This one is beautiful. I'm fighting a cold so I won't be sharing much today. But this one is worth sharing.

Although my beliefs have evolved and I don't agree with every song, I also listen to K-Love - it tends to be more encouraging and uplifting than most other radio stations.

A few of my favorites:

Matthew West is my favorite:

Jaci Valesquez also has some great songs...

Yeah, I'm the same way. I don't relate to many songs, but I've had a gut full of the garbage playing on all the other stations. And K-Love has enough beautiful songs that I do relate to. I'm mostly drawn to those that focus no praising our Savior, but there are others that certainly resonate with me like the one at the top of this thread, "Even If."

That's a good song - reminds me of striving to be content in all circumstances, and to truly love God above all.
I've been thinking about what that really means - and that song might explain it well.

Marc, thanks for this thread. I've learned of some new songs that are good. :ymhug:

Went to a Chris Tomlin concert (Phil Wickham, Big Daddy Weave and Zach Williams also there). It was one of the spiritual highlights of my life. I took my dad, whom I've converted to Christian music and he also agreed and absolutely loved it. There is something about singing along with 10,000 other people of like mind to the most high God that is electric. Definitely spirit filled. I can't say how amazing it was. Highly reccomend going to a concert if you have the chance.

Although this was not the concert I attended, this video can give you a sense of how fun and amazing it was.

I agree 100%!!! I attended a Mercy Me concert about a month ago and it was a wonderful experience. Praise and worshipping our loving Father and His Son was a fantastic experience. Worship music of all kinds has brought me out of the depths of despair. It changes things in an instant. Thank you Marc for starting this thread! :ymhug:

There are songs that are not by typically religious artists, but are still spiritual.
IE:
Angels Among Us. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=PB7mDvfLhrg

Perhaps Love ("God is Love.")

Lay down your burdens. If you're feeling heavy with sin, lay them down. Cry out to Jesus as Alma did. He is quick to forgive and mighty to save. He will take them from you.

Thank you all. I have been sharing these with my sister in law whose husband just left her and has decided to come back to church. She has been listening to them and has been uplifted. Keep 'em coming.

I really love the feeling and tone of this song. I wish I could have been there at the concert with them. Really feeling this one today:

My contribution to the LDSFF Sunday evening worship service :-) I'm really digging this Kari Jobe stuff, it's a good replacement for the heavy metal I used to listen to.

I'm loving it, too. I can't remember the last time I tuned in to Aerosmith or Skid Row or AC/DC. To quote Bob Seger, today's music ain't got the same soul. But many of the songs I listen to on K Love touch me so deeply, they literally bring tears to my eyes on the drives home from work.

Hillsong has two groups: Hillsong Worship and Hillsong United. Both sing beautiful music. I shared this one on the previous page, but it's so soothing and uplifting, I'll share it here again, but this time a live version (though it moves faster). I love the imagery in the lyrics:

.
Here's the studio version, which is cleaner and more soothing:
