"Washington (CNN)The Senate Thursday approved on a largely party line vote a budget bill that would repeal Obamacare and defund Planned Parenthood, two top priorities of Republicans who control the chamber.
Not to be outdone, Democrats seized the debate to try to force votes on gun control legislation that could put some Republicans in a politically tough position as the country is reeling from a recent spate of mass shootings.
By voting to nullify Obamacare -- the signature domestic accomplishment of the Obama administration -- GOP congressional leaders fulfilled a longtime pledge to voters and rank-and-file members to get a repeal to President Barack Obama's desk, even though he will veto it.
The bill would also cut off federal funding to Planned Parenthood, the women's health group that provides abortions and has long under GOP scrutiny. Republicans' passions to cutoff taxpayer dollars to the organization increased in recent months when videos were released that purported to show Planned Parenthood executives selling the tissue of aborted fetuses to researchers.
Paul Ryan's vision for a 'confident America'
While the House and Senate have voted scores of times to repeal Obamacare, this was the first time they are using a special tool known as "budget reconciliation" that allow the measure to clear the Senate with just 51 votes instead of the 60 votes typically required for major legislation. That higher threshold has allowed Democrats to block all past repeal efforts.
By steering these two hot-button issues into the reconciliation bill, Republican leaders also steered them away from a separate must-pass government funding bill Congress is dealing with now known as the omnibus. Had those controversial issues been included in that bill, it would have made even harder to pass before the December 11 deadline when the government could shut down.
As with Obamacare, Senate Democrats have blocked recent efforts to defund the organization so the reconciliation bill became the GOP's best option to move the measure.
"Middle class Americans continue to call on Washington to build a bridge away from Obamacare. They want better care. They want real health reform," argued Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. "For too long, Democrats did everything to prevent Congress from passing the type of legislation necessary to help these Americans who are hurting. Today that ends."
During floor debate, Republicans recounted with frustration the 7 a.m. vote on Christmas eve morning in 2009 when the 60 Democrats who held a filibuster-proof margin of control "crammed" the bill through Senate, in the words of Sen. Jeff Sessions of Alabama, without a single Republican vote.
"The American people knew this wouldn't work, they opposed it from the beginning. They opposed the philosophy of it and they knew we were going to have a mess on our hands," Sessions said.
Others, like Sen. John Cornyn of Texas, the second-ranking Senate Republican, argued there was no way for the law to be sustained in the long run without GOP backing. "It was a terrible mistake," Cornyn said about the way Democrats and the President pushed the bill through.
Democrats countered that Republicans were wasting time with more political show votes.
"What they're doing on this reconciliation is just going nowhere," said Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid on Tuesday. "They want to do this to satisfy a few radical right-wing people who they have joined forces with. Another charade may make some Republican senators feel better, but it won't make law."
Democrats launch gun control debate
In recent months, many Senate Democrats have grown increasingly agitated at their inability to respond to the growing number of mass shootings across the country and pass tougher gun control legislation and measures to help mentally unstable people before they carry out a tragedy. Their last major effort came after 20 children and 6 adults were killed by a gunman in Newtown, Connecticut, three years ago.
Even then, a bipartisan measure from Sen. Joe Manchin, D-West Virginia and Sen. Pat Toomey, R-Pennsylvania to expand background checks failed.
Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders seek gun control reform after shootings
Democrats took advantage of the special rules of debate to push for votes on gun-related measures Republicans probably would not have allowed.
"The entire country will know where every member of the Senate stands on tightening background checks, on keeping guns out of the hands of terrorists, and on strengthening and improving mental health in this country," said Sen. Chuck Schumer of New York. "The scourge of gun violence that has swept through this country in recent years has snuffed out thousands upon thousands of lives. It's an epidemic that must be dealt with head on and that means keeping guns out of the hands of people who should not have guns."
Democrats brought up the Manchin-Toomey measure, a proposal from Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California that would prevent people on the terror watch list from buying guns, and a third amendment to strengthen mental health and substance abuse treatment all failed. Each was blocked from getting 60 votes to advance. Republicans offered alternatives to each and they were blocked as well.
Three Republicans besides Toomey voted for the expanded background check legislation. They were Sen. John McCain of Arizona, Sen Mark Kirk of Illinois and Sen. Susan Collins of Maine. Each is up for re-election in a competitive state. Democrat Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota voted against the amendment.
The other amendments fell on party lines.
San Bernardino: At least 14 people killed in mass shooting
Some of the moderate Republicans up for re-election already tried to thread the needle on the budget during the Planned Parenthood debate. Collins, Kirk, and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska offered an amendment that would have stripped the defunding language, but it was defeated.
Kirk and Collins were the only Republicans to vote against the final bill.
One bit of drama on the final vote was whether GOP presidential candidates Sens. Ted Cruz of Texas and Marco Rubio of Florida would support the bill. They had complained the Obamacare repeal was not deep enough but Senate GOP leaders made changes to satisfy them and were confident they would back the bill, especially because pro-life groups adamantly support defunding Planned Parenthood and the candidates are courting those pro-life voters.
In the end, they both voted for the bill.
The debate included a wide variety of issues including a proposal from Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, a GOP presidential candidate, to curb Syrian refugees from coming into the U.S. but his measure failed to get 60 votes.
The bill, which was approved on a 52-47 vote, now goes back to the House, which is expected to adopt it and send it to the President for his veto."

