What's amazing to me are the TRILLIONS the 'Fed' has doled out in bail-outs, printed and spent buying up worthless mortgage debt, t-bills, banks' debt, etc. and how few people are questioning their actions and where they're getting that kind of money from.   Imagine your local bank being bankrupt many times over and functioning as if it has an unlimited supply of money and assets - that is what the 'Fed' is and does.   It is the biggest criminal operation and ponzi scheme the world has ever seen.

Want $1 TRILLION? Here it is (and remember - these are stacks of $100 bills... imagine if they were $1 bills... and then add another 99 of these... that is where we are at debt-wise and with unfunded liabilities...   (note the man standing next to the pallets in the lower left hand corner)...

Any idea how much quantitative easing Japan through at their lost decade? (hint, it's in the many Trillions)

Any idea how inflationary it was?

Now compare and contrast the size of Japan's economy and ours and do the math...

Visualizing Obama's budget cuts (in 1 minute).

Spending is the true tax, because one way or another (either via direct taxation or via legalized counterfeiting, or by devaluing our money through inflation) the money for the spending comes from us! Reducing government spending IS reducing taxation. ALL taxation is immoral. Please see: Taxation Constitutional Amendment at http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread ... -Amendment.

As long as the 'Fed' exists, we have a phony two-party system, big money interests control Washington and the Bank of England controls the 'Fed', we'll never have sound money. These banksters, once they get control, will not relinquish it without a fight - just ask Andrew Jackson.

The good news, though is that Fed will destroy itself by its destruction of the dollar. Also, many people will be forced to wake up. We must introduce the true alternative to tyranny in theft, which is sound, 100% commodity based money. And the best way to implement them is via free competition in currencies.

Utah starts process to legalise gold and silver as money

Utah Senate also passes gold-and-silver legal-tender act. It exempts the sale of these metals from Utah sales and capital-gains taxes. If Governor Herbert signs this into law, it will be an important step toward sound money. [This could be profound. Residents of Utah would not have to use Federal Reserve Notes in commerce. Banks would have to accept gold and silver coin on deposit and settle accounts with it as well. Other states may follow suit.]

No one is questioning it because if they didn't fo this, the whole system would collapse at this point. This is what's keeping the boat afloat right now. Eventually it will collapse anyway but most people say better tomorrow than today.

Dudes, for the life of me I can't figure out why they keep hinting at stopping. We don't have enough currency. Why don't the pundits get out of the way and let Bernanke do his constitutionally appointed job? He's been fabulous thus far. Pundits are the only thing stopping him from absolute mastery. I'm so glad he was reappointed, dudes.

This hokey sound money stuff is good on the ears, but it's just not practical. It's not like the means to production disappear when this prophesied crash happens (even though it's not going to no matter how much you beg for it). Production does crash when gold standards are worshiped into law. Truly sad. Truly, truly sad what happens under gold worship.

Slippery gold go away and don't come back another day.

That's what the song should have said.

What means of production Orwell? Haven't we lost the majority of our manufacturing base overseas? We've morphed into a service based economy to a large extent. When the dollar crashes, nobody will need or be able to afford all the services we peddle in the USA.

Yes, there is still some some manufacturing in the US, but enough to sustain the whole nation when nobody wants to trade with us?

We are not even a service economy.....we've been a debt economy for over a decade whilst production and service jobs fled the country via help and orchestration via central banking schemes. Now we are left with the debt and no production and very little service. Game over! Time to pay the debt piper!

Na, dudes, don't let people lie through their teeth to ya. We used to make pencils and textiles. Now we make big, cool stuff like jet engines. Manufacturing output of real stuff has grown every year but maybe two for the last fifty. And we could replace those no skill jobs that we have outsourced overnight.

Dudes, you can listen to the fear mongerers or you can look at the cold, hard facts. Manufacturing has been nothing but up. Ooh, and it happens to be the sector leading the great old USofA out of that recession, ya know, the one that a certain poster kept harping on spiraling out of control yet it never happened? Dudes, we're doin' just fine. That is, dudes, unless ya hate advancement to a mature service econ and prefer caves and stone hunting knives and stuff. No stone ager here. No sirreee dudes.

I'll give ya the debt stuff, dudes, but that's only cause them commie Chinese and dictatin' dudes in the Middle of Easts don't wanna play by the rules. Now they're gonna get Jimmered bigtime by Uncle Ben. I love that Ben dudes. He's sayin' "Hey China, ya don't wanna play ball? Fine, we're printin' up sky high piles of money and will fuel your inflation fire. Take that, sucka's. Join the float or get bent."

Yeah, this printing business is doin' just what it's supposed to--replacing the Chinese hoarding like they're a bunch of Rockafellers.

Submit to America, homies.
