Re: nifty bunkers
Does anyone really think hiding in a hole in the ground is going to save them? I, for one, would like to go quickly so that I don't have to suffer all the pain and discomfort "in the flesh"! Just can't see having a good time living without indoor plumbing!

Re: nifty bunkers
If I can build a brand new house for $105/square foot... with all the features of a nice house; why would I pay $245/sqft for an underground room?
Catfish come to mind....

The small safe room would be good if you lived in tornado country or in an area prone to home break-ins.
