out to be a counter-terrorism cop.
Taimoor Raza, 30, was handed the harsh punishment following his arrest last year over the online stoush in which he is accused of insulting the prophet Muhammad and the wives of Sunni leaders.
"My brother indulged in a sectarian debate on Facebook with a person, who we later come to know, was an official with the name of Muhammad Usman," the condemned man's brother, Waseem Abbas told The Guardian.
The decision comes amid a national crackdown on internet blasphemy, with Raza's lawyer, Fida Hussain Rana, saying that his client has been charged under two separate laws, apparently to ensure the maximum penalty could be sought by prosecutors.
"Initially, it was a case of insulting remarks on sectarian grounds…which punishes for derogatory remarks about other religious personalities for up to two years," Rana said.
But later Raza was charged under another section of the code – "derogatory acts against prophet Muhammad" – which has landed him on death row.
According to AP the government has in recent months bombarded its citizens with warnings about such conduct, as well as pushing Facebook and Twitter to identify Pakistani nationals around the world engaging in potentially criminal online behaviour.

New Poll Finds 42 Percent of Trump Voters Think It’s Appropriate to Bodyslam Reporters
42% of Trump voters said they thought it appropriate for Republican politicians to bodyslam reporters, according to a new nationwide poll out Monday, conducted by Public Policy Polling.
The new poll comes on the heels of newly elected Montana congressman Greg Gianforte’s bodyslamming of Guardian reporter Ben Jacobs on the eve of Gianforte’s election.
The new congressman pled guilty to assaulting Jacobs on Monday, and was sentenced to 40 hours of community service and 20 hours of anger management. That was after he issued a lengthy apology to the reporter and donated $50,000 to the Committee to Protect Journalists.
Despite assaulting a reporter the night before the election, Gianforte beat his Democrat opponent Rob Quist. Reports from the time indicated that alarmingly few Republican voters in Montana cared that their candidate attacked a reporter, and some even saw the assault as deserved.
Conservative media was equally irreverent about the unprovoked assault — Rush Limbaugh lauded Gianforte as “manly” and “studly,” Laura Ingraham mocked Jacobs, and Tucker Carlson blamed the “progressive left” for the assault.
It appears that irreverence is reflected amongst voters — the new PPP poll reveals an astonishing number of Trump voters — 42% — thought it appropriate for a Republican politician to assault a member of the press. Meanwhile, 45% thought it inappropriate.
As for Hillary Clinton voters, 6% thought it appropriate to bodyslam reporters, while 89% thought it inappropriate. The poll notes that overall, 22% of voters think it’s appropriate, while 69% disapprove.
Trump stoked a war with the media throughout his 2016 election campaign, demonizing individual reporters and picking fights with outlets themselves. His administration has kept up the rhetoric since his inauguration, with chief strategist Steve Bannon calling the media “the opposition party,” and Trump himself decrying negative coverage as “fake news.”

A 70-YEAR-OLD man who says he robbed a bank in Kansas City — a block away from the city’s police headquarters — in the hope he would get away from his wife in jail, has been sentenced to six months’ home detention for the crime.
Lawrence John Ripple pleaded guilty to the robbery in September at the Bank of Labour, The Kansas City Star reports.
According to court documents, prior to the robbery Ripple wrote a robbery note in front of his wife and told her he would rather be in prison than at home.
Ripple robbed the bank with a gun and demanded money from a teller.
After the money was handed over Ripple waited for the police.
He later told the judge heart surgery prior to the robbery had resulted in him being depressed and he said he wasn’t himself at the time.
According to his defence lawyer Ripple had since been properly diagnosed since the incident, he is on the correct medicine and feels like himself again.
US District Court Judge Carlos Murguia sentenced Ripple to six months of home confinement.
He was also ordered to serve three years probation, including 50 hours of community service.
He was ordered to pay US$227.27 (AU$299.50) to the bank.
That amount represented the billable hours for bank employees who were sent home on the day of the robbery.
