The biggest problem I've seen on the forum is not related to what is being discussed it's more so about how people treat each other. Almost any topic is welcome and open for discussion here. There are very few topics I would say do not belong here.

I also don't think we want to encourage a 'purge' on the forum. Better to hope that no more banishments/bannings are necessary for the rest of us to better follow the rules.
Perhaps "coward" is an understatement still to this member shadow.
I'm not too computer savvy, but I'm surprised you are able to read and respond using your username and yet, your husband is banned. Do you use different computers? Is he able to read the forum--BrianM said that when JWharton was banned, he wasn't even able to read our responses.
You know kitkat, if it was me, I'd just let it go and accept the decision of the owner. Shadow was banned for a year--so if your husband wants to come back, I expect Brian might give him another chance at some point--he's pretty forgiving. But it would be good if BofM doesn't try to blame his banning on other people. One of the worst things an inmate can do, when going before a parole board, is to refuse to admit their own responsibility for their situation.
