Where in scripture are we told that prophets are required to see Jesus face top face in order to be considered a prophet? Robert, there is not one person on this earth that does not sin one way or another, not one. To place such ridiculous conditions on someone is beyond reason. We are told to follow the prophet by Jesus Christ, himself, and this is all there is to it. Was he not mocked, spit upon, treated like crap by others as well. But it didn't change who he was and is one iota, did it?
How many times does this scripture have to be posted before someone will have their light come on?

Moroni 10:32,33 This applies to anyone seeking salvation in the kingdom of God, anyone that gets baptized under proper authority, anyone committed to keeping the commandments and striving to live as Christ taught.

32 Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ; and if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in nowise deny the power of God.
33 And again, if ye by the grace of God are perfect in Christ, and deny not his power, then are ye sanctified in Christ by the grace of God, through the shedding of the blood of Christ, which is in the covenant of the Father unto the remission of your sins, that ye become holy, without spot.

Please digest this scripture and then apply the meaning to the very prophets, called by God, that they are sanctified in Christ, are holy, have their sins remitted and then without spot.

To claim otherwise is to deny the power of God. Just who do you think either remitted your sins or can do so? Let's give our prophet and leaders more credit than to assume they are not perfect in Christ.

Why do you or any other uninformed people keep having to cast doubts. The gospel is lived individually not collectively. There are lots of church members that have much sin inside because they do not repent and seek forgiveness. Instead, they, at times, try to cover their sins with false pretense of being righteous...but God knows who are clean before him and those not. An unrighteous church President would not be able to lead and would become a stumbling block to the body of the church.

When they do their best no less than the rest of us...let's not worry about how many times they saw Jesus. What really matters is how we act, what we do in the name of righteous, and how we conduct ourselves.
Some of us just may be increasingly much less than those we are quick to judge.

This is my way of weeping and howling and sounding the alarm. Should we all not heed the voice of God coming to us right from the pages of scripture? Then we can worry about our own timing as to when the face of Jesus can be revealed, when God feels we are ready to see it.

Please consider the written words in this post and not bypassing them with other questions geared to ignore the answers needed for understanding by those casting doubts. This weeping, howling and sounding the alarm is right in scripture if one truly looks for it. We are to become like Christ is, not the other way around.

Oh, great, just great. Using the words in this chapter to discredit, to cast ugliness unto our prophets so people will not consider anyone as being righteous enough to be a mouthpiece for God? This is unbelievable.

Does this say ALL PROPHETS, or just any bad ones? This doesn't even come close to your analysis and evil thoughts toward our living, righteous prophets. Men's thoughts and supposed wisdom is but foolishness before God.

Much clearer than you give credit for in their behalf. You deny the power of God by these inflicted judgements being cast upon our church leaders and prophet. Judgement that is not yours to make, only to follow them as told to by God himself. Anything they may do wrong will be answered for by them as it is any of us.
By their works, right? When is the last time a prophet told us to ignore scripture, to steal, to commit adultery, to hate our neighbor or to treat each other as hell-bound nutcases?
Justification for not following our prophet is sin. Let's begin here and move forward.

Where is your absolute proof of the poor being ignored? Tithing being held back? Do you not know the Lord teaches self reliance? Do you not know thatr we are to earn our keep by he sweat of our own brow? Do you need scriptures before you will believe this?
Charity starts with each of us, not by complaint of what the church as a whole does. They do send food to he poor and destitute. I myself have benefited by getting food from the church a few times. It's called the welfare program. But I didn't expect to stay on the program for years on end, this is not what its designed for. Self reliance is needed. Our giving to the poor is a directive by God that we, the members, are to learn and do. After all, are we all considered as beggars? Do we not ask God for something each day? Expecting the church to compensate for our lack of charity doesn't hold water.
And it certainly doesn't justify cutting down the church and its leaders, not by a long shot.

Become "one" with Christ.

God the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost are "one".

All the scriptures, the stick of Judah and the stick of Ephraim...which is the bible, the Book of Mormon, Pearl of Great Price and the Doctrine and Covenants are "one" in our hand.

The Book of Mormon contains the fullness of the gospel, helping us to become "one" with the Savior.

So every"one" can become "one" with Christ and "one" in truth.

It's really based on how we go about it. You left out the house of Israel, of which, the Gentles are adopted into. The Lord is going about gathering the house of Israel. Christ is of that lineage being Jewish himself.
If we're going to sound an alarm, let's do it in behalf of all of God's chosen people, even our modern day prophets, There are the church of God and the church of the devil, the whore of all the earth.