Ripple produced the note which read: “I have a gun, give me money” and was handed $US2,924 by the teller.
He faced up to 37 months in prison but was granted leniency by the court.
According to Ripple’s lawyer the act was a “cry for help”.
“Mr. Ripple understands what he did and he respects the law as indicated by his past behaviour,” he said.
Ripple was accompanied by his wife as the sentence was handed down late on Tuesday, local time.
“It was not my intention to frighten (the teller) as I did,” he said.
“I feel great now,” Ripple said. “I feel like my old self.”

"18-year-old Lauren Seitz tragically died after contracting a brain-eating amoeba during a visit to a popular North Carolina water park.
Mitzi Kline, a spokeswoman for the Franklin County Department of Public Health Department in Ohio, confirmed the teen died from the brain-eating amoeba in a statement to PEOPLE last summer.
The scientific term for the amoeba Seitz contracted is primary amebic meningoencephalitis, an infection caused by Naegleria fowleri, which is an organism that does not cause illness if swallowed, but can be fatal if forced up the nose. It is naturally present in warm lakes during the summer.
Symptoms, which include fever, nausea, headache or vomiting, can progress into loss of balance, seizures and hallucinations. They begin about five days after infection and typically cause death within five days, according to the CDC.
In a written statement to PEOPLE at the time, the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services said, “The deceased’s only known underwater exposure was believed to be when riding in a raft with several others that overturned at the U.S. National Whitewater Center in Charlotte.”
Testing of the park’s filtration and disinfection systems at the time revealed they were not fit to properly clean the center’s water, leaving visitors at risk of infection, the Charlotte Observer reported.
The lawsuit claims chlorine levels were lower than they should have been and water at the park was too shallow to safeguard the public, reports CNN.
According to the outlet, the lawsuit says: “Lauren and other visitors had a higher likelihood of encountering Naegleria fowleri in the unregulated waters of the U.S. National Whitewater Center than they did by simply rafting in the nearby Catawba River.”

"Refined processed vegetable oils are in salad dressings and in restaurant meals; they can even be labeled organic. The reason vegetable oils are bad for you have to do with their molecular structure.
"Vegetable oils are polyunsaturated. That means they have two double bonds [in close proximity]… That chemical structure has very important consequences for how these oils change when we manipulate them for processing and refining … and then again when they're cooked with," Shanahan says.
Polyunsaturated fat found in processed vegetable oils is not harmful in and of itself, but becomes so if and when you eat too much of it, and/or when the oils degrade, which occurs during refining, processing and heating (cooking). Not only can they form trans fats if heated high enough, but they can also form cyclic aldehydes, which are even more harmful.
If you regularly eat processed foods, you are virtually guaranteed to get too much of these oils — upward of 10 times more than your body can safely handle — and due to the intense refining and processing that goes into processed foods, the oils are going to be highly degraded and therefore toxic.
Oxidative Stress Is the Great Disease Maker
In Chapter 7 of "Deep Nutrition," Shanahan details how polyunsaturated fats consumed in excess affect your liver proteins to cause arteriosclerosis, for example. This is why avoiding processed foods of all kinds is so important if you value your health.
"Oxidative stress is what happens when your body has all these free radicals deteriorating in your body. Oxidative stress is the great disease maker. Every chronic disease we now know is associated with oxidative stress. There's not a disease you can name that isn't … When there's a lot of oxidative stress, your immune system doesn't work as well."
Ultimately, that oxidative stress impacts your mitochondria, which is why it produces so many symptoms. The mitochondria, of course, have cell membranes, and those membranes are made of fat, especially in your brain, and Shanahan does a great job explaining how damaged fats impact your brain health.
Your Brain Needs Healthy Fats
Your brain is about 50 percent fat by dry weight, and about 30 percent of that are the essential fatty acids omega-3 and omega-6. Both are equally important, Shanahan notes. The problem is, most people get very little omega-3 and far too much omega-6, most of which is badly damaged by oxidation due to processing.
