For Downey, CA. 50s and 1960s are probably still the greatest era for music ever, listen to all 30 songs.

Thanks, Bgood. I like some songs from those eras too.
Ezra wrote:That's why I ask. I've never heard those songs. But I know how horrid the lyrics are in most music anymore.

I feel it's not really music unless they accually sing and can play instruments. You can't crap without rap.

I do love some good reggae though. Bob Damien and ziggy Marley.

I like it! And I imagine even those who claim to hate classical, but like rock, would like that.

About hopping around... Tony Robbins was saying how hopping with your arms up - is a natural thing kids do and we do when we're excited and how you can fake it 'till you make it.
In some royalty's palace in the old days, they had this exercise machine that would basically bounce you up and down.
When I dance or jog - I feel energized, and it makes me wonder if our bodies really need that bouncing motion at least some, to keep muscles toned, as well as to keep a regular supply of feel-good hormones circulating.

Exercise for me is walking about 2 miles every other day. I like to think during that time, mostly about moving to Utah, so I want no "music" or other noise, other than the birds chirping and the wind blowing, and the unfortunate noise of the big city for part of the walk.
If I'm working on something, I also like no noise so that I might conentrate and enjoy the work.
I think also some excerise for me is motorcycling, when again I like to get out into the wild areas with no city noise, and no city and nothing to listen to other than my own thoughts, which are loud enough.

Hey, BG, how you been doing? Hope all is well with you and yours.
Let me post this assortment and see what we got.

Most of it was good. I didn't think it would be quite so long though, as in non-stop. I'm old school where there were breaks in between segments. Could just be me, though. I like all kinds of music, some better than others. But the beat was, as they say, catchy. It made me shake my shoulders a few times as I sat here listening.
