Apparently some liberals have petitioned Obama to declare martial law in order to prevent trump from assuming office. Nothing will probably come from it, but still interesting to see...

Of course they are posturing for martial law. This is why they came up with the phony story about Russia hacking the election. So they would have a phony excuse.

I don't think Martial Law could prevent him from being sworn in without an act of congress.

Trump would merely be sworn in in a secure location.

I recently saw video of a woman verbally attacking a man, repeatedly stating that she would like to either assault him or have someone do it for her, and becoming even more verbally violent when the man pointed out how violent women are and can be. But it isn't just women. It seems that most of the left supports using some form of violence against all who disagree with them - depriving them of rights or incarcerating them, forcing them out of jobs, having them beaten, or even having them killed. I don't want to count the number of times I've heard some leftist say all gun owners should be executed. No, the right isn't angelic, but conservative rhetoric doesn't share the calls for violence we hear from the left.
