Erratic Jumping compositions

What do I do about my postings jumping up and down while composing? It just started a couple of days ago. When I go to use the font colors the sentence I wanted to color disappears below the composition window. Or when I want to change some wording, same thing.

I have had this problem in the past, but it seems to be ok now. Not sure what caused it.

I have the same problem. I'm also new, and am still learning the system. The jumping problem makes it difficult to post. Am I doing something wrong?

Hopefully, Brian will see this thread and offer a solution. The problem is a real nuisance, it having started after over a 1,085 posts.

It started happening to me right after I went to 64-bit Windows 7.

I've never seen that happen, and nothing has changed recently with the forum... it's likely that the problem is on your end... internet browser related maybe? Try using a different browser to see if that helps, Firefox, Chrome, etc.

click the Compatability View button up at the top of Internet Explorer (right next to the search box). It is a rectangle with a jagged line through the center. It is gray, and once it has been clicked it will turn blue. This should fix the problem.

I was going to post what Squally posted. I had this exact issue months ago and that resolved it.

People are still using Internet Explorer?!?!



I only use Chrome and Firefox. I haven't used Internet Explorer as a primary internet browser for at least 5 years. As a web designer I can honestly say that Internet Explorer is an inferior web browser, it's very much more prone to problems than these other browsers.

Also, I don't know about Internet Explorer, but Firefox and Chrome have built-in spell-check!
