Some have said that the United Nations is a Heavenly institution designed to rid the world of war, and prepare for the Second Coming of Christ. While other contend it is designed to bring about a tyrannical world government where Satan’s plan of human slavery can be instituted.

We will now examine the facts and find out of the United Nations is God’s government in embryo, or Satan’s plan of tyranny on earth by comparing God’s revealed pattern for government with those of the UN.

The creation of the U.N. was essentially the first step towards setting up a one world government. Is it good or evil? The U.N. once sponsored a national endeavor to supply our elementary schools with condoms for our kids and how many of its so-called 'leaders' (Kofi Annan, etc.) have been charged with fraud, money-laundering and other criminal mischief? One world government would be good if we could guarantee that we could always have a righteous king. But because this world is fallen, and we cannot guarantee that we will always have a righteous king, and realizing how much sin and suffering a wicked king can cause, and that the only way to get rid of a wicked king once he has power is by bloody revolution, God has instructed us to do our business by the voice of the people, because the majority of the people tend to desire that which is correct and right.

This lesson is the lesson of the Tower of Babel. God did not destroy Babel because of the tower. The tower was just a symbol and manifestation of the extent of their corruption. The problem with the people of Babel,is that they people were one people, one culture, one language, one religion, and one god, and that one god was not Him.

So, God confounded the languages and created the nations, and out of all of them, only Abraham, Israel, and the Jaredites choose to have Him as their God.

There is only one world govt that I seek: that which will be inexistence during the Millenium. I have reason to believe that the Millenium may begin in the latter part of 2012. Tribulations and judgements are rapidly coming upon the earth. Jesus said he would speed up events as His coming became closer. The big event that I'm looking for is the Abomination of Desolation where the man of sin speaks from the Temple saying he is God. The only Christian or Jewish group who has TEmples is the LDS. What could this possible mean?