One of the reasons your brain is so susceptible to aging and age-related diseases is because you have high quantities of these highly reactive, easily oxidized fatty acids in your brain. To maintain optimal brain function, you need high quality, undamaged omega-3s and omega-6 along with antioxidants to protect them from oxidation. In summary, processed vegetable oils are bad for your brain health for a number of reasons, including the following:
They are loaded with damaged omega-6 fatty acids without protective antioxidants
They strip your liver of glutathione, which produces antioxidant enzymes, which further lowers your antioxidant defenses
Most vegetable oils are made with genetically engineered (GE) crops designed to resist herbicides like glyphosate. As such, they're typically far more contaminated with glyphosate than non-GE crops, and glyphosate has been shown to disrupt the tight junctions in your gut and increase penetration of foreign invaders, especially heated proteins, which can cause allergies
Toxic breakdown products found in vegetable oils inhibit an enzyme called delta-6 desaturase (delta-6). Perhaps the most important fat you need for brain and physical health is the omega-3 fat docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). DHA is absolutely critical because your body does not actually burn it for fuel; rather, the DHA gets integrated into your cellular membranes. DHA is also essential for the conversion of photons from the sun into electric current to energize your mitochondria.
Research shows that restricting omega-6 in the diet enables your liver to function better, allowing it to elongate short-chain omega-3s more efficiently. This process involves delta-6, and this enzyme is inhibited by toxic breakdown products in vegetables oils. High insulin levels will also inhibit this enzyme.
Cooking From Scratch Is Key
A key strategy for avoiding these pernicious toxins is to eat real food, and that means cooking most of your meals at home.
"The first step I recommend to my patients … is to start with a healthy breakfast … Have good quality pastured [grass fed, organic raw] milk or cream, if you can get it, or at least organic, in your coffee. That's going to help you burn fat. No carbs, but plenty of healthy natural fat.
You could also have eggs with cheese, butter and maybe whatever vegetables you like for flavor — not the starchy vegetables obviously. Those are two examples of a really healthy breakfast … If you have a very high-fat breakfast … then you don't have that hunger drive anywhere near as strong by lunch. You don't have to snack … You can concentrate better …"
In the transition phase, when you're initially teaching your body to burn fat as its primary fuel, you may be better off putting grass fed butter into your coffee instead, as milk has sugar in the form of galactose. Another important strategy is to avoid added oils and just eat the whole food that the oils are derived from. If you want avocado oil, use avocados. If you want flaxseed oil, use flax seeds. If you want sesame seed oil, use sesame seeds.
Olive oil is an exception as it's not a processed oil. It's actually pressed, although there's the issue of adulteration. The vast majority of olive oil on the market is adulterated with other low-quality vegetables oils. Coconut oil is another exception from the above rule. As noted by Shanahan, "This is why when people go on the Esselstyn or the Ornish diet and avoid all added oils, they do experience benefits. [They're] getting these toxic oils out of their diet."
4HNE — A Little-Known Toxin in Polyunsaturated Fats
Another important piece of information relates to 4-hydroxynonenal (4HNE), which forms during the processing of most vegetable oils. 4HNE is highly toxic, especially to your gut bacteria, and consumption of 4HNE has been correlated with having an obesogenic balance of gut flora.
"They've actually done studies where they create fat mice and then take that gut flora from the fat mice and give it to skinny mice. It changes the way the mice behave. They get more anxious. Some of the mice will actually eat more. When I looked at this study, I said, 'Well, how did they make these mice fat?'
What they were doing was feeding them a high-fat diet. Here's where it gets really complicated … [M]ost of the studies on high-fat diets that use lard are using lard from animals fed corn and soy. [It's] high in polyunsaturated fatty acids — nearly as [high] as if they were fed corn and soy oil.
So, these so-called high saturated fat diets are far from it. That means we have to rewind hundreds of millions of dollars' worth of research into the so-called health harms of high saturated fat diets that were done in animal studies."
