I like the points made here but you have to remember. God set up the constitution with righteous men of the time. What was done later was of course done by free will. I think most everyone here on the forum as well as other God revering people have come to the point of near total disappointment. I, for one, get consumed with "why won't people wake up and get things back to where they belong?" I see it as a stumbling block, in that I see the country going down the toilet, spiraling into oblivion, and we can't do anything to stop it. My guts twist and wrench just thinking about it.