Compare Sweden and Japan in regards to their immigration policies about allowing Muslims to enter their countries. The Conservative Tribune writes,

One, Sweden, began allowing large-scale immigration from Muslim nations during the 1970s. The other, Japan, not only doesn’t allow in most Muslim immigrants but is openly anti-Islam.
“What happened? Well, Sweden is now the rape capital of the world, while Japan has almost no problems of the sort.” (hat tip to here for the link)
Those on the left will gasp in shock and say, “These horrible people [the rapists] are not representative of all Muslims!”, and they are correct. Not all Muslims are rapists, but there is no denying that predominantly Muslim cultures, on the whole, treat women like cattle. The Conservative Tribune also noted,
“‘As Muslim men immigrated to Sweden, they brought with them an Islamic culture sanctioning rape. It is a culture bad enough inherently in the treatment of its own women,’ Zumwalt wrote.
‘Under Sharia, Muslim women serve little more purpose beyond catering to their husbands’ sexual demands. A non-submissive wife runs the risk of being raped by her husband.’

So, now, leftists want us to ignore the reality of a culture of violence against women, instead of protecting our own women, so that we can be understanding of a culture that, too often, simply wants to use our kindness as an inroad to kill and violently dominate us. Starting with our women and children.
This is what liberals like Obama don’t seem to get about the immigration issue: it’s not that we don’t want to help those in need (and, if most of the refugees were women and children, we would be more understanding). In fact the United States gives an amazing amount of money in aid to those in need. But helping those in need doesn’t mean doing it in such a way that it puts those we love, specifically those we should be protecting, in harms way.
Beyond concerns over terrorism, that is the real concern about Obama’s refugee and immigration policies: these policies allow predators into our country to prey on our women and children, and we must exercise more caution than Obama is willing to do."

“’There’s a number of pieces of evidence which has essentially pushed us off the cliff to say we are considering this an act of terrorism,’ he [Bowdich] said.”

Maybe he should check into The Immigration and Nationality Act, which was passed June 27, 1952, and revised the United States’ laws regarding immigration, naturalization, and nationality. This Act is under Section 313.
But he did not want you to know that. He wanted you to take what he says for face value when there is none (John 8:44).
These illegals are America’s sworn enemies, who are calling for the “killing of the infidels,” as well as calling America the “Great Satan.” In other words, they are nothing more than plants to create a revolution within to attack without (Deuteronomy 28:50; 32:25).
With that said, it should interest the people of this country that the media will go off of information that is premised on mere speculation and hearsay only to exhaust the topic and speak of it as if it were the truth when there is no truth (Jeremiah 11:9).
On the other hand, they will speak of a topic with information, which is premised on truth and fact, as if it is fictitious or conspiratorially premised.
It is also interesting that people will get on an airplane only to ascend up to a staggering 35,000 feet without asking to see the credentials of the pilot who is to take them to their desired destination.
Yet, when The Lord warns His people, they act as if it is irrelevant and their actions suggest that it does not apply to them.

It amazes me what America will do outside of the grace of God, what it is that they will tolerate, and even accept as truth, even when they say that they do not believe what is being told to them. This is the blind leading the blind, and Americans wonder why the country is in a ditch (Matthew 15:14). I am speaking of those who have “eye’s and see not; which have ears, but hear not” (Jeremiah 5:21).
Look what Americans have put up with over the last 7 years in this country concerning this administration with no verifiable records or substantive documentation of Barack Obama being an American citizen (Deuteronomy 28:36).
I thought it worthy to lay at the feet of the reader, concerning that which was recently posted online in the face of this “transparent administration” for you to ponder (Matthew 10:26). It is left in original post.