4HNE causes cytotoxicity and DNA damage, and instigates free radical cascades that damage the mitochondrial membrane. According to Shanahan, "You can't design a better delivery vehicle for a toxin that's going to destroy your health slowly over the course of maybe 10, 20 years, depending on the genetics of your antioxidant system capacity."
Shanahan also notes that organic vegetable oil is not the answer here, as 4HNE occurs even if the oil is obtained from organic crops. It's an intrinsic byproduct of the refining and processing of the oil, no matter how healthy the oil initially was.
"As much as 5 percent of [a quart of vegetable oil] can be toxic types of trans fat. That is 50 grams. That's almost 2 ounces. We're talking about 2 ounces of a highly toxic compound versus parts per million, which you can't even measure," Shanahan notes. "

In an address to the Rome Life Forum, Cardinal Caffarra identified Satan with the drive to deny the truth within the heart of man. He specifically said two innovations are core to this “anti-creation” – abortion and homosexuality.
The cardinal condemned “the transformation of a crime into a right” when it comes to abortion.
“This signifies calling what is good, evil, what is light, shadow,” he said.
Caffarra declared abortion signifies the “profoundest negation of the truth of man.”
Secondly, Caffarra argued the “ennoblement of homosexuality” has the effect of denying “entirely the truth of marriage.”
“In the mind of God, marriage has a permanent structure, based on the duality of the human mode of being: femininity and masculinity,” the cardinal explained. “Not two opposite poles, but the one with and for the other. Only thus does man escape his original solitude.”
Caffarra claimed the new world created by these moral perversions is an attempt by Satan to build an alternative to God’s creation in which man would prefer to live.
“This is the frightful strategy of the lie,” said the cardinal.
He said Christians have a responsibility to “testify” to the truth of the Christian faith, “openly and publicly,” condemning those who do not do so as not “witnesses, but deserters.”
“I have spoken frequently of a confrontation,” the cardinal said of the situation of contemporary believers. “This confrontation is increasingly assuming the appearance of a trial, of a legal proceeding, in which the defendant is Jesus and his Gospel.”
He concluded by quoting John 12:32, in which Jesus states: “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.”
Professor Paul Kengor, who penned “Takedown” about the war on family and marriage, welcomed Caffarra’s comments as a promising sign for the future of the Roman Catholic Church.
“This is powerful and provocative imagery from a cardinal who is a serious thinker, a highly intelligent and educated man and a very high-ranking official in the Roman Catholic Church,” Kengor told WND.
“Caffarra in 1981 was appointed by Pope John Paul II as the founding head of John Paul II’s crucial institute on the family and marriage. That is the Vatican group that has led the battle against abortion, the ‘Culture of Death,’ and the vast efforts by today’s forces of radical secularism and the dictatorship of relativism to redefine marriage, family, unborn human life, sexuality, and (now) even each and every person’s individual and biologically predetermined gender.

Kengor said Christians of all denominations should pay careful attention to the cardinal’s comments because they will affect even people outside the church.

Pope Francis has blasted same-sex marriage, abortion, gender theory, transgenderism. ABC News had reported on the day of the shooting that Bello was a “Nigerian national” — so the cat was already out of the bag, New York Times. Local New York station PIX11 also reported that he was a Nigerian. Even newspapers in Ohio knew that Bello was a Nigerian.
But as we go to print, the Times still has not identified Bello as a Nigerian immigrant. It issued a “correction,” but only to clarify the exact street of a homeless shelter where Bello had lived. No correction to the “California” bit.
Sadly, the Times didn’t allow any comments to the online version of its story, but CBS did. There were four comments, two about the incident (“rot in hell”) and two about CBS’s report:
“Where was Bello born?”
and:
“Where is he from? Where did he receive his medical degree? Worthless reporting.”

Having misled readers about Bello’s nationality, the Times professed utter bafflement about the shooter’s motive, saying it was “marked with as many questions as answers.”
If the Times simply reported facts, instead of strategically constructing news stories to protect favored groups, it might have noticed that there have been a LOT of mass shootings by certain types of immigrants.
