Sisters serving missions & forgoing marriage?

Post by Darren »

The Sisters should not be serving missions by postponing marriage and putting off having children. This teaching is one of many sins perpetuated by our people, and is hastening the Cleansing.

Plato taught in his book, "The State" also known in English as "The Republic," the teachings of forgoing marriage of men and women for building a better state. This teaching has persisted today in the Orthodox Culture taught at the University.

When Christ came with the 12 apostles to Nordic Europe he taught his Law at his temple, as recorded in the memory of the Nordic Culture, that the young men must, quoting Jesus Christ, "bring your women to my Temple and there both give me your eye, as I have given my eye to my Father, then I will show you how to live together and give life together in a state purer than you knew when you were little children, for then you will BE Wed; and that is my name. Then you will live together in my Law: Wed-lock. Then you will have a father-in-law, mother-in-law etc."

Sisters in the Law Culture generally do not serve missions but instead focus on their Kraft of Womanhood and Motherhood , Brothers take upon themselves the obligations to do among many things, go out beyond the safety of their society to defend and promote the goodly society.

Only the men obligate themselves to go on missions, the women are absolutely exempt from doing so.

The traditional Nordic Culture that also continued as the New England Culture of Joseph Smith (D&C 86:8-11) absolutely defined separate men's and women's kraft (spelled the Germanic way). Wedlock was, from time immemorial, a commandment from the Lord to marry and have children, in a culture that got the young men apprentices and young ladies wed and having children early in their lives.

It is the Orthodox Culture that lumps men and women together as assets of the State to be equally responsible to the State, telling them to forgo marriage and family life, becoming a bachelor at Socrates' University, and continue to live as servants of the State for the rest of their lives.

The Orthodox Religion was identified in the pre-1990s Temple Endowment Ceremony as the False Religion. Our people are not looking for answers about that, or there is a Gross Darkness upon our people to not see something hidden in plain sight. Just like Hugh Nibley telling the people at two different main BYU graduations, that the black robes worn on that day are from a false priesthood, and as Brother Nibley put it, "Nobody asked me why I would say such a thing."

When Noah and his family got off the boat, two cultures were eventually created, and have persisted since then. One culture is the Patriarchal Culture of Law. the other is the Orthodox Culture of Babylon (that some man among us is smarter than the rest and thereby gets to govern those inferior to him [Aristotle's book The Meno]).

ALL ISSUES AND PROBLEMS TODAY CAN BE UNDERSTOOD FROM KNOWING ABOUT THESE TWO CULTURES.

There is only one true paradigm, all the rest are false. And having the sisters serve missions is evidence (just as those black robes are) of our people traveling along a false paradigm. Just as the children of Israel wandered for 40 years in the wilderness, and sought to do contrary to the true order, to Moses' and Joshua's dismay. So too Church Members today wander in the wilderness of Babylon and the Orthodox Culture, not living up to the call of our prophets and Law/Zion Society.

In the pre-1990s temple endowment ceremony, it was identified that the great false religion was the "Orthodox Religion." That teaching was terminated in the temples because of the interference of that Orthodox Religion in the lives of the Members of the expanding True Church, for the purpose of allowing the True Church to penetrate into the strongholds of that false Orthodox Religion, and not calling attention to that teaching from the endowment.

As the Mormon Culture slides more and more into the Orthodox Culture we will see things like the young sisters forgoing marriage for the elusive dream of financial security and illusions of being on a Tower of Babel in Satan's Orthodox State.

Among my feelings about the sisters serving at younger ages are that it is an effect of our culture digressing into Babylon, and if we had Zion with us, there would be no need to promote missions for young sisters. But since putting off marriage is the thing to do now, the Church is making the best of it.

God Bless,
Darren

Here we go again, once again, somebody using the old against the new to counsel the living oracles. The only thing here at present hastening the cleansing is people that speak against the Lord's anointed. The old temple ceremony as evidence to trump the new order. Somebody that thinks they know better than living prophets what the Lord would have young women do at the present time, quoting former commandments as if the law of Moses trumps the law of living prophets. Same old fundamentalist song and dance put in new clothing. seeking to counsel their God and the Lord's Anointed.

"Behold, I say unto you that all old covenants have I caused to be done away in this thing; and this is a new and an everlasting covenant . . . for you cannot enter in at the strait gate by the law of Moses, neither by your dead works . . . Wherefore, enter ye in at the gate, as I have commanded, and seek not to counsel your God. Amen." (D&C 22)

Nice gesture Helaman but you're simply wrong. Our young women need to be forced into marriage and motherhood while they're young. Agency to serve a mission is only for men.

Clearly the scriptures teach that women should not serve, even if they have desires to-

3 Therefore, if ye have desires to serve God ye are called to the work;

4 For behold the field is white already to harvest; and lo, he that thrusteth in his sickle with his might, the same layeth up in store that he perisheth not, but bringeth salvation to his soul;

5 And faith, hope, charity and love, with an eye single to the glory of God, qualify him for the work.

There's no she or her about it :-B

I'm pretty sure Mark is the king of Babylon because his daughter is out sharing the gospel as a missionary. He should have forced his daughter to marry Zionlist, the guy who was preparing to be a polygamist by adding on to his house :ymparty: . Haven't seen him around for a while. I haven't seen ChelC around either :-? :-ss

I believe the previous age for sisters was more anti-marriage than this one. Before it seemed more of an either/or scenario. Now it seems much more likely for sisters to do both, and at timely ages ... they can be home at 20 and 1/2!

I believe Paul preached that remaining celibate was preferable to marrying.
No, Paul did not preach that. The misunderstanding of those verses is one reason for the celibacy of the Catholic clergy for all these years. If you read the chapter heading that is above those verses, it says, "Paul provides counsel to those on missions."