2 Nephi 28:18
18 But behold, that great and abominable church, the whore of all the earth, must tumble to the earth, and great must be the fall thereof.

It is true, that from Peter's day that church he set up fell away, from all things common among them.

And it is true that once the fullness was set up by Jesus Christ among the Nephites of all things common among them, they had this until the 201st year had passed away, but then they began to fall away, becoming divided into classes of rich and poor.

But among the people of Joseph Smith, ever so quickly did they reject the fullness of the Gospel, never to return thus far.

Good to return, this coming October General Conference, that they also not remain joined with the Mother of Harlots and Whore of all the earth of inequality, and classes of rich and poor, but to become equal in their temporal things and this not grudgingly, as God has commanded. ♡

God says we can identify His servants by their fruits. God's servants are everywhere. We just have to be able to hear them. In order to hear them we must understand how God speaks. We need to learn to hear and to obey God's voice and then we will be able to hear and follow the voice of His servants.

We can know the truth of all things by the Spirit.

Not title or position makes one a servant of God. Being placed in to a position and being given a title does not make one so. My grandmother and mother raped me repeatedly between the ages of 4-6. They had the title and the position but they abused it. Titles and positions are meaningless unless the inward vessel is clean.

We don't need to reject God's servants just because they aren't speaking from the pulpit at general conference. As we learn to hear God's voice, we will learn to hear His servants, wherever they may be.

It will help you if you do a personal hand written copy of everything Jesus Christ has said to do, and every single way that Jesus Christ has said to be like, and every single thing that Jesus Christ has said to know. Start with Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and 3rd Nephi. For the parables write down what you feel the message is Jesus is making.

Read this report over and over, day and night laboring to memorize all these things.

Then finish the balance of the "One Stick" of all these things as well.

Keep and treasure this report and xerox copies and store where you can refer to it often.

Also to help you listen to audio versions of the scriptures day and night while you are unable to read. You can even play the scriptures all night long on low in the background, saying your prayers at night, that the Lord will allow these words of his to enter into your heart.

Put his words you may struggle with upon your walls and doors and cabinets and anywhere it might help remind you to look, these are things Moses taught, of the Lord to help the people learn the words of God.

Once you have memorized all his words, you will see this is of more worth to your very soul, than all the wealth of the entire world, and no one will be able to mislead you, or take away this knowledge from you, if you always hold fast to the words of God given through the Savior of this world, even the LORD Jesus Christ.

Any man not doing all these things you will come to know perfectly.

Good to have this knowledge and follow these instructions yourself, keeping all his commandments, notwithstanding all those who will call you a fool and even worse, they may get angry at you and wish to harm you or even kill you, so be wise but harmless always watchful as Jesus Christ has said.

I am only a brother and fellow servant, but I do care and desire that others come to know these things as I have come to know them or even far greater.

May God bless you in this search of all his words of great counsel and commandments, that you may feed his sheep and help him in this great work, of redeeming and building Zion. ♡

Servants of God better be just that, servants of God, not a wolf in sheep's clothing. If a person preaches other than faith, hope, charity, repentance and in keeping the Lord's commandments, they are not his servant. However, a prophet in the Lord's church has to be called of him to act as such, coupled with the necessary keys to be a prophet, seer and revelator. Our missionaries are servants as well. Bishops, Stake Presidents and area GA's are servants. But don't get me wrong, many a bishop and other officials called to be leaders have left the church, relinquishing all authority in doing so. They acted on Satan's promptings to leave the church, this is on them. Sexual sin is another way to lose discipleship for any of us.

God says we can identify His servants by their fruits. God's servants are everywhere. We just have to be able to hear them. In order to hear them we must understand how God speaks. Not all servants can prophesy, look into the future, past or present or reveal future events.

Servants of God better be just as the title says...to be true "servants." Let's remember that Satan has servants in the flesh as well. This is where "by their fruits" comes into play. A repentant sinner striving to be right under God is one thing, but a sinner obeying the commands of Satan is something to run from. The righteous can usually discern the wicked if they're in tune with the HG. Where I take issue, is in people high on themselves that are quick and ready to pounce on anyone they see committing sin or even suspect it. They jump on it like stink on a rag as if they are judge and jury, forgetting to notice that in the heart of many sinners exists a strong desire to please God. Such a man was Nephi, a prophet that lamented over sins that easily beset him, yet would cry unto the Lord and ask for forgiveness. Isn't this what all righteous sinners and true servants of God should do?