There are mental illness shootings, gangland shootings, still-angry-about-the-divorce shootings and so on. Some immigrant murderers are mentally ill or criminals — thanks to our excellent and extremely rigorous vetting system! But there are enough like Mr. Obotetukudo to qualify as their own category: the Disappointed Immigrant mass shootings.
The usual elements are: 1) immigrants from wildly different cultures, who have 2) unrealistic expectations about what their lives should be like in the U.S., combined with 3) an inability to achieve success in the U.S., and 4) a failure to grasp our customs — often, even our language, typically marked by 5) a particular rage at women.
The same way girls from the Midwest come to New York City expecting to live like Carrie Bradshaw in “Sex and the City” (she was paying $700 a month for a $2,700 per month apartment, plus $40,000 on shoes), some immigrants seem to expect their lives in the U.S. to be like something out of “Dynasty.”
Bello, for example, declared bankruptcy in 2000 — from one of the priciest towns in the world, Santa Barbara, California. And he just kept failing. He was fired from the Bronx hospital. He lost his license as a “pharmacy technician.” (He was not a “doctor,” despite the media’s insistent reference to him as one.)
The Nigerian couldn’t even pull off being a fake doctor, sounding more like a character out of a comedy sketch. Co-workers described him as “very aggressive, talking loudly, threatening people.” Once he was arrested for fare-jumping — just like your trusted family physician. Recently, he’d been living in a homeless shelter.
His Third World approach to meeting women resulted in his being arrested in 2004 for lifting a 23-year-old woman off the ground in Greenwich Village, while trying to penetrate her through her underwear and saying “You’re coming with me.” Although initially charged with felony assault, he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor — otherwise he might have been deported and America’s beautiful mosaic would be diminished.
Apart from the turnstile jumping, all of Bello’s arrests involve similarly rom-com, meet-cute scenarios. In 2003, he was arrested for kicking in an ex-girlfriend’s door at 5:10 in the morning. In 2009, he was charged, in separate incidents, with harassing women by trying to look up their skirts.
All this insanely inappropriate behavior would have continued ad infinitum, with American women being sacrificed on the altar of multiculturalism, but, finally, the Unstoppable Force of Diversity met the Feminist Immovable Object: He was fired from the hospital for sexual harassment.
In his revenge shooting, he killed one doctor: a woman.
Bello blamed his firing on “racism and discrimination,” so at least he was capable of assimilating to the American custom of immigrants being constantly aggrieved.
Close observers will notice the same basic pattern over and over again. Immigrants from backward cultures develop extravagant expectations about their lives in America, fail to master the most rudimentary civic habits, and then erupt in shooting rampages when their lives aren’t turning out as planned.
One will find similar elements in the many, many immigrant mass murders — Jiverly Wong (American Civic Association, Binghamton, New York); Nigerian immigrant Peter Odighizuwa, (Appalachian School of Law); Palestinian immigrant Ali Hassan Abu Kamal (Empire State Building), Bosnian immigrant Sulejman Talovic (Trolley Square Mall, Salt Lake City); Hmong immigrant Chai Soua Vang (hunters in Wisconsin); Mexican immigrant Salvador Tapia (Windy City Core Supply); Korean immigrant Seung-Hui Cho (Virginia Poly Tech) and on and on.
Liberals have a mystical idea that we can pluck people from the most discordant cultures, put them in middle-class houses in the suburbs and then, magically, primitive tribesmen will be imbued with the core beliefs of our republic and civilization, developed over centuries.
Instead, we have Aztecs getting loaded up on Tecate and hopping behind the wheels of cars; Nigerians demanding to be called “doctor” while picking up women on the street and trying to drag them home; and Hmong responding to the concept of private property by wiping out a pack of Wisconsin hunters.
The New York Times might even help their Muslim friends by reporting the truth! Perhaps some Muslim mass murders — Fort Hood, the Boston Marathon and the Orlando nightclub, for example –- aren’t problems of Islam, at all. Maybe the problem is assimilation.

