Being politically active in a way that will actually make a difference will take far more than signatures, votes, and rallys. Half of the population self identifies with Satan's Party (democrats). Steal from the productive to force dependence on the weak. The people that self identify as Republicans are largely Satanists also since they believe in the evil practice of Obamney Care, illegal immigration, minimum wage, removal of private property rights, increasing the debt ceiling, allowing Hillary freedom from jail, more police, and on and on.

The Republican Party is likely to fail completely as they are not conservative and cave on everything, and actually despise the people that elect them.

The Tea Party started out with a good idea and guts, but they have been infiltrated by commies. We need a new party that is willing to shed blood. To evict every single liberal and progressive. Traitors of the Constitution need to fear for their lives. We can not have freedom until the government fears the people. As long as the people fear the government, we are slaves.

If we do not get an uprising soon, we may as well let Satan run his course until all of the liberals and progressives are dead either from killing each other or from God's wrath.

There will be some enjoyment watching the natural disasters kill people by the millions, but not nearly as much satisfaction as a repentant people that take their country back with the approval and power of God.

As bad as the welfare system is, the corporate welfare system in this country is far worse, stealing from the middle class to give millions to those who are already rich. I include in that any subsidy, bailout, price supports, and legislation that favors one business over another, as well as government "investment" such as has been done in solar power companies and electric cars.

All of the things that you listed ARE terrible, sadly it excluded and included exactly the things that I feel a "typical" LDS would exclude and include. Money to help the poor is considered a great evil (and it is because it was taken by force) but the numerous ways government helps the wealthy are either not known about or ignored.

Amen OI. Crony capitalism / rent seeking / political entrepreneurship are great evils, which literally grinds the poor's faces. All the things you listed, subsidies, bailouts, price supports, and legislation that favors one business over another ought to be abolished, so as to bring about a greater equality among men.

The publicly educated, having been taught socialism in practice and theory for 13+ years, tend to be on the receiving end of government privileges, goods and services and vote accordingly.

The Righteous see government as protection from evil.

Both are at odds in the political arena and at the voting booth.

I'm always delighted to find someone new like CraigNewton who as a brand new member of this forum opened this thread, and who appreciates and has a desire to save the US Constitution. As I read following posts I thought of the statement by President McKay: "Next to being one in worshiping God, there is nothing in this world upon which this Church should be more united than in upholding and defending the Constitution of the United States."

For whatever reasons, it seems that more and more people are awakening to our "awful situation", are surfacing who have concerns about the deteriorating of freedom in America, and have a desire to do what they can to save this nation. "Although we're few in number. we're the finest in the land".

Did you like seeing all the dead bodies from that Indonesian tsunami? That was great, wasn't it? Lots of dead children to gawk over. That one in Japan was even better, with all the video footage we got from it. Especially watching that old lady try to run up the hill to escape the rising water, but she was just too old and slow. Wasn't that cool?

Good thing none of that's going to happen to us, since we're God's Chosen!

THANK YOU!!! This has been my point for some time now. The dumb-as-craps will get society dead faster because the repubi-can'ts have to pay not onli lip service but an actual amount (a tiny one, mind you) of actual service toward their conservative base.

Both sides (I'm talking about actual people, not politicians) extol the virtues of liberty. The liberals believe the noble government will give it to them once they pry it from the greedy hands of those horrible conservatives. The conservatives believe they have the need to stand up for liberty themselves because the PEOPLE should have the power, not the tyrant.
