Good morning.

Post by Mullenite »

I've already enjoyed my nutrition drink earlier this morning, put an herbal tea on to warm and steep and started the second course of breakfast; cooking off breakfast sausage, in preparation to sauté onions and garlic in butter; adding in fresh eggs collected from my foul thereafter. If time and appetite permit, I may even add pancakes for good measure.

In the interim, I went out and swept freshly fallen snow from walkway and other areas in front of and beside my shelter elsewhere accommodations. Oh, what a beautiful morning it is outside! It's so peaceful and refreshing in these early hours. I also started up the truck, to see how its diesel engine is acclimating to these colder conditions. In a little while, I'll visit with, feed and water, and collect eggs from the foul.

As you may not know, Neal A. Maxwell has been and is one of my favorite speakers to listen too and learn through. I've had privilege to meet, listen to and briefly speak with him and have found in him a power example of a modern day hero for me personally, an exceptional exemplar of how a mere mortal, with unique gifts, talents, energy, willingness and commitment can chart out, pursue and achieve much good and be a benefit for good to those around him - near, far and wide.

Here's one of the gems of truth, messages of hope and courage, which have come through him to us, one which I enjoy listening to; especially as it specifically relates to the wrapping up scenes of our day and time and the hope, confidence and courage we mush and shall place in the Savior to safely and securely see us through what ultimately will come before us in the path of our mortal journeys:

Thank you Mullenite,

I'm glad you had a beautiful morning. Thank you for sharing it. I didn't read this til tonight, so I will wish you another Good Morning tomorrow.

The talk by Elder Maxwell is a very powerful testimony of Christ. Thank you for sharing that as well.
