I have always been a big fan of Hyrum Andrus' books. It appears from the writings of the chapters above, that it is important for a free and open society to have morals as quoted by the great philosopher Aristotle,
Long ago Aristotle, the great Greek philosopher and political theorist, gave his opinion
that a democratic form of government was the best form of government, providing a high
degree of morality existed among the people. However, he rated the same form of
government as the least to be desired, where moral principle was not the guiding factor in
the lives of the people.
Basic morals that are common among all walks of men should be taught in schools to our youth year after year as a required class. These morals should be pointed out to them how the lessening of these morals weakens our freedom through evil men in high places of government.

It is also pointed out that the founders of our constitution had a struggle with the concept of parties. These were seen as self interested factions. Methods were put in place to limit the influence of such such as separation of powers between government branches and government levels.

Instead of unity among Americans, we have a great divide among political parties.

If we, as Latter-day Saints, are to save the constitution and preserve our freedoms, what can we do to strengthen our constitution bring about a moral and united people of our nation?
