This totally makes sense, though I'm not sure how it would be done.

I have no idea. I suppose it could be possible.

me either, just a suggestion, perhaps it's having a manifestation of Jesus and seeing what he went through will finally break their hearts?

At the end of the millennium is the "little season" where satan will be loosed and there will be a last battle of testimonies, and we all know who wins that war. Winner takes all :ymhug:

Winner takes all, I agree! Our Savior himself said he is the Savior and Redeemer of all mankind, if Christ doesn't save "all" mankind then he lied and then Satan wins. But we know our Lord cannot lie! I suggest a through study of Sec 138, don't just read it, study it in depth. Those in Spirit Prison will be taught and released from Spirit Prison, if that were not the case, then why bother? and Satan wins!

satan is only a person representing those who choose not to obey eternal laws, Christ, for those who realize sooner or later, that the law is the only way, those that realize are "saved" to whatever kingdom they can endure occording to their intelligence, HE is the Savior of mankind by "obedeience to the laws", the ordinances are automatic for whichever ones you need to be where you are going

Bob, thanks for the suggestion. I want you to know, that I have read many of your posts and I am impressed with your knowledge of the gospel. Please don't take my comments about Romney, on the other thread, as an attack on you. I might be completely wrong. I prefer Romney over all canidates except for Ron Paul. I am just giving my opinion based on what I know.

Please don't consider me to be an enemy. I have a great respect for your knowlegde.

Thomas, to my knowledge I have no enemies, just people I have a tendency to stay away from. I like to pattern myself after President Joseph Fielding Smith who, in the mission home in1964 (that was once in SLC just North of the Temple), instructed us to love everyone, it's easier to forgive, he explained, when you simply love everyone. He commented that he loved every child of God, then he added that he loved some of God's children a whole lot more than he loved others, but he loved us all! He also taught us that because "he" can repent really fast, he won't go to hell! We chuckled a bit (under our breath of course) but he was dead serious. And Thomas, I've learned to do just that, repent quickly, just by seeking and receiving the Spirit! The Spirit cleanses, the Holy Ghost cannot dwell in an unclean tabernacle, he has to cleanse us first. We read about the Lamanites who were cleansed so in the 5th chapter of Helaman, our Lord commented on them in 3rd Nephi 9: 20-21 saying they were baptized with the Holy ghost and "knew it not!" Helaman 5, a great study chapter! I recommend it!

I forgive everyone, I have learned to hold no grudges. But, it wasn't easy! It took JoAnn several years after we were married to convince me that I didn't need to solve all my problems with a quick palm heel strike to the nose, I had a hard time convincing myself that she was right, it had solved all my problems up to that time---and hey, it was over so quickly--- I would try to convince her that I was protecting and defending her or the kids, she would point out she felt no danger--and I'd ask, I wonder why, because I'm here? But she finally convinced me! I learned to walk away from trouble, but Thomas, there were times-------

Even at the age of 70 I can still snatch quarters out of the hand of the unsuspecting boy friends my daughter brings home. I've discovered, that's enough, it gets their attention really quick.

Now I'm just a fat old man, who busted far to many noses! Now I just want to forgive, be forgiven, and die in my sleep O:-) ----soon I hope, I'm keen on leaving mortality to you guys! Don't you dare mess it up X(

now that we have a quorum of 12 who want to be GODS and have the mighty change, let's hear it from them on how they did it, besides the usual "broken heart and contrite spirit" response, ie, I mean the PRICE THEY PAID

Bud, your making to much of this! The price they pay is continual repentance! "--and as oft as they repented they were forgiven!" "IF" sbsion, repentance and forgiveness removes all sin and the effect of sin, what then stops the truly penitent from being exalted?

resurrection is the key, before such, we must still "work out our exaltation", after that, different story, laws of justice are "directly in effect", here they are indirectly, hence, our purpose for coming here

We work out our exaltation by understanding, by study and by faith, by learning! Exaltation is eternal life and is free (D&C 14:7), a gift from our Savior who paid the price for the gift in the Garden and on the cross. I suggest a through study of Moroni chapter six.
