I live near D.C. and it infuriates me at the ingnorance of the people who want D.C. to gain statehood, and the idiots who have taken a permanent residence within her borders who insist they are being taxed without representation. It is another glaring example of people who set at naught our founding fathers, their wisdom, and what the reasons for making it so.
Instead of pushing to grant satehood, they should pass a law making it illegal to have a permanent residence within the borders. Then the matter is solved.

All too true Johnny. I guess that is the issue. I guess the D.C. issue is only a small part of undoing what was not intended.
