Re: Talking War and Peace with Conservatives
Not to derail, but there is more prophecy and revelation in the first 30 minutes of this podcast than there has been uttered at General Conference in the last 10 years.

Yes, excellent preview by Angela Keaton of antiwar.com on her upcoming debate during Freedom Fest in Las Vegas (July 8th). Among other things, a small but important attempt to bring true anti-war sentiment back into the Conservative mainstream.ajax wrote:Good podcast on war.

I've always been glad for the efforts of Justin Raimondo over the years.
Here's a nice quote from the antiwar.com web site from an old-time paleoconservative:
Another quote from the same site:Criticism in a time of war is essential to the maintenance of any kind of democratic government.
– Sen. Robert Taft, (R) Ohio
In 1952, Garet Garrett, one of the last of the Old Right "isolationists," said it well:
"Between government in the republican meaning, that is, Constitutional, representative, limited government, on the one hand, and Empire on the other hand, there is mortal enmity. Either one must forbid the other or one will destroy the other."