In a country where we take notice of many, many facets of our public figures' lives, doesn't seem odd that there's so little we know about our current president, Barack Obama.
For example, we know that Andrew Jackson’s wife smoked a corn cob pipe; Abe Lincoln never went to school; Jack Kennedy wore a back brace; Harry Truman played the piano.
As Americans, we enjoy knowing details about our newsmakers, but none of us know one single humanizing fact about the history of our own president.
We are all aware of the lack of incontestable birth records for Obama; that document managing has been spectacularly successful.
There are, however, several additional oddities in Obama's history that appear to be as well managed as the birthing issue.
One other interesting thing... There are no birth certificates of his daughters that can be found?
It's interesting that no one who ever dated him has shown up. The charisma that caused women to be drawn to him so strongly during his campaign, certainly would, in the normal course of events, lead some lady to come forward, if only to garner some attention for herself.
We all know about JFK's magnetism, that McCain was no monk and quite a few details about Palin's courtship and even her athletic prowess, Joe Biden's aneurysms are no secret; look at Cheney and Clinton, we all know about their heart problems. Certainly Wild Bill Clinton's exploits before and during his White House years were well known.
That's why it's so odd that not one lady has stepped up and said, "He was soo shy..." or "What a great dancer..."
It's virtually impossible to know anything about this fellow.
Who was the best man at his wedding? Start there. Then check groomsmen.
Then get the footage of the graduation ceremony. Has anyone talked to the professors? It is odd that no one is bragging that they knew him or taught him or lived with him.
When did he meet Michele, and how? Are there photos there? Every president gives to the public all their photos, etc. for their library, etc. What has he released?
And who in h*ll voted for him to be the most popular man in 2010? Doesn't this make you wonder?
Ever wonder why no one ever came forward from President Obama's past saying they knew him, attended school with him, was his friend, etc.??

He questions why no one has acknowledged the president was in his or her classroom or ate in the same cafeteria or made impromptu speeches on campus. Stephanopoulos also was a classmate of Obama at Columbia -- the class of 1984. He says he never had a single class with him.
He is such a great orator; why doesn't anyone in Obama's college class remember him? Why won't he allow Columbia to release his records?
Nobody remembers Obama at Columbia University....
Looking for evidence of Obama's past, Fox News contacted 400 Columbia University students from the period when Obama claims to have been there... but none remembered him.
Wayne Allyn Root was, like Obama, a political science major at Columbia who also graduated in 1983.
In 2008, Root said of Obama, "I don't know a single person at Columbia that knew him, and they all know me. I don't have a classmate who ever knew Barack Obama at Columbia, ever."
Nobody recalls him. Root adds that he was also, like Obama, Class of '83 Political Science, and says, "You don't get more exact or closer than that. Never met him in my life, don't know anyone who ever met him.
At the class reunion, our 20th reunion five years ago, who was asked to be the speaker of the class? Me. No one ever heard of Barack! And five years ago, nobody even knew who he was.
The guy who writes the class notes, who's kind of the, as we say in New York, 'the macha' who knows everybody, has yet to find a person, a human who ever met him."
Obama's photograph does not appear in the school's yearbook and Obama consistently declines requests to talk about his years at Columbia, provide school records, or provide the name of any former classmates or friends while at Columbia.
Some other interesting questions:
Why was Obama's law license inactivated in 2002? It is said there is no record of him ever taking the Bar exam.
Why was Michelle's law license inactivated by court order? We understand that was forced to avoid fraud charges.
It is circulating that according to the U.S. Census, there is only one Barack Obama but 27 Social Security numbers and over 80 aliases connected to him.
The Social Security number he uses now originated in Connecticut where he is reported to have never lived.
And was originally registered to another man (Thomas Louis Wood) from Connecticut, who died in Hawaii while on vacation there. As we all know, Social Security Numbers are only issued 'once, they are not reused.'

Why was Obama's law license inactivated in 2002? It is said there is no record of him ever taking the Bar exam.
Why was Michelle's law license inactivated by court order? We understand that was forced to avoid fraud charges.
It is circulating that according to the U.S. Census, there is only one Barack Obama but 27 Social Security numbers and over 80 aliases connected to him.
The Social Security number he uses now originated in Connecticut where he is reported to have never lived.
And was originally registered to another man (Thomas Louis Wood) from Connecticut, who died in Hawaii while on vacation there. As we all know, Social Security Numbers are only issued 'once, they are not reused.'

