eddie wrote: May 5th, 2017, 2:01 am Tell me again, who is Darrell Castle? I thought we should include him in the fun! :D
Perhaps someday a 3rd party will come up with a viable candidate, someone with more than 2 votes, HIS AND YOURS.

Won't that be fun when coming out of the voting booth you don't have to throw your vote in the trash can? :D
Hey, man, things don't change when you're fighting to keep them the same. Joseph Smith voted 3rd party and even encouraged the saints to do the same. How many votes did he cause to be thrown into the trash? Ever consider why he did it?

If you want righteous candidates, support righteous candidates. They don't always have an R or a D next to them, in fact more often don't.
Hey man, I'm just serving up a little of your own medicine. I know Joseph Smith was a 3rd party candidate but who did he vote for?

I like your humor and comments, I'm mostly kidding, mostly. LOL

That was 1844. He was killed before the vote was held. However, I have to imagine he would have voted for himself. He even sent out the 12 to stump for him. This was no "idle Tuesday" event for him. He took it quite seriously.

As for me, I kid around aplenty. Mostly.

I bet border-living Trump voters didn't know they were voting to have their property seized. Oops! Trump LOVES eminent domain and has frequently sued to gain possession of others' property - especially for building casinos that "stimulate economic development":
Trump has been consistent over time. When the Supreme Court narrowly upheld “economic development” takings that transfer property to private parties in the 2005 Kelo case, the ruling was widely denounced on both left and right. But Trump defended it stating that “I happen to agree with it 100%. if you have a person living in an area that’s not even necessarily a good area, and … government wants to build a tremendous economic development, where a lot of people are going to be put to work and … create thousands upon thousands of jobs and beautification and lots of other things, I think it happens to be good.” Trump did not merely claim that the decision was legally correct; he argued that it was “good” to give government the power to forcibly displace homeowners and small businesses and transfer their property to influential developers on the theory that doing so might promote “economic development.”

A Russian immigrant, Banin said: “I knew they could do this in Russia, but not here. I would understand if they needed it for an airport runway, but for a casino?”

"Mostly?" Did you use my line? I'll be here all week folks.
I've invited Darrell Castle to the forum, but he tripped over a garbage can, the 2 votes fell out, and he jammed both thumbs in his haste to pick them up and he can't type. ;)

Let's see...
538 members of the Electoral College
270 electoral votes needed to win
Turnout 54.7% (estimated) Decrease 0.2%

Nominee Donald Trump Hillary Clinton
Party Republican Democratic
Home state New York New York
Running mate Mike Pence Tim Kaine
Electoral vote 304 227
States carried 30 + ME-02 20 + DC
Popular vote 62,984,825 65,853,516
Percentage 46.1% 48.2%

The data above comes from: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_St ... tion,_2016

What we have here is an example of Mosiah 29 with 94.3% of the voice of the people selecting two of the worst candidates ever to run for president. Many Republican voters thought they had to hold their nose to vote for Trump instead of simply seeking a 3rd party candidate. All of this is an indication of how strong the propaganda is in the US. The programming of the public is well done. Most cannot break out of the two-party mindset. Too bad. The regrets for voting for Trump are starting to appear, but the deception is still strong as we would expect since it's prophesied in Ether 8 and elsewhere.
