How far is the asteroid from the comet? How far is the asteroid to the earth?

It is simple really. Until you could get a photo from say Mars, in a week when the comet will be at its closest approach to the place, and the asteroid is tailing the comet or moving parallel to the comet, nothing to worry about, then this could be a reputable discussion.

New timelapse images have emerged of Comet ISON, the images also confirm that their is another object traveling right alongside it. Whatever this object is, its big. Could it be the fabled Planet X? NASA would have you believe this is Eros, the second-largest near-Earth asteroid, but they would say that wouldn’t they. One thing is for sure, we will all find out soon enough.[/quote]"

An impressive cine of 5 images. But to me they are not moving parallel with each other. It looks as if the asteroid is overtaking the comet. Parallax again? I'm trying to keep an open mind about this stuff. Is it a sign from Heavenly Father? Like you say. We shall see.
But at this point in time, I'm at least 51% sure it is just an interesting comet to watch through my telescope.

Hey Bgood, just a suggestion, i really think you should combine the 20+ ISON threads into one thread. It's just to difficult to keep up with some many threads on one topic. I think you will get more views and discussion. Someone already posted about comet ISON "little brother" with a great explanation but I have no idea where to find it among the many ISON threads. Do a blip-it on ISON. Just my two cents.

Apparantly comet ISON is broken up, (guess that depends on who you ask) so multiple heads just means that the pieces of rock are discharging and generate seperate coma's.

Cheers,
M&M

Thanks for keeping us posted on this, Bgood! I have always been a fan of JimMcCanney, his brilliance, and tenacity. He is one of the few that I trust in analyzing these kind of things. His theories on the electrical nature of the cosmos, rather than gravitational, puts him head and shoulders above his peers. I have his site bookmarked and look forward to his new shows.

Geologists estimate that Mercury's iron core occupies about 42% of its volume and it has a large magnetic field, for Earth this iron core proportion is 17%. Earth however is denser overall.

Mercury's core has a higher iron content than that of any other major planet in the Solar System. Mercury's core makes it the most iron-rich planet in the solar system, with iron accounting for 65-70% of the planet's mass. This should allow us from Earth to see unprecedented Magnetic Field interactions between Comet ISON, Mercury and our Sun.

Oct. 1st to Oct. 3rd comet ISON passed within 6-7 million miles of the north pole of Mars. It will pass above Earth on Dec. 26, approaching within 42 million miles.

Distance of planets from the Sun: Mars 146 million miles, Mercury 32 million, Earth 92 million.

The electrical interaction between Mercury and the comet is illustating Jim McCanney's theory of the electrical nature of the universe, rather than the more accepted view of it being gravitationally oriented. Jim' radio show last Thursday had a lot about that. Fascinating, IMO.

Can you elaborate on why we need to go underground on 11/28? Thanks.
