A most interesting word came across in the Book of Enoch, I had not seen used in the standard "One Stick", was the word "rectitude" in Chapter X verse 21---

"Let the plant of righteousness and of rectitude appear, and its produce become a blessing"

Was unfamiliar with this word "rectitude", and looked it up with a Synonym Finder, and found this---

"Moral virtue, moral strength, integrity, probity, morality, uprightness, rightness, goodness, virtuousness, righteousness, honorableness, honor, virtue, decency, upstandingness, respectability, good character, veracity, honesty, truthfullness, credibility, guilelessness, scrupulousness, impeccability, unimpeachability, irreproachability, uncorruptness, cleanness, sinlessness, purity, innocence, immaculateness, immaculacy, spotlessness, stainlessness, saintliness, godliness, chasity, pudicity, modesty, unlicentiousness, undisoluteness, correctness, soundness, accuracy, precision, exactness, exactitude, validity, verity, justness, accordance, closeness, nicety, fidelity, faithfulness, literalness."

Was surprized to find such a word, of such a wide description of something good, here in "The Book Of Enoch The Prophet".

Good to learn of "rectitude" become a blessing, planted with delight.

For in verse 23 of this chapter is written---

"Then shall all the saints give thanks, and live until they have begotten a thousand children, while in the whole period of their youth, and their sabbaths shall be completed in peace."

A good time to look forward to, should you be found, one of righteousness and "rectitude".

Yes "rectitude", something wonderful, the descendants of Enoch, and the children of Israel, to be instructed in, that the people and all their offspring, become a blessing, unto God, and for us all.

Truly the word of God unto Enoch, that he took the time to write down, those things important, to future generations, to see, and to read about.

Good to see, what Enoch took the time to write, important, for our day and time.

Doctrine and Covenants 107:57 given March 28, 1835---

"These things were all written in the book of Enoch, and are to be testified of in due time."

In the year 1773, after a period of almost total obscurity lasting 1500 years, the Scottish explorer, James Bruce, discovered in what is now Ethiopia, The Book of Enoch.

It sits in the Bodleian Library at Oxford, where it was translated, by Richard Laurence, and put into print, out of London in 1883, some 48 years, after Joseph Smith said it would be in due time.

Sad, Joseph Smith was not still alive to read and give his thoughts on this book, he would have been around 92 years old, had he lived long enough to see it put out in print.

Would truly like to have had his thoughts as well, after reading this book, as it is full of symbolisms, types and shadows, of things that were, are, and things to be.

But there is also much written plainly, for all to see, how they should be, a good book to have in your collection, and to go through and read well, and come to see, what God told Enoch, and what he wrote down, he felt we should see.

What is written herein?

"The word of the blessing of Enoch, how he blessed the elect and the righteous, who were to exist in the time of trouble; rejecting all the wicked and ungodly."
(See Chapter 1, verse 1)

Good to be blessed, elect and righteous, and to read what it was, that Enoch said.

"But in those days blessed shall they be, to whom the word of wisdom is delivered; who point out and pursue the path of the Most High; who walk in the way of righteousness, and who act not impiously with the impious. They shall be saved."

"Elected for their good works duly weighed by the Lord of spirits"

Good to bring forth the fruit of "good works", those that relieve oppression, heavy burdens, and yokes, off the backs of your fellow children of God.

The last shepherds, in his book, destroy all the blind sheep.

Be not a blind sheep, whose grasp, "The Beast of Ignorance", does tie and bind, and carry away captive, to claim as his.

"If" you know it is wrong, turn away, and follow not this beast, that uses the "Precepts Of Men", to carry away the souls of men, captive with him.

Do a personal book report, upon "all" the things Jesus Christ, has said "to do", and "to be like", and "to know".

Yes, memorize all his words upon the table of your heart, inscribed, and baptized deep within his words, where there is not even "a toe" sticking out of his words, you do not know.