Some immigrant murderers are mentally ill or criminals — thanks to our excellent and extremely rigorous vetting system! But there are enough like Mr. Obotetukudo to qualify as their own category: the Disappointed Immigrant mass shootings.
The usual elements are: 1) immigrants from wildly different cultures, who have 2) unrealistic expectations about what their lives should be like in the U.S., combined with 3) an inability to achieve success in the U.S., and 4) a failure to grasp our customs — often, even our language, typically marked by 5) a particular rage at women.
The same way girls from the Midwest come to New York City expecting to live like Carrie Bradshaw in “Sex and the City” (she was paying $700 a month for a $2,700 per month apartment, plus $40,000 on shoes), some immigrants seem to expect their lives in the U.S. to be like something out of “Dynasty.”
Bello, for example, declared bankruptcy in 2000 — from one of the priciest towns in the world, Santa Barbara, California. And he just kept failing. He was fired from the Bronx hospital. He lost his license as a “pharmacy technician.” (He was not a “doctor,” despite the media’s insistent reference to him as one.)
The Nigerian couldn’t even pull off being a fake doctor, sounding more like a character out of a comedy sketch. Co-workers described him as “very aggressive, talking loudly, threatening people.” Once he was arrested for fare-jumping — just like your trusted family physician. Recently, he’d been living in a homeless shelter.
His Third World approach to meeting women resulted in his being arrested in 2004 for lifting a 23-year-old woman off the ground in Greenwich Village, while trying to penetrate her through her underwear and saying “You’re coming with me.” Although initially charged with felony assault, he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor — otherwise he might have been deported and America’s beautiful mosaic would be diminished.
Apart from the turnstile jumping, all of Bello’s arrests involve similarly rom-com, meet-cute scenarios. In 2003, he was arrested for kicking in an ex-girlfriend’s door at 5:10 in the morning. In 2009, he was charged, in separate incidents, with harassing women by trying to look up their skirts.
All this insanely inappropriate behavior would have continued ad infinitum, with American women being sacrificed on the altar of multiculturalism, but, finally, the Unstoppable Force of Diversity met the Feminist Immovable Object: He was fired from the hospital for sexual harassment.
In his revenge shooting, he killed one doctor: a woman.
Bello blamed his firing on “racism and discrimination,” so at least he was capable of assimilating to the American custom of immigrants being constantly aggrieved.
Close observers will notice the same basic pattern over and over again. Immigrants from backward cultures develop extravagant expectations about their lives in America, fail to master the most rudimentary civic habits, and then erupt in shooting rampages when their lives aren’t turning out as planned.
One will find similar elements in the many, many immigrant mass murders — Jiverly Wong (American Civic Association, Binghamton, New York); Nigerian immigrant Peter Odighizuwa, (Appalachian School of Law); Palestinian immigrant Ali Hassan Abu Kamal (Empire State Building), Bosnian immigrant Sulejman Talovic (Trolley Square Mall, Salt Lake City); Hmong immigrant Chai Soua Vang (hunters in Wisconsin); Mexican immigrant Salvador Tapia (Windy City Core Supply); Korean immigrant Seung-Hui Cho (Virginia Poly Tech) and on and on.
Liberals have a mystical idea that we can pluck people from the most discordant cultures, put them in middle-class houses in the suburbs and then, magically, primitive tribesmen will be imbued with the core beliefs of our republic and civilization, developed over centuries.
Instead, we have Aztecs getting loaded up on Tecate and hopping behind the wheels of cars; Nigerians demanding to be called “doctor” while picking up women on the street and trying to drag them home; and Hmong responding to the concept of private property by wiping out a pack of Wisconsin hunters.
The New York Times might even help their Muslim friends by reporting the truth! Perhaps some Muslim mass murders — Fort Hood, the Boston Marathon and the Orlando nightclub, for example –- aren’t problems of Islam, at all. Maybe the problem is assimilation.
It would be a major step forward if the media would just stop lying to us. Until then, Times reporters can still be issued badges, but they shouldn’t be press badges."
