Welcome Local. The oldest gentleman in our Ward is from New Zealand. He served in WW II. His wife is Maori and I love them both. Great people. :)

Lots of new folks joining the discussion -- Welcome!

Please jump right in, would you?

1. How do you feel about Ron Paul?

2. How do you feel about a pre-emptive strike on Iran?

3. Have you ever heard of the free-fall drop of WTC7 (for over 100 feet) on 9-11-2001?

Thanks you to everyone for your warm welcome.

great lead in questions here Dr Jones,

My feelings on Ron Paul is that he is a staunch constitutionalist and because of this alignment, if elected, would most likely be the one that would bring about the most positive change than any other candidate in the race. In order of greatest change it would be; Foreign policy, economic fiscal policy, Big government reform. Can he beat Obama?. No I belive he cannot, especially not with the media circus in town.

A pre-emptive strike on Iran because they are getting into nuclear energy would be the worst thing that could take place, in my view Nuclear is inevitable for all countries - The redirection of the war chest funds should go into education, specificly 3rd world countries. A long and sustained investment in education (truth / knowledge of the lord)is key in avoiding conflicts now and forever... A stike against Iran should only be done on the defensive and if done so must be powerful and decisive, none of this hanging around for the next 10 years business.

I have heard of Building 7 unfortunately I don't know enough about it to comment.

Thank you for answering these questions so that we can get to know you better and finding out what people are thinking. I appreciate it.

We agree that "A pre-emptive strike on Iran because they are getting into nuclear energy would be the worst thing that could take place". I might add that I believe such a pre-emptive strike would violate the warnings in the Book of Mormon against pre-emptive attacks.

We also are in agreement that Ron Paul "is a staunch constitutionalist and because of this alignment, if elected, would most likely be the one that would bring about the most positive change than any other candidate in the race." As to whether he could win against Obama -- that is a more difficult question, depends on many things including the truth getting out to people and they're acting on it.

Speaking of truth, thanks for your candor: "I have heard of Building 7 unfortunately I don't know enough about it to comment". Let me just point you to a scientific paper that I published with colleagues in a technical peer-reviewed journal:

There is much more that could be said, but this is a good start IMHO.

Thanks for responding!
