Ron Paul’s View On Foreign Occupations Supported By US Troops

The establishment media is once again attempting to smear Ron Paul as anti-American following Paul’s simple observation during the debate last night that foreign occupations increase the risk of terrorist attacks, when in reality the Texan Congressman’s views are endorsed by US military personnel more than any other Republican candidate.

“Republican Presidential Candidate Rep. Ron Paul was booed at last night’s CNN/Tea Party debate while explaining his view on why America was attacked on September 11, 2001,” reports ABC News.

The corporate media instantly seized on the boos, made by a gaggle of neo-con “Tea Party” members, as a tool through which to portray Paul as un-American, with one acerbic headline even asking whether the Congressman was defending Al-Qaeda.

It’s a common smear to equate not supporting foreign occupations as anti-American or against conservative principles, despite the fact that the founding fathers consistently warned against becoming involved in foreign entanglements.

But like a lot of the myths circulated by the establishment about Ron Paul, reality reflects a very different picture.

Given the fact that Ron Paul has received more money in donations from active duty military personnel than all of the other Republican candidates combined and more than Barack Obama himself, his views on foreign occupations are supported by the very U.S. troops that neo-cons constantly invoke to support maintaining such foreign occupations.

Paul’s contention that the troops should be brought home from Afghanistan and Iraq, and that US bases around the world should be closed, is supported by those very same troops.

“Paul’s campaign told Politifact that Paul raised $34,480 from people in the military, compared with $19,849 for Obama and $13,848 for the other GOP presidential candidates,” reports USA Today.

“The Center for Responsive Politics says $11,350 of Paul’s military donations come from people who work for the Army. In the 2008 campaign, the center found that individuals employed by the Army, Navy and Air Force were Paul’s top three sources of campaign donations.”

But it’s not just military service people who are growing tired of America’s unaffordable foreign empire. According to a recent Rasmussen poll, conservatives in general are losing their appetite for war.

I can do nothing but laugh at the TSA’s new policy of “If you see something say something.” That is exactly what I did, and not only did the U.S. Government not want to hear what I had to say, but it actively lied about it, attempted to get me to change my story, and hid, by withholding (secret government) evidence or putting a protective order on the evidence and nearly everything that would support my eyewitness account.

Where are we now? We now have The Underwear Bomber (Umar) representing himself with the help of standby attorney Chambers. Attorney Chambers has indicated to me that if he were Umar’s attorney, that the defense would be entrapment and that I would be a key witness. Of course, such a defense would expose the U.S. Government’s involvement in the plot...

As predicted, the Federal Reserve has decided to foist QE 3 on America, but instead of naming it after its dismal failure siblings, the non-government agency is calling it “Operation Twist,” which is basically twisting the bond yield curve by snatching up longer dated bonds.

Peter Schiff breaks down Operation Twist.

The Fed will purchase $400 billion of Treasuries with maturities between 6 and 30 years before the end of June 2012 and will sell the same amount with maturities of 3 years or less.

“This is an agreement to continue QE2 in a low-grade way,” Tad Rivelle, chief investment officer for fixed income at TCW, told CNN.

Not surprisingly – because the financial elite always tell us stuff way in advance – this represents nothing short of an under-handed attack on pension funds.

“There’s a stealth attack on and I think it’s going to be very bad news for many pension funds,” said Bengt Saelensminde of MoneyWeek. “This is going to hit our pension fund industry hard. Frankly, it’s the last thing the industry needs. I’d go as far as to say that this could be the straw that breaks the camel’s back for many of our already struggling funds.”

The attack against people on fixed incomes and retirees began several years ago in earnest. In October of 2008, Congress’ top budget analyst estimated that Americans’ retirement plans lost as much as $2 trillion in a fifteen month period. Bernanke’s latest bogus effort to “stimulate” the economy will accelerate the pace considerably.

The establishment media admits the Fed is going after old folks: “The Federal Reserve’s ‘Operation Twist’ to bring down bond yields and stimulate the economy is likely to cause pain for the nation’s largest pension funds, already struggling with funding shortfalls from the recent stock market decline,” Reuters reports today.

