Well, think of what happened when the earth changed when the Saviour was killed. Think of all of the cities submerged over by Cuba in the Caribbean.

I think the the folks that created the US Naval maps are just wishfully thinking SLC would become submerged. =))

...but Cuba is much closer to sea level than Utah. An earthquake powerful enough to bring Utah down to sea level is powerful enough to awaken the Yellowstone caldera, the New Madrid fault-line, the San Andreas fault-line, and many other faults across the planet.