Clare Lopez, who at one time worked for the CIA, said Obama knowingly “pursued a policy in Libya that ultimately allowed guns to walk into the hands of of jihadists linked to the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL) and al-Qaeda (AQ) in Syria.”

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has been accused of deleting intelligence records relating to dangerous Islamists linked to terrorists Sayed Farook and Tashfeen Malik, because they wanted to protect the “civil liberties” of members of the caliphate-supporting network.
Phil Haney, a U.S. Customs and Border Patrol analyst, says he was ordered to stop investigating Deobandi Islamist groups and his work on them was erased. He even says he was subjected to a disciplinary when he attempted to blow the whistle.
If he’d been allowed to continue his investigation, he claims Malik’s visa application would have been flagged for greater scrutiny.
He explained: “The administration was more concerned about the civil rights and liberties of foreign Islamic groups with terrorist ties than the safety and security of Americans”.

Tablighi Jamaat is a Deobandi revivalist movement whose mandate is, according to its leading advocate Ebrahim Rangooni, to save the Muslim world “from the culture and civilisation of the Jews and the Christians…” To this end, he has suggested cultivating “such hatred for their ways as human beings have to urine and excrement.”
Tablighi Jamaat have been linked to 80 per cent of all recent terrorist related crimes in France.
Mr. Haney’s work tracking the radical movement was considered so important that he says he was given an agency award for identifying potential terrorists, and he was asked to become part of the National Targeting Center, which works to connect the dots and build a bigger picture of terrorist activity.
However, after more than six months tracking the Deobandis, Homeland Security unexpectedly halted his investigation on the request of the State Department’s Office of Civil Rights, Haney alleges.
According to Mr. Haney, the agencies argued that since the radical Islamist groups are not specially designated as terrorist organizations, tracking individuals related to them was a violation of the their “civil liberties.”

"They (the White House) approached us, saying would we consider taking the president on an adventure to Alaska. I almost didn't really believe it. I thought this was a spoof," Grylls said.
Grylls said a team of about 50 Secret Service personnel, a food taster, snipers and helicopters accompanied the pair during the day-long trek through a forest and across a glacial outwash.
Obama threw himself into it, shrugging off the food taster, sharing Gryll's water bottle, lighting fires and eating berries.
"He didn't have any problems. He wanted the physicality ... he was up for everything," Grylls said.
Asked what he had learned from the trip, Grylls quipped: "Whoever you are, everyone puts their trousers on one leg at a time."

"The FBI has taken heat for failing to immediately classify the San Bernardino shootings as terrorism, but a new report shows that FBI reluctance could have been due to external pressure from the White House.
A source told Jack Murphy of SOFREP that the FBI instantly believed the shooting, which left 14 dead, to be a clear act of terrorism. The White House, however, didn’t feel the same way and quickly moved in to squash the terror classification.
This source added that as soon as the shooting took place, Obama convened a meeting with the National Security Council and the heads of other federal enforcement agencies to discuss a public relations strategy.
Part of the reason for trying to avoid the designation of the shootings as terrorism is because it threatens to upset the Obama administration’s strategy in Syria. “There’s no question in my mind that it hurt the credibility of the president’s word when this occurred. A president’s word is a big thing, and when the president says things, that’s a big deal,” he said, noting that Obama’s change of heart shook world leaders’ confidence in the president.
Hagel said that the White House held endless meetings on the Syrian crisis, but that the meetings never accomplished very much.
“I don’t think many times we ever actually got to where we needed to be. We kept kind of deferring the tough decisions. And there were always too many people in the room,” he said. “We seemed to veer away from the big issues. What was our political strategy on Syria?”
Hagel, who opposed “boots on the ground” in Syria, had insisted America needed a diplomatic plan to identify when and how Assad should be removed, if necessary.
Hagel’s comments in June 2014 that ISIS was “beyond anything that we’ve seen” were not well received at the White House, he said.
“I got accused of trying to hype something, overstate something, and make something more than it was,” Hagel said. “I didn’t know all of it, but I knew we were up against something here that we had never seen before. And in many ways, we were not prepared for it.”
Hagel often was on the spot for the failings of the Obama administration. He cited a congressional hearing from September 2014 when he was asked whether the U.S would back rebels fighting Assad if they were in turn attacked."