In order to add insult to pain, the Fed also said there is “significant downside risks to the economic outlook, including strains in global financial markets.”

In other words, QE1 and its sick brother QE2 did nothing beyond expand the money supply and add to the pace of inflation now gaining momentum. As Ron Paul has noted, inflation is created by the private bankster-owned Federal Reserve and represents a hidden tax on the American people.

In addition to sabotaging pensions (and lowering the life expectancy of millions), the Fed is once again gifting the hedge fund racketeers who are increasingly getting retirement fund allocations to take bigger risks to offset lower fixed portfolio returns, as Money Morning notes.

Instead of merely calling this thing “Operation Twist,” let’s call it “Operation Twist and Shout” because...

Having seen the presentation a couple of times in the past year or so, I highly recommend it for viewing if you can possibly get your hands on it.

I have no fear what-so-ever for the coming plagues that shall surely come and for which man's puny arm, including Big Pharma and their vaccines shall not stop. During the protest in San Antonio at the Federal Reserve on Sunday, a man we initially identified as a police officer admitted that the Fed is private, not a federal agency.


It turns out that the man who asked Alex Jones and fellow demonstrators to leave what he described as private property was not a San Antonio police officer as originally identified, but a captain of security at a privately owned institution that masquerades as a federal agency.

“It’s not a federal building,” he said.

Since 1913 the Federal Reserve has given the impression it is an agency of the federal government when in fact it is privately owned by banks.

The Fed’s shareholders are private banks. “In fact, 100% of its shareholders are private banks,” notes Ellen Brown. “None of its stock is owned by the government.”

Alex Jones and the demonstrators gathered at the Fed branch in San Antonio were in fact trespassing on private property.

When one Australian woman decided to lead the charge against Gardasil maker Merck after experiencing serious adverse reactions, she soon found another 7 Victorian women with similar intentions and experiences. Naomi Snell, a resident of Melbourne, Australia, suffered an auto-immune and neurological attack after being injected with the HPV shot Gardasil. After reading about a Sydney neurologist who exposed Gardasil as a potential cause of MS-like symptoms, Snell realized that Gardasil could be behind her recent health ailments.

The Gardasil vaccine has a very questionable timeline, riddled with corruption and devastating side effects. Shockingly, the HPV shot led to 3,589 harmful reactions and 16 deaths between May 2009 and September 2010 alone. Of the 3,589 adverse reactions, many were debilitating. Permanent disability was the result of 213 cases; 25 resulted in the diagnosis of Guillain-Barre Syndrome; there were 789 other “serious” reports according to FDA documents.

Merck of course makes no mention of this in their deceptive advertisements, leading consumers to think that the vaccine is safe.

Now that Silvio Berlusconi has fallen on his sword – but not before making sure Italians suffer austerity – the globalists can make their move and insert one of their trusted minions: former EU Commissioner Mario Monti.

“Analysts are excited about the strong possibility that former EU Commissioner Mario Monti will head up a new national unity government in Italy,” reports Business Insider.

Goldman Sachs and the financial elite are pushing for “a government more amenable to reforms that encourage growth and improve governance… Markets would approve of this kind of coalition.

In other words, they are angling for the wholesale looting of the Italian economy and bankster privatization resulting in mass unemployment, wage cuts, pension thievery, and public services fire sales.

“Super Mario” Monti is a perfect choice to overlord the pillaging. He completed his graduate studies under James Tobin at Yale. Tobin was a Keynesian economist who served on the Council of Economic Advisors and the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.

It stands to reason that Goldman Sachs will lead the charge in the coming rape of Italy – Monti is Goldman’s international adviser.

He was the first chairman of Bruegel, the internationalist European think-tank that steers the globalist agenda for the EU. Monti is also the European Chairman of David Rockefeller’s Trilateral Commission and is also a leading member of the Bilderberg Group.

In short, Monti is a super-globalist. The Italian people can only expect to be run over and economically raped after Mario Monti is appointed to head up the government in Italy.
