I recently purchased the book "10 Books That Screwed Up The World" by Benjamin Wiker, Ph.D. It is 260 pages long and I am on page 100. So far it has been a very interesting read. The Author teaches religious classes at various universities. He is not a member of the Church.
His writing is very clear and easy to read. His arguments are very well thought out. To summarize, the author puts forth the following books as writings that have had a profoundly negative impact on civilization, and continue to permeate in peoples minds whether they know it or not.
Preliminary Screw-Ups
1. The Prince
2. Discourse on Method
3. Leviathan
4. Discourse on the Origin
5. Foundations of Inequality among Men
Ten Big Screw-Ups
1. The Manifesto of the Communist Party
2. Utilitarianism
3. The Decent of Man
4. Beyond Good and Evil
5. The State and Revolution
6. The Pivot of Civilization
7. Mein Kampf
8. The Future of and Illusion
9. Coming of Age in Samoa
10. Sexual Behavior in the Human Male
It is interesting to note how the authors of these books were nearly all atheists and were brought up in poor family circumstances (i.e. broken homes, abandoned by parents, ect.) It is also interesting to see how the first of the five books mentioned argued for philosophies that exactly match the philosophies of the anti-Christs mentioned in the Book of Mormon.
It is a good read, and I recommend it.

Rob Gibbsen, is that picture of yours the very familiar face from a certain video played in the temple (the actor that plays Satan)? If not, must be a twin. Very nice.