Paul was saying it was best not to marry while on a mission, but to remain celibate. But if you were not able, it was better to marry than to burn.

Nothing to do with regular civilian (non-mission) life whatsoever.

Going on missions earlier gives the young women a better chance to better disconnect from the unnatural government school socialist culture and environment that was forced on them for 13 years.

I think a mission would give the sisters a breather and a better selection of young men.

Too many of our young women get married to government school class mates.

If their are no elegable young men type prospects...why not go on a mission for 18 months... and perhaps the grass will be get greener

The commandment for the young women to serve missions has never been uttered by any Prophet or Apostle. But the commandment to multiply and replenish the earth has. So why are so many young women preparing to go on missions? Because it is similar to the worldly practice of entering into the Service Sector of the Catholic Assembly, turning your life over to the State, and that has become quite politically correct for young women and their University (Tower of Babel) trained parents.

The belief that our daughters should go on missions and thereby forgo marriage and childbearing, even temporarily, is a falsehood perpetuated by the Mormon Culture and has absolutely no basis in ancient or modern scripture. Mormon Culture is responsible for this and other sins of the parents being heaped upon the heads of the children. The parents are guilty of the sin of not living up to their temple covenant to build up Zion Society.

If the young women want to go on a mission, the Church makes that available, but the young sisters are under no commandment to do so.

Darren

Don't worry Darren, at least a few of those sisters are out there in the mission field making an honest effort to scope marriage prospects from among the elders. In the meantime, since we're lowering the age for elders, maturity and common sense will be sorely needed from the sister missionaries to keep things on track.

As for me, I'm still waiting for real source text on Christ's ministrations in Europe, and remain skeptical on the Nordic story until I see it.

I, personally, think that all of the girls who are willing should go on a mission. It is an incredibly empowering experience. It builds confidence. Two of my friends went on missions. I had been roommates with them (at different times) so I knew them quite well. They had insecurities. When they returned from their missions, their confidence boost was incredible, and was a big factor in my decision to go. I wanted that confidence for myself.

Instead of going from daddy to husband, basically a child handed from one male to another, the girl becomes a woman - hopefully one who has learned to rely on God and the Spirit rather than a male caretaker. I am 100% for sisters going on missions and think the age reduction is wonderful and definitely inspired.

I agree with you on this one. When in the entire scriptures did woman go on official set apart missions? They cannot baptize, lay on the hands for the Holy Ghost, etc, but they can be a wife, and bear children, and be awesome mothers (as the commandments indicate!

As for the whole idea of it being a bad thing to hand a daughter from the father to the husband THAT IS THE PATRIARCHAL ORDER OF GOD and all the great patriarchs followed this order.

Woman have their wonderful duty in God well written for everyone to see, instead many seem to be caught up in an out of order practice that appears good, but is not their proper duties.

No matter what anyone thinks of the sisters serving missions one thing is clear, with the age change there will be a vast expansion of the number of sister missionaries. It is even conceivable that with in a very few year the majority of missionaries will be young women.

Also all I keep reading is more missionaries = more members. What of the few? We long put away missions without purse and script thereby foregoing much of the spirit. It is about tracking and numbers now. No more quality, and it shows in how many lds who seem to have no clue about true liberty.

Oh the good ole days. Missionaries who were let loose to do the work of The Lord with trust by the spirit finding the few. Now it is missionaries who are micro managed and burdened by many rules as if they are some military peasant. You know lights out at such and such, can't call home much because you might get distracted, etc. I thought these men held the high priesthood but they have to have dumb rules telling them what day they can do such and such.

And now the woman thing explodes. It fits into the Babylon woman lib thing. We don't need a man, we can do what they can do. Heck, even the rlds gave the woman the priesthood, are we next? Why would any woman want to forego her duties listed in scripture to do things not listed in scripture?

Lets just say this, every woman I have known who is meek and desires to be a help meet to the man is repulsed by the woman mission thing, because it is not their duty or desire to do a mans work. All the woman I know who want to go on missions also want to rule the man and wear the pants so to speak. Few vs many.

What you state here is so offensive. When are our men going to stand up and choose righteousness? When are our men going to stop sinning with pornography? Our children need mothers with a better knowledge of the gospel. Lowering the age for sisters makes it possible for them to serve a mission and not put off having a family. We will be better off as a whole with stronger mothers.

Sorry you are offended, but the strongest woman I know in the gospel are all repulsed by the mission thing for females. Why are these woman strong in The Lord? Because they know the scriptures. These woman want to serve god by following their womanly duties as god has stated in the written word which states nothing of putting off families and doing mans work of the priesthood. I think this is what darren is trying to say. I think we probably will have to agree to disagree.

The sister missionaries do a wonderful job in the mission fields. In many cases it is so much easier for investigators to relate to an understanding woman. I personally think the age should be lowered to seventeen.

Amen, Nan.

And you men who want to marry women who are little obedient chattel, more power to you. I married someone who considered "his" wife and kids his property, much like a suitcase or his horses. It was a living hell. I am seeing like minds in this thread.

A woman who has spent a year or two spreading her wings and gaining spiritual understanding through serving the Lord is no threat to a confident, God-fearing man. A "real man" wants a partner, not a baby, not a servant, not property. A "real man" is not threatened by the idea of a woman spending a year and a half talking to people about the gospel. She is not in competition with him. She is not trying to diminish his manhood. Why, then, does he think she is?

This would be a very good idea, Sarah. There were people who related to us, houses we got into that the elders (who replaced us in that area) could not - because the people saw those suits and thought, "narcotics agents". They saw us and thought, "religious women" and we were given respect because of it. Even though it was a violent part of town (the reason we were extradited), we were safer than the elders because the people in the neighborhood respected "religious women".
