FreedomForAll,
Thanks again for all the good tunes - they've helped get me moving!

I couldn't help but dance to this song this morning:

Exercise for me is walking about 2 miles every other day. I like to think during that time, mostly about moving to Utah, so I want no "music" or other noise, other than the birds chirping and the wind blowing, and the unfortunate noise of the big city for part of the walk.
If I'm working on something, I also like no noise so that I might conentrate and enjoy the work.
I think also some excerise for me is motorcycling, when again I like to get out into the wild areas with no city noise, and no city and nothing to listen to other than my own thoughts, which are loud enough.

I still don't know how to embed a video on here.

It may not be your idea of 'exercise music', but this 40-something DJ seems to be able to find his way around his sound system.

If God was a DJ his name would be Nightmares On Wax! This dude is spinning the sounds of HEAVEN right here!

Hey, BG, how you been doing? Hope all is well with you and yours.
Let me post this assortment and see what we got.

Most of it was good. I didn't think it would be quite so long though, as in non-stop. I'm old school where there were breaks in between segments. Could just be me, though. I like all kinds of music, some better than others. But the beat was, as they say, catchy. It made me shake my shoulders a few times as I sat here listening.

This is the sort of music used at the 'all night' rave venues in Europe. Hypnotic, I guess.

This particular DJ has a pretty extended knowledge of funk, disco, motown, & African/Brazilian. His particular artistry is in stringing it altogether with NO bumps for 1 hour: 26 minutes.

It helps me get through tough housecleaning work with a lighter step!

I also love seeing these well-mannered 'alternative' youth exercising quiet, unassuming interaction with one another. Gives me hope!

Music is so much a part of my life. I've always been a fool for a good beat. Heck with exercising, I just put on music with a good beat and DANCE! (My granddaughter likes to dance with me) I love anything from the disco era to my favorites in the 80's.

How about Wang Chung Everybody have fun tonight, Robbie Nevell C'est La Vie, Whitney Houston I Want to Dance with Somebody, Heatwave The Grove Line, Patrick Hernandez Born to be Alive, ANYTHING Kool and the Gang :)

Good stuff, FreedomforAll. Btw, where have you been?

Of course, music is personal- we tend to resonate and be inspired and motivated by music that’s tied to good memories. Or maybe as each generation says, “There ain’t good music anymore.”

Anyway - this song (Rhythm is a Dancer) reminds me when I used to go dancing in clubs.
Dancing is a good work out that is fun!
