Not here! For years I served as a translator for the police chief of our little town. He told me several times that he would be scared to death to attempt to take the guns away from the people of Utah. In fact all the sheriffs of Utah declared they would not uphold any gun confiscation law passed by congress. It's not going to happen here! It's a moot point now, the gun control law failed big time in congress!Called to Serve wrote:That's the point, Bob. They aren't breaking down doors because they don't have to. People just let the police troop right in and trample their rights all in the name of safety. The question isn't whether you would let the bombers in but whether you would let the police in. We are supposed to be safe from illegal searches. Your gun going to help you when the police come knocking?bobhenstra wrote:C'mon, show me the pictures of the police breaking down doors!
Can you imagine the size of the army that would be required to disarm Texas?
They want in my house they show me a warrant with my name on it signed by a judge, then they wait for my lawyer! Why? Because I don't trust banks, I've got money hid all over that cabin, not one cent of it better come up missing-------
