Compared to most college cheerleader outfits these are at least much more conservative. Then again I assume there are people who think this is "walking pornography."
Hey the cougar is not wearing clothes! sorry I couldn't resist.

If the cheerleaders grew as much hair on their legs as the cougar did I don't think that nudity would be their biggest problem.

She is a public figure. She wanted to be in the public's eye, set out to be in the public's eye and got into the public's eye. This is actually quite significant and relevant. Do you see no difference between somebody showing up at a ward dance with a skirt that is too short and somebody who goes onto a TV show that is broadcast around the world and mirrored on youtube declaring "look at me!"?

Private actions are private. Public actions are public. Public actions are fair game for comment, discussion, criticism, support, fans, foes and whatever. Her light is up on the hill for all to see - should we just ignore it? Did you ever comment on any public forum anywhere that Michael Vic was doing something wrong? Have you ever posted anything, anywhere about a president or a senator doing something inappropriate? Have you ever chewed out anybody else because they stated that the actions of a person or corporation were out of line? If not, why not?
So because she has access to this forum in theory, you have a green light to say whatever you wish? Let her worry about tracking down any threads on the web if she desires to defend herself? Talk about grasping at straws. Also, the fact that you actually believe her position is similar to that of a president or senator is astonishing. Politicians are servants of the people who have received delegated authority from the people and are thus answerable to us. This girl has nothing do do with the stewardship of any of us. If you dislike how she dances or what she wears you have all the control in the world....you just change the channel.

If you put as much effort into promoting positive examples in dress and dance as you've given to criticizing this one girl we would all be better off... and maybe this thread wouldn't reak as bad as it does.

A guy in my mission wrote a song about how this statue on BYU's campus is breaking the honor code. The song talks about his skimpy loincloth and asks, "what's he got in that peace pipe?". I wish I had an mp3 of it to post. It was hilarious!

There have been far more personal attacks and judgments against me than against her. And there weren't even any against her (unless you think that "her" includes "dress").

But positive example in dress and dance. Easy - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=811kp3Of19Q" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Here are some more positive examples in dress and dance.

I even found a tango with a fairly modest costume without any trouble.

Do so and go to the photo page of Google.

Anyone talk with their bishops lately? :))

Most of those photos are modest by today's standards.

Here's a link to a visual search on what cheerleaders are wearing today. BYU cheerleaders are definitely modest in comparison:

Is that for real or are those imposters who somehow got their hands on BYU uniforms?

Obesity is more dangerous than smoking cigarettes. Just saying.

I have no idea. I thought they were all real. Well, maybe not the one of the two men dressed up like girls.

If so it is not so much the exposed bodies of these young women, some of which may be married and have been through the temple, but the pose itself. Sorry, if they were wearing jogging sweats the pose would be what I would consider questionable.
