Good point. Though a lot of people in the world do missions with their entire families so maybe that would be an option if men weren't tied to their careers.Spaced_Out wrote: ↑April 7th, 2017, 12:45 amWhat do you woman do when children have flown the nest or those that cant have children. What do retired persons do!!!
To me it is a stupid question the plan of salivation is the work of God "To bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of Man" His work is our work so one gets engaged in the work more fully. Having a career is mostly a distraction. Most of those that have the means go on a number of senior missions.
Travelling the world while still having young children is not very wise.
Men, if you weren't providing for your families, what would you be doing?

I think that if the role of a man changes based on the sphere they reside in, then the role of a woman also changes. If that is the case, I think many men would/will still be doing whatever it is that brings the woman joy in her role... so that they can have joy.

Difference of opinion on this one. I pulled out everything worth watching on Netflix in the few months I had it. You'd be out of luck in under a year, my friend.

Or maybe the reverse applies in higher spheres . . .Jeremy wrote: ↑April 7th, 2017, 9:53 am I think that if the role of a man changes based on the sphere they reside in, then the role of a woman also changes. I suspect the roles merge closer together as male/female progress closer to unity.Meili wrote:Or maybe the reverse applies in higher spheres . . .

I would be ministering - a full time home teacher, if you will, both to members of my ward, but also members of my community.

So what does that look like? Teaching the gospel? Mowing their lawns? Parting the Red Seas in their lives . . . ?endlessismyname wrote: ↑April 7th, 2017, 3:41 pm I would be ministering - a full time home teacher, if you will, both to members of my ward, but also members of my community.

I'll never get tired of Archer. No matter how many times I re-watch it.
But I'm a simple guy.

Well... Seems like I'd still be working. Providing content for all of ya'll to watch is a lot of work!!
In all honesty if all basic needs were met and money was absolutely no problem I'd spend more time with familia. In addition to that I'd still be in the film industry. It's something I thoroughly enjoy. I'd just be more picky pertaining to what I work on
