This is really interesting. I remember reading and studying a lot about it back in the 90s when I accepted the conspiracy view of history.

Many of the founding Fathers had practiced and learned law. In fact, at least one of them was a lawyer by trade. Alexander Hammilton, I believe it was.

Thus this supposed amendment makes very much sense. /sarcasm
