Earthquakes can be of the Spirit as well, shaking things up, awakening the people, to repent, and atone, and amend their ways and their doings, of worshiping their buildings made, and Commercial Properties gained, above and before, being equal in their temporal things, and this not grudgingly, with the poor among their members.

Truth, what suffers when it is not sought?

Good to seek and to find the truth.

Magnitude 7.7 earthquake hits off Chilean coast
A magnitude 7.7 earthquake occurred off the coast of southern Chile Sunday, 40 km (about 25 miles) southwest of Puerto Quellon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center had issued a tsunami threat message for parts of the Pacific Ocean close to the earthquake; by 10:30 a.m. ET the center said the threat had passed.

A "state of precaution" that had been issued for the region of Los Lagos has been lifted, according to the Chilean Navy Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service.

And Chile's Ministry of the Interior and Public Security canceled the tsunami evacuation for the beach areas near the quake zone.
Shortly after the quake hit, Chilean President Michelle Bachelet posted a tweet expressing support to the people of her country.
"Much strength and mood to the compatriots affected by the earthquake in Chile and other areas of the south! Emergency protocols are already operating," Bachelet tweeted.

2016-12-25 14:22:27 UTC 43.416°S 73.880°W 34.6 km depth

The December 25, 2016, M 7.6 earthquake occurred as the result of shallow thrust faulting in southern Chile. At the location of this earthquake, the oceanic Nazca plate converges with and subducts beneath the South America plate in an east-northeast direction, at a rate of approximately 73 mm/yr. The earthquake location, depth and shallow thrusting focal mechanism solution, all indicate this earthquake likely occurred on the subduction zone interface.

Looking at raw data I don't even see 30 earthquakes greater than or equal to 5.0 in the last seven days. Where are the other 227?
In the last seven days there were 70 earthquakes of 4.5 or greater.

My sister lives in Helena. Pretty weird stuff for Montana. Even getting crazy EQ swarms around Yellowstone. Not cool!

Wow! 6.7 Earthquake in Greece/Turkey and no one is talking about it! Haha, if there is a 2.0 in Utah it makes headlines here and people are thinking that the Wasatch Wake-Up is imminent! Hahahaha!

My cousin lives in Soda Springs and felt that one. There's a couple new aftershocks every hour with 24 quakes in the swarm at the time I posted this.

I am waiting to see if hurricane Irma, makes landfall next week and at what strength, lots of disasters around the world, Australia is in the process of a major drought potential. Time will tell if the SLC EQ start this year, I am also expecting the economy to crash shortly. I think we need to take these things as a warning and pray for guidance.

On the subject of earthquakes, there was a magnitude 6.3 earthquake Sunday morning in North Korea, a man made tremor. If the math was correct that's in the vicinity of a one megaton explosion.

Watching all this earthquake news with a feeling of awe, in the wake of Hurricane Harvey, with Irma tearing through Baja California and an earthquake swarm felt from Idaho to SLC, Utah and over the border in Wyoming. Could Yellowstone's geological activity trigger a Wasatch event?

North Korea: I'm praying for the good people there who have most likely been struck by an experiment gone wrong by their military!

It has been confirmed a nucler test and Japan is saying that the blast was 10 times bigger than precious. NKorea is claiming a hydrogen bomb and also having capability for delivering an EMP.

Irma is in the Atlantic headed toward the Leeward Islands. Where do you get it "tearing through Baja California"?
