I was at work......my boss is LDS, my co worker is LDS and we have two part timers who are NOT.

My boss asked me to not speak about the church while at work!!!! becuase there are the two employees who are not and some of our customers are not.

Um.................................After I picked myself up off the floor. I have been in a confused state of mind sinse!!

It should be noted that no discussion of any sort of doctrine has EVER been discussed. Just simple, oh I went visiting teaching or he is off his mission.

Im the new boss (only LDS) in and old office and can see not reading directly out of the BOM and preaching to people, but I think he took it too far... you may want to ask him for an explanation when things are slow and he can explain himself... he may be feeling pressure from somewhere else. Good luck its a tough situation

Maybe doing the work you are to paid do would suffer if you were to start using company time to preach.

I agree with him. Let your preaching be your hard work and your example, your manners and appearance. You will get your opportunity to talk Church.

It's fine balance between you being pushy and your boss silencing you. No one is forcing you to work there or him to keep you there. Do what is right, and let the consequence follow. Only the Lord can tell you what that right thing is though.

10.write your testimony in a couple of Book of Mormons and just "accidentally" leave them on your desk
