I'm loving it, too. I can't remember the last time I tuned in to Aerosmith or Skid Row or AC/DC. To quote Bob Seger, today's music ain't got the same soul. But many of the songs I listen to on K Love touch me so deeply, they literally bring tears to my eyes on the drives home from work.

Hillsong has two groups: Hillsong Worship and Hillsong United. Both sing beautiful music. I shared this one on the previous page, but it's so soothing and uplifting, I'll share it here again, but this time a live version (though it moves faster). I love the imagery in the lyrics:

Here's the studio version, which is cleaner and more soothing:

"Transfiguration"

From the cloud You speak
What was veiled now is seen
Jesus the image of
The invisible God
Divinity confirmed
In the transfigured Word
A kingdom once concealed
On the earth now revealed

Holy is the Lord revealed before my eyes
And my burning heart can scarcely take it in
As I behold your beauty with unworthy eyes
The only song my soul can find to sing
Is Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah my King

Lead my longing heart
To the high ground, to the clear view
And in awe I'll be there
Beholding You

Holy is the Lord revealed before my eyes
And my burning heart can scarcely take it in
As I behold your beauty with unworthy eyes
The only song my soul can find to sing
Is Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah my King

... Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah my King

Now I know
I have seen
The glory that cannot be unseen
I am changed
Changing still
As I look upon the Lord and believe

Holy is the Lord revealed before my eyes
And my burning heart can scarcely take it in
As I behold your beauty with unworthy eyes
The only song my soul can find to sing
Is Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah my King

... Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah my King [x4]

Some favorites from the band Unspoken, which I love bc my kids like them too. My sister found this first one when she needed a miracle...
This one is a personal favorite. The more you listen the better it gets but do yourself a favor and don't watch the video, just listen...
This one is a classic...

Love this one...

This one is different but great, sort of a spiritual. Worth a listen...

Some amazingly sung lyrics about the hope and promise for being in that beautiful and longed for City of Zion...

I had to put in a different link bc the last one I put here had too many lyrics written down wrong.

The above song is a song I need to hear all of the time. I didn't know what it meant at first. Now I totally get it. It is a good one.

I think I've heard people compare Lauren Daigle to Adele. When I listened to one of her songs on the radio, I thought it was Adele at first until I doubled checked the station I was listening to.

I was trying to wait for Christmas but that's too far away. Here is my favorite Laren Daigle song written by my favorite artist Chris Tomlin. It is on his album Adore.

I turned on the radio today on the way home from church and this song was playing. I've made the leap from looking at trials as punishment to seeing them as chastening and an opportunity to learn something. But this song showed me a new perspective, I think, where trials are actually God's mercy. If only we could see all things as He sees them.
